Purchased an 18yr old whisky, fast delivery . However it came without the engraving. Try making a complaint! After trying several times to fill in the form. Engraving now to late.

They consistently send me marketing and competition emails like their current Willem promotion where they don’t actually work initially I put in I live in the U.K. then the next screen where are you based no U.K. option. Love the whiskey put there marketing/ offers are rubbish. Will be unsubscribing and maybe changing to another tipple heard hawksmore is very good.

Ignored regarding FTA documents - Costing me 120,000 KRW extra tax (Order #6000017534)

Do not buy from here if you are an international customer. They provided an incomplete invoice for my order (#6000017534), which resulted in a massive tax penalty in South Korea.

Despite reaching out several times, the support team is SILENT. Their lack of cooperation is costing me money and time. I demand a corrected invoice with the mandatory Korea-UK FTA origin statement. Stop ignoring your customers!

Bestellt hatte ich das "Cairdeas 2024 & Carideas 2025 Set" für 150€ inkl. Versand. Eine Woche später wird die Bestellung storniert, weil es zu viele Bestellungen gäbe. Kann passieren. Wieder ein paar Tage später dann doch die Nachricht, es wären doch genügend Flaschen vorhanden, wenn ich nochmal bestellen würde, erhalte ich 15% Rabatt. Gesagt, getan, eine Woche später waren die beiden Flaschen bei mir. Fairer Umgang mit dem Kunden, gerne wieder.

Bought a bottle of Cairdeas 2025 from Laprhaoig.com, arrived next day - nice packaging and a very tasty wee drop.

The whisky is great, but don't buy their glasses if you use a dishwasher. Within a year all mine became cloudy, whereas all my Brewdog ones are still pristine after 5 to 10 years. Laphroaig blame it on hard water, ignoring the fact that in the Vale of Glamorgan we have soft water. Their customer service is atrocious.

I was about to place an order for a bottle. I payed on paypal and soon after the page recharged I saw the message that the bottle was not available anymore so I should remove it from my shopping cart. Yes, but....... the money already left my account. I tried to contact customer service, I received an answer two days after saying that there were technical issues and that's it. More than one week waiting now, my order hasn't even been created on their side and no answer, no apology, no nothing from them! I feel scammed!!! How is this possible that an enterprise like Laphroaig and Beam Suntory does something like that? Really awful customer service, the worst I've ever encountered in my life.

Really poor customer support. I've been following up Seonaid for an answer for the past week, and haven't received any acknowledgement whatsoever. That's without even mentioning the cloudy, borderline undrinkable bottle of whisky I have from them. Not good at all.

Jeg besøgte Laphroaig destilleriet i april 2022. Som “Friend of Laphroaig” havde jeg store forventninger, og glædede mig til at komme og plante mit flag, og skrive mig ind i deres bøger (som jeg ved man gør/har gjort).
Ved vores ankomst henvendte vi os ved en medarbejder og oplyste, at vi var Friend of Laphroaig og gerne ville sætte vores flag på deres markarealer hvor disse står. Vi fik en liste, hvor vi kunne gå ind og se vores “plot/lokation”. Samtidig fik vi udleveret en 5 cl Laphroaig 10 års whisky. De virkede ret ligeglade med os, og de havde ikke den store interesse i at gøre noget som helst ud af at man var “Friend of Laphroaig”. Da vi kom til markarealerne så det ærlig talt noget misligholdt ud, og det bar præg af den ligegyldighed de havde ved vores henvendelse. En noget trist oplevelse af det destilleri jeg havde satset meget på. Deres whisky var dog gode. Vi havde en kort rundvisning, som var nogenlunde ok. Sammenlignet med de andre destillerier vi lige havde besøgt - følte vi os ikke særligt velkomne hos Laphroaig

Laphroaig.com is back! I ordered a bottle of whisky, it was despatched the next working day and arrived the day after. They had had a notice on their website explaining that they were going to open a UK warehouse to fix their BREXIT issues, I ordered in October 2021 and it was sent from Bristol to my home in Yorkshire without any problems. Delivery charge was very reasonable at £6 and no minimum order. I like the cask strength festival whiskies and they've got stock of last year's bottling in their UK warehouse. I'll be buying again if it's this easy.

We purchased a bottle of Laphroaig 10 year old whisky
on opening the bottle and pouring a dram I could not believe the smell and the taste it tasted of a OLD CAR tyre (Dunlop or Nexen) not to sure I think it may make a good oven cleaner.

So, after a disappointing start to an order I made in January which didn’t arrive until April Laphroaig have redeemed themselves. Thank you for the gift to make up somewhat for the poor service. Only 3 stars because I still can’t figure out how Laphroaig didn’t see BREXIT coming or anticipate some of the issues that caused their problems. Hopefully they’ve learned their lesson!

Just an update, as of May 2021 Laphroaig website and customer service has only got worse. I have over1200 points that I cannot use on their site at all now and no-one who seems capable of fixing this.

If I could give this no stars I would.

I have been waiting for over two months for a delivery of whisky that was supposed to be "in Stock" at the time of ordering. I have e mailed and rung on more than one occasion. to no avail.

Their customer service is absolutely awful.

Laphroig have blamed Brexit and difficulties with their distribution process via Germany. Brexit hardly came as a surprise, even on a remote Scottish island, you would have to have been buried in the peat bog to have missed it. Which is probably where their customer service department is located.

Best Whisky on the market.
Worst online experience on the market.

If they sort out the mess that the website is in, then they should be fine. Until then, do not buy online.

What is going on at Laphroiag? Customer service is absolutely awful at answering enquiries about orders. Ordered a bottle in early February, but no delivery yet, nearly 4 weeks later. No information on their website about delivery issues they are experiencing due to BREXIT. Had to read about them by searching online. What kind of Mickey Mouse company can this be? Surely someone in this multi-million pound company must have realised that there was going to be a problem?
Can't see me sticking to this brand anymore. As someone else has said; there are good smoky malt whiskeys out there!

I will, in future, avoid using or recommending Laphroaig's on-line store. Order placed by son just after Christmas 2020 and still no sign of delivery (19th February 2021). No real customer support, just a load of buck-passing. There are other smokey/peaty brands, Buy those instead. Laphroaig don't deserve your custom.

My experience of purchasing from the online shop has been terrible. Product took a number of weeks to be dispatched, and eventually was so but from Germany. I was then notified of a £100+ customs charge that apparently was payable. I was informed by Laphroaig that this was an error and they would resolve but over a week later and multiple emails still no joy. I have asked for a refund but told this is not possible which I dispute. Difficult to contact, no phone and slow email response. Very disappointing.

Update: After a month of trying, all communication has now ceased. I am having to pursue a refund through Visa Chargeback. I would never buy from Laphroig again

Great whisky, dreadful website and customer service. Happy to accept payment for whisky that they then tell me 2 weeks later is not in stock and may be another 2 weeks. And I only found that out by complaining. A fine example of how to mess up your brand by employing a faceless, nameless, internationally centralised customer service function. Poor, and they have the cheek to pretend you're a "Friend"
