I would give zero stars if possible. Ordered furniture, it didnt arrive, message from DPD saying it was delayed and then tracking showed items as returned to depot before any delivery was attempted.... Zobacz więcej

Sofa Bed unfit for the purpose of sleeping on!

We ordered a sofa bed online from Laura James in July 2025 ( legs did not arrive until Sept ) It was fine used as a sofa and bought mainly to provide a more comfortable nights sleep for visiting family and friends.
The first time it was used as a bed was Christmas holidays '25. My daughter ended up sleeping downstairs on the lounge settee as she could feel the bed base "digging in" through the mattress, also the bed sloped downwards. As these faults were not evident until someone tried to sleep on it....we are outside the time frame allowed to return or to report the fault for a refund. Photos were taken of the faults but Laura James manufacturers replied that it is not faulty ( without looking at it ) The bed element of this sofa bed is not fit for the purpose of sleeping on it!!! It would be more comfortable sleeping on mattress on the floor than this!!
It did look nice and we bought it because it appeared easy to convert into a bed!! It is no use being easy to put up if the actual bed is causing pain and discomfort when anyone actually tries to sleep on it.

I ordered a wardrobe with Laura James…


I ordered a wardrobe with Laura James in October. Today, 30/12, still haven’t received the wardrobe and Laura James refuses to refund until their delivery company confirms cancellation. I have received a confirmation email from the delivery company confirming cancellation and have forwarded this to Laura James. Their customer service is appallingly bad. I have sent over 25 emails now. I have initiated a refund through my bank as a result. Be very aware of them, very unhelpful when issues arise and completely unacceptable to refuse a refund when 3 months later I still haven’t seen my order.

Very rude

Very rude. Bough a tv cabinet on 28th Nov. Never received. They confirmed they received money. Order was active on shopify. But wouldn’t send out the order because they an IT problem which they could not solve for weeks. Stay away if possible

Ordered 25th Nov no communciation after…

Ordered 25th Nov no communciation after order for three weeks, I rang twice and eventually was told that there was a mix up with dispatch and they would contact courier and get back to me in 24 hours - 48 hours later no contact again - I just rang and even though their website says open until 5pm their message says until 4 pm... this company should not be selling to Ireland if they can not deliver to Ireland

Waiting almost 3 months for delivery of…

Waiting almost 3 months for delivery of console table. . 4 different dates given and no explanation why delayed.
Terrible service, and I would not recommend this company.
Getting stuff from Ali express or temu and there is clear tracking available. Laura James could learn from them.
Console table is lovely but took over three hours to assemble.

Also you can use Klarna which is great to spread the cost. Will be ordering from them again

Ordered bookcase in September

Ordered bookcase in September. I have half of it!
Constant delays with delivery and little communication. Also received a mirror, which has dents at the top. I contacted them and said they could not replace it as I'd not got the original box.I admit that this was my fault ,but I received absolutely no compensation as a good will gesture ,as I've bought quite a lot of things from there.

Unknown delivery issue, great customer support

I ordered the Iliana tv unit. After about 2 weeks with no sign of it arriving and the tracking information not updated, I contacted Valencia in customer service. She advised that my item had been returned to sender and will arrange for the item to be resent. It arrived 4 days later. Valencia was so pleasant and helpful to deal with. Docking one star for the unit being returned to sender without updated tracking information and no attempt to deliver. I wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t made contact?

6 months for replacement parts to be delivered

I bought a wardrobe back in April. To begin with the delivery was delayed. I did receive the cost of the delivery back from them. When it finally arrived the wardrobe was damaged on the bottom and the leg. It took 5 months, endless emails and many promises of delivery which never turned up for the replacement products to arrive. The replacement they sent was also damaged. It was another month before the a new one arrived. I asked for a refund and to send the wardrobe back multiple times and was offered £30. I received an automated emailing saying I had 3 days to accept the £30 otherwise they would close the compliant as that was the managements final offer.
Utterly appalling service and very poor quality. Avoid

The automated email you received was triggered because we hadn’t received a response within the system’s timeframe—it was not intended to suggest that you were required to accept the £30 offer.

To date, we have issued a total of £50 in partial refunds and ensured you received the necessary spare parts.
