Posting a 1 star review for something that was remedied successfully is your prerogative but simply nasty and attempting to make an Australian small biz suffer unreasonably just for your own private justifications. Good luck for those readers who decide to purchase directly from overseas or other suppliers in getting a remedy like what we provided.

For the benefit of other readers, some additional factual context may be helpful. Your Flexiled M2 pad was purchased in early 2025 and used regularly for several months before the first issue with the cable was reported. On assessment, the damage to the external wiring appeared consistent with stress at the point where the cable enters the pad, which is specifically excluded in our terms and conditions as damage caused by handling, not a manufacturing fault.

Despite this, the first repair was carried out ex‑gratia at no charge, well beyond what is typically required when damage arises from how a product has been treated rather than from a failure to meet a consumer guarantee. When the pad was returned a second time, the wiring fault was in a different location on the cable and the pad itself arrived severely folded. Indicating product stress damage rather than an internal design defect present from new.

In light of that, you were offered two heavily discounted options:

A replacement pad at well below cost (approximately one‑third of the normal sale price during a promotional period).

Or, at your request, a second repair with a replacement cable section supplied at a reduced part cost plus return postage.

The replacement cable you received was the same specification as the original but with additional external sleeving protection added as an extra courtesy to help reduce the risk of further stress damage from over-folding or over-bending and or yanking by the electrical cord. This does not mean the original cable was inherently faulty; it reflects an ongoing effort to improve durability in real‑world use, which is standard practice in electrical products.

LEREDD is an Australian‑owned business and takes its obligations under Australian Consumer Law seriously. Where products fail to meet the consumer guarantees, remedies such as repair, replacement or refund are provided; however, the law does not require a free remedy where problems are caused by misuse or by using a product in a way that is inconsistent with care instructions. Over the past three years, thousands of similar pads have been supplied, with overwhelmingly positive feedback and a very low rate of issues of this type, which suggests this case is not representative of typical performance. Your advice to others to "Avoid" is in sharp contrast to the 99+ % who rate our products and service as 5 star.

It is with regret that, even after multiple attempts to resolve this fairly and at significantly reduced cost, you remain dissatisfied and feel that you were blamed or treated unpleasantly. The issue was remedied. In fact you took issue with the staff member handling your claim and sarcastically asked whether she now worked for the KGB after correcting another assertion you had incorrectly made based on dates/times provided. Abusing and being sarcastic towards staff attempting to remedy any issue is not productive nor tolerated. Nonetheless, your feedback about communication tone is taken seriously and will be further reviewed with the team.

Flexiled M2 is a very popular and well priced product and appreciate the nice comments on the product . The ladies accent that you met was Ukrainian and if you return to the shop for further pickups we will ensure that another staff member will assist so that there is no difficulty next time. Would love to nudge that 4 to a 5 stars and hope that you did not deduct a star due to the accent ?
