DAVIS is the number one licence checking provider in the UK. Anyone that drives on company business needs their licence checked - regardless of how short or infrequent their journeys might be. Our licence checking solution provides instantaneous results direct from the DVLA ensuring your business is compliant. When employees drive their personal vehicles for work, employers are also responsible for checking the vehicle is roadworthy (taxed and MOT’d) and the driver is insured for business use. These essential checks can be automated through DAVIS, eliminating the need to physically check. How confident are you that your drivers are eligible to drive on company business? Are you carrying out checks frequently enough and adjusting the frequency of checks for the drivers that pose increased risk? The importance of checking an employee's eligibility to drive must not be under-estimated. Keeping on top of these checks can be laborious, admin heavy and may create unnecessary reliance on individuals having to manually check. DAVIS, from Licence Check, is an online system that enables you to perform real time and automatic driving licence checks, and vehicle compliance checks to help minimise occupational road risk, in accordance with Duty of Care obligations. DAVIS also offers Fleet management, Grey Fleet management, Driver Coaching and Driver Audits.

Driving Licence checking has never been…
Driving Licence checking has never been easier at Wigan Council since we purchased the Davis system. With workloads demands increasing on a daily basis time is precious. On average the Davis system has approximately saved me 117 hours over the year allowing me to concentrate on other important matters. Back up service and support is only a phone call away and never fails to deliver. I would defiantly recommend this system to any company looking to ensure compliancy across the board. Many thanks

Non-UK driving licences
I like most functions on the system, but it would be very helpful if there would be availability to check Non-UK drivers too.

Odpowiedź od DAVIS | Licence Check
Thank you so much for your review. Unfortunately it is not possible for UK-based licence checking providers to carry out electronic checks on non-GB driving licences as there is no central database to check against. We do however provide a manual checking service for non-GB drivers which checks for convictions issued in the UK. If you'd like to hear more about this service, feel free to drop us a line - 0330 660 7107 or email us support@edavis.co.uk
