My personal experience with both my clinical team and the amazing administrative staff, AKA “the backbone of the organization” ensuring the whole operation runs smoothly (the ship would sink without them- let’s just have honest conversations here 😉) has been phenomenal. It does not mean everything always runs perfectly, that’s just life, but it does mean human moments, “when you try your best but don’t succeed” (thanks Coldplay 😆), are taken seriously, handled with respect, compassion, dignity, thoughtfulness, and appropriately addressed and corrected; that earns trust and respect.

I highly recommend this organization to provide mental health care that is anchored in treating the whole person; mind, body, spirit. The mental health system in America has repeatedly failed men, women, and children for a plethora of reasons, and it is for that reason that I can recommend Lifestance. What sets their team as a whole apart is as follows:

1) They care about restoring a person to wholeness, which is a complex process that requires listening to understand, staying up to date with ongoing research and clinical studies, humility, a robust understanding of trauma and appropriate treatment methods, refusing to simply mask symptoms with medications while simultaneously ignoring circumstances, environments, and identifying root causes in order to develop a treatment plan for wholeness (healing into thriving) vs treatment plans that keep an individual broken and dependent on the system to simply “survive”. In short: humans are complex, and restoration is a process that takes time and a unique approach if we are to responsibly assess and provide treatment plans that help humans heal at a deep level in order for restoration and thriving to occur. To reduce any human to a list of symptoms, diagnosis, medications, and subsequently speak a future of brokenness and struggle over them is cruelty and medical negligence at the highest level.

2) A collaborative “team” approach on your healing journey. Few things are more harmful and discouraging to a human who is struggling, actively seeking help to get better, and willing to do the work, only to be set back further due to medical negligence from the very humans assigned to help them heal. To feel misunderstood, unheard, disrespected, limited, put in a box, like you are simply another number, broken, or somehow beneath a clinician while recovering from trauma simply because they have the degree should never be the experience for any human seeking to get well. Compassion and kindness must always be paired with a high degree of clinical competency in order to avoid harm. The environment or culture that produce these experiences for many seeking mental health care is all too common, and creating a culture where clinicians are held to incredibly high standards to ensure this is not the case is taken seriously at Lifestance. The clinical team aims to empower the client to be actively involved in his/her treatment goals and plan to the degree it is clinically appropriate. The point is that your voice will be heard and taken into account, you will be treated with compassion, and it is understood that there is no rushing through the process of healing. These are foundational principles when restoring a human’s sense of self and confidence after experiencing trauma.

3) Lifestance prioritizes the health of their clinical team. An organization that prioritizes the mental health of their clinical team to ensure they in turn provide the best care for their own clients should just be a given, but that simply is not the case. To create a culture where a clinician has flexibility to do their own self-care/therapeutic work when tragedy strikes or “life be lifing” (they are real people with their own real lives outside of work and own trauma), resources and accountability that they are getting the support they need to do their own work in order to responsibly help
others is key to avoiding unintentional harm to a client; Lifestance prioritizes this.

4) Lifestance takes seriously how heavy a clinician’s assessment, proper documentation, adherence to HIPPA practices, and appropriate treatment plan matters not only in a client’s current circumstance, but also in the unforeseen future. Divorces happen. Custody battles happen. Court happens, and if a clinician gets a diagnosis wrong, does not provide appropriate treatment, or assesses the situation incorrectly and then comes to an inaccurate conclusion, children and parents pay the price, we are seeing that play out as a nation with the Lindsay Clancy trial; we must do better.

I am beyond grateful for my clinical team and the administrative staff that I have had the privilege and honor to work alongside on my own healing journey.

Lifestance has really helped me with coping skills with my anxiety.

My provider was timely, knowledgeable and so compassionate toward my whole health. Scheduling and the portal have been amazingly simple and the staff Inhave interacted with are capable and polite.

My doctor is knowledgeable and is so supportive in my journey. I'm growing as a healthy individual. I've learned coping skill and have tools to get me through life. I felt heard after 5 different therapists over a 12 year period only offered journaling and box breathing. I am finally getting help and feeling normal

If I could give zero stars I would. First of all, the staff never responds back to emails AT ALL. Next, when you try to call to obtain assistance all of the people are on speakerphone and mumble until you have to ask them to speak up or get off speakerphone. I had someone consistently cough in my ear for about 5 minutes straight and never apologize at all.

When I finally was able to talk to my therapist, he spent about 25 minutes with me and then ended the session while charging 300+ dollars. He then double booked me for the next session with someone else...I would have never even known until I called the office and got ahold of someone who was coherent and they told me I was double booked with him... I made one more appointment which he had to change the time in order to take his son somewhere (which was done last minute) and then during the session he just would stare at me and not say anything... stay away from this place!!!!!!!!!

See below- life stance asked me for a review on google in July 2026 and I was going to give a review as above. So then Lifestance finally responded to me on 7/20/26 with the below saying they would look into it and contact me back. Still waiting!

When I called I was able to get connected to the needed provider/service quickly for what I needed and from start to finish getting connected and getting what I was looking for and needed (for therapy and others) was quick, accurate, and efficient! Appreciate all the help by staff, the service, and highly recommend Lifestance to anyone in need!

I love my therapist and the eaze of using the video chat

I called on Monday for a first time appointment and was given an appointment for Tuesday. I had to reschedule the Tuesday appointment and received a bill for a $100.00 cancellation fee. There was not 48 hours from when the appointment was made to cancel or reschedule timely. The staff have been extremely difficult to work with and refuse to remove the bill. Needless to say I am going somewhere else.

The visit to the office was fine. It is the Patient Portal that is a problem. They never look at it and never reply to any thing I have posted. I have posted about changes to medicine and never get an answer. The portal is the pits. The phone response keeps referring you to it but don't use it you will not get an answer. I posted 2 messages on two different days and after 5 days still no answer. I had to call and speak to someone that does care either.

My visit with Casey Lee, NP at LifeStance Health was genuinely encouraging. She came in fully prepared, clearly having read my history. Casey was thoughtful, thorough, and truly present. I left feeling understood, supported, and confident in the plan we made.

It was a positive experience. I feel that my doctor understands my condition.
