We recently moved into a new house at Ravenswood Reach and wanted to share the excellent experience we’ve had.

From the first viewing, through all the organisation leading up to our move and even now after moving in, we’ve been extremely impressed with the service. Sam from the sales office has been wonderful. Always informative, very knowledgeable and great at keeping us updated while we were waiting to move in. She made us feel supported throughout, especially when we wanted to understand what was happening. She is friendly, welcoming and a real credit to the team. Thank you as well to Sharon, who helped us in the last few weeks prior to our move. Between them, they made what could have been an incredibly stressful time so much easier.

Not only has the buying process been a great experience, but we’ve also been very happy with the aftercare since moving in. Simon, one of the site managers, has been so proactive in helping us deal with snags. He has organised everything efficiently and the small issues we’ve had, have been fixed almost immediately.

We would recommend Lagan Homes to anyone considering buying a new property. Thank you again to the whole team for your support and for making the move into our new home such a smooth and positive experience 😃

Moved to the new Ratby site back in March of last year, my son also bought a property on the estate too! and now my grandson with his son buying too! sales/site/after service been excellent all the way through. 100% recommend.

Lagan Homes cancelled my reservation and did not return all fees associated with the reservation process.
At the time, I was told that I would be able to reserve the same plot again shortly; however, after waiting around one year and repeatedly approaching the company to re-reserve the plot, the price was increased by £15,000. This resulted in a sudden and material increase in the asking price, meaning that the custom-build plot which was originally the cheapest became the most expensive, with no clear justification provided.
Because I relied on these assurances, my family missed multiple opportunities to purchase other properties during a period when market conditions were more favourable, and in total we waited approximately 18 months for this property.
During this time, the plot remained advertised on Lagan Homes’ website for over a year as “ready to reserve”, yet when I attempted to proceed with the reservation, I was not permitted to do so.
The Sales Director I dealt with was AR.
I subsequently raised a formal complaint, which was acknowledged but not substantively responded to, despite the company’s complaints procedure stating that a response should be issued within 20 working days; it has now been over four months with no communication.
As a result, I am now issuing a Small Claims Court claim to recover the money owed.
The complaint procedure was handled by SR and MW.

The quality of workmanship and finishing is exceptional, and the entire process has been remarkably smooth.
Although there was some pressure to finalise everything before Christmas; Jeff, Ollie and the rest of the team worked diligently to ensure we met that goal, and we are delighted to have reached this milestone.

His thoroughness and commitment to finding answers (if he didn’t already have them) made a significant difference, and he consistently went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. Unbelievably rude! We had made an appointment to view the Brackley properties at 1 o’clock on a Saturday.

My husband and I were looking for a large retirement home (cash purchase) and my daughter and her family for a three or four bed (mortgage pre approved), so we were there potentially to buy 2 medium to large houses, if we liked what we saw.

We had not even got inside the door of the marketing suite when the man behind the desk said “what are all these people doing here? We can only have two people at a time“.

If this is the case then why was it not specified when the appointment was made (which would have saved us time and travel costs)?

It couldn’t have been more different to David Wilson Homes and Dorchester Living, whose properties we recently viewed - they were welcoming and eager to show us round, even without knowing we wanted 2 houses.

Needless to say we relieved Lagan of our unwelcome million-pound-plus purchasing intentions and will NEVER go anywhere near one of their developments again.

We will never know whether we would have liked what we saw because we didn’t even get that far. Quite extraordinary behaviour and deeply upsetting.

I do not usually write reviews but we have been so impressed with the service that we had from our sales negotiator Sam. From the first time we enquired about our purchasing our home to completion, she has been outstanding. She explained everything in such great detail and took her time to ensure that everything ran smoothly. We can not thank her enough. Buying a home is always stressful but she literally went above and beyond to help us through the process. A huge thank you goes out to Sam who is a huge credit to Lagan homes.

We have recently moved into a Lagan Home in Willow Grove,Pickford Green. Being my first new build I can honestly say the experience was made easier by Louise and site manager, Jason. Both lovely and extremely helpful and will always do what they say they are going to do and put your needs first. Always on hand to answer any queries you may have - no matter how small or silly they might sound. The actual buying process was very smooth. Louise was there every step of the way and could be called on at anytime and made the whole process as stressfree as she could. Since moving in Jason has been lovely. Checking in.making sure everything is OK and that I'm happy with everything. Always visible so you know if you do need anything you can get to him straight away. He is very professional,very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Overall lovely house and a great team. Highly recommend.

I have just moved into a house in Willow Grove/Pickford Gate. I can honestly say it has been so easy. Louise was my 1st exposure to the area. She was lovely, very helpful and not at all dismissive like some other companies were. I really liked the fact she didnt push the sale. She made sure I took the time to think about things before I committed. A huge selling point for me. The actual buying process was smooth. I used their recommended mortgage company and it was easy. So helpful. Going back to Louise after the mortgage etc was sorted, she was so helpful in choosing colours etc. Even with my indecisiveness there was never any pushing or her getting fed up. I felt so at ease with her.
Since moving in Louise and Jason the site manager have been lovely. Checking up, making sure things are okay. Night and day to my previous new build purchase. And special shout out to Ava....just dont expect to get any work done when there is a game of fetch waiting for you!!!
Overall, lovely house, lovely team. Highly recommend.

Having recently bought a Lagan Home at Pickford Green I'd simply like to say a huge thank you to Louise & the team for a most enjoyable experience. This is my 5th new build & the quality & finish is of a very high standard, one or two snags but being resolved. Louise has been excellent throughout, wonderful knowledge & professionalism and a credit to Lagan Homes, thank you.

Sam went the extra mile at every step, maintaining constant contact and ensuring we felt informed and confident. Her thoughtful, friendly and attentive approach made the process smooth and reassuring. We are moving in this Wednesday and couldn’t be more excited, all thanks to Sam’s exceptional dedication. I really wanted to give 5 stars, but I have to give 3 due to my disappointment with several key issues. I might update my review if my experience improves, but this is my honest feedback so far.

When deciding to buy, we saw the show home and understood it wouldn’t reflect every detail of other houses, especially since not all models were available. We relied on the floor plans, layout, and the information provided by the agent to know if our house would have one or two garage spaces at the front, and whether there would be a divider between neighbors — either a wall or plants.

However, when we received the keys, the house didn’t come with the plant divider as shown. Having a shared front area with a neighbor is very frustrating, especially since we have a dog.

Another issue: we paid an extra €5,000 to change our house because the first available unit had only one garage space at the front, but we needed two. We later found out that some houses originally shown as one-car garages actually had two — very disappointing.

Other problems include minimal landscaping, almost no trees and poor-quality finishes( lot of plants came dead already), weak external lighting, uneven streets with puddles when it rains, and no proper entrance sign for the estate.

For now, this is my experience and frustration. I hope to update my review positively as the project progresses and more issues are addressed.

Moved into our new home in Pickford Green in July. Louise has been so helpful and nothing was never too much trouble. She was always welcoming when we wanted to visit for progress on our new home and even since moving in both Louise and the builders have been helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

I have recently moved into my home at Lagan Homes in Pickford Green - Louise has been great and very understanding despite many delays and issues with my buyer!

Definitely would recommend them and the finish is fantastic.

The builders and site manager are also all so lovely and helpful - especially Ava in her high viz!

We recently exchanged on our beautiful new home at Ravens wood Reach. Sam was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. My husband has cancer so we were a little worried it would be too stressful but Sam went above and beyond to ensure the whole process was stress free. We recently bought our new home at Willow Grove, and our experience was made all the more positive thanks to Louise. From the very first time we met her, her friendliness and genuine interest in us stood out. We had looked at other developments in the area, but many felt dismissive and impersonal. Louise, however, took the time to get to know us, understand our needs, and guide us through the process with patience and care.

She was extremely helpful in advising us when making the Choices on our home - both highlighting upgrades and helping us to pick extras such as additional outside lighting to suit our lifestyle (2 dogs).

Initially, we had been considering a smaller property, but Louise suggested the Hollyberry – and she couldn’t have been more right. It’s been the perfect fit for us.

From when we purchased to the legal elements, Louise was proactive throughout. She kept us informed throughout the whole house buying process. She went above and beyond, even chasing up solicitors to make sure the move progressed smoothly. Her professionalism, knowledge, and personal touch made the whole journey so much easier and more enjoyable.

We’re so grateful for her support and can’t recommend Louise highly enough.

Overall we are extremely impressed with the experience at Lagan Homes. The house is beautiful and the quality of materials used is excellent. We are excited to start our new life in our new home!

As first-time buyers, me and my fiancé couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Lagan Homes, and that’s largely thanks to Louise, the sales advisor. From start to finish, she made the whole process so seamless and stress-free, guiding us every step of the way with genuine care and professionalism. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and confident with our purchase, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us through such an important milestone in our lives.

We did encounter a flooring issue before moving in, but it was dealt with promptly and smoothly, which gave us extra peace of mind. The site managers, Jason and Dan, have also been brilliant – very hands-on, approachable, and always willing to help.

Overall, our experience has been fantastic, and we’re so grateful to Louise making our first home-buying journey such a positive one. Highly recommended!

I Bought my first home with Lagan back in June this year, sales team and site managers have been very proactive, friendly and helpful right from the start, and continue to be to this day! At one point I discovered a leak in the hallway ceiling and alerted the site managers to this, they had someone round to fix it the next day free of charge. Lagan also offer very good first time buyer incentives, would recommend!

Standard of construction very satisfactory. Sam was excellent before and after occupying bungalow.
Only downside was delay in completion & occupation. All in all very happy.

We have reserved the Wedderburn plot in Ravenshead, and have been extremely impressed with how Sam and the team have helped us in this process from the very beginning. Whenever I call to arrange a visit to measure up for furniture, or check on progress, nothing is too much trouble. The decision to purchase a house from this developer has been simplified through honest, open and professional conversations throughout. Looking forwards to moving into our brand new home.
