I really have no complaints.

I bought the low-end laptop and can not recommend.

Maybe it's my own fault for not spending more money on a laptop, but it gets extremely hot no matter how few tasks I perform, and in video meetings or other demanding tasks it occasionally freezes and can only be force booted.

The hibernation doesn't work when traveling. It always turns on when I have carried it in my bag. Also, the design is poor and poorly customized. E.g. the F-buttons a set to that per default and not to their shortcuts which is what you use 99% of the time - and it cannot be changed according to support.

Talking to support was promising at first, they responded and said a bios update for the Fn issue was on the way. But here, two years after and after asking for updates several times, it hasn't appeared yet.
It seems this is a company that don't understand how to care for their product but merely try to sell computers with their Linux-oriented concept.

Very disappointing.

Heb hem met Debian 12 geinstalleerd dit draait nu als een tierelier met oa. virt-manmager met een viertal vm's.

Excellent product, excellent service

Uitstekende laptop (GX5), snel geleverd, scherpe prijs. Keuzevrijheid is fijn: kon zelfs SSD en geheugen wat ik nog had weglaten. En zonder Windows (wat ik toch niet gebruik) scheelt ook weer in de prijs.

Apparaat werkt prima, goede performance. Geen obscure wifi-module oid., maar gangbare Intel module waardoor Ubuntu 24.04 zonder enig probleem installeert. Superlicht apparaat en build quality is heel netjes. Zeer tevreden.

I liked the very convenient on-line configuration and the fast delivery. The hardware looks good, it was ready to use and has been running well since then. I can only recommend laptopwithlinux.

Simply, they do what they promise. Good machines, properly configured, delivered promptly. No messing. I won't need to install Linux on a Windows machine ever again (I hope).
I have had two now, a laptop and a mini (which really is the best desktop I've ever had - I do a lot of mapping work and it truly flies).

Twee weken geleden heb ik een Clevo laptop besteld, 16Gb intern geheugen, 7i en terrabyte ssd.
De laptop werkt voor mij goed en snel. Ik moet Kubuntu 24 nog wat beter leren kennen, maar het gaat goed.
De service was goed, de laptop kwam in een 3 dubbele doos. Als Black Friday voordeel kreeg ik een 2 jaar VPN cadeau. Super Thx

I returned the purchased laptop because it did not include a Wi-Fi adapter (which was requested). The commucation happened with delays. Of course, mistakes can happen but they do not result in good customer experience.

Contacted the support team two or three times by email and they were very helpful indeed and did not take too long to reply. I also made enquiries about the origin of the parts used and again I received a helpful reply. The laptop is a very comfortable piece of kit and I am enjoying my first delve into the Linux world.

My laptop was quickly sent and arrived in good condition, and was installed according to my instructions on the order page. My Tongfang GX5 15.3 inch with AMD processor is a fine laptop. Under Ubuntu 24.04 everything seems to work, including the function keys for sound volume and screen lighting. I used it's 2nd M.2 slot to insert the storage from my earlier laptop for easy access. The laptop backside opened easily by unscrewing for such access.

My order was completed correctly and with little delay. All seems to be working well although at first sight the battery life doesn't look too great.

Also really pleased with the laptop performance, and Ubuntu is easier than expected, in fact it's MUCH better than Windows! I should have switched years ago.

this was a preorder purchase, and while it took them a couple of working days to get back to my 1st message, afterwards it was not only fast response but they even kindly let me know when the item was coming in stock before i had even asked.

this was an unusual purchase for me as normally i buy tech without any rush but this time i needed a laptop ASAP, yesterday if possible. so the gesture of being informative proactively after understanding there was rush was immensely appreciated.

after having stock they shipped the item quick, within 2 working days it was already coming my way in the shipping company's hands.

packaging was sufficient in terms of protection. would have been hard to damage the laptop in transit, within reason.

i am extremely happy with the device itself, got a TongFang G5x. i was already very familiar with clevos but not this brand. usually i get workstations, this is a thin capable machine but only for work where i don't need a gpu, and instead appreciate other features.

i love the amount of config options given at purchase, and the fact this laptop has a very small footprint but almost full keyboard. the "Home"/"End" keys, numpad, etc really boost productivity, and key placement is also great. overlooked detail these days.
the device has AMD's latest top end mobile CPU, battery lasts 6-8h without much worry about savings, for my kind of work (coding and web usage, etc)

sound is good. better is the screen, i really was seeking a resolution over 1080p to aid productivity so the 2560x1600 is exactly in line with desires.

the metal body is a nice detail for resilience, and the design is very attractive, not quite "gamer" tacky nor too boring office style.

number of ports, types and placement location is simply brilliant. wouldn't change a thing. one of the few laptops sold these days that still have an ethernet cable port.

i was hoping for a smaller charger but it's not massive by any means and i can of course, just buy a smaller one on my own if need be.

was very easy to add RAM on my own, do i did cause some damage to the lower shell due to not knowing how to properly open it, and it being very insistent on remaining on the device even after all screws were taken. my bad, and nice to see the lower shell is well secured. wish it was a tad easier to open, but as this is something we probably only do once or twice a decade, not very significant.

have i mentioned how happy i am with the device and the store's performance?
