I like just about everyone else here was ripped off. I wish I had seen this site before hand. Ordered an xbl 12 month and was sent a link in an email. Downloaded the txt file that said I would receive another email with my code but received nothing after 2 weeks. People need to get this site shut down ASAP before it claims another victim.

On November 9th, 2013 I paid for a Total War: Rome 2 game activation key from Kumbaso.com. I received the activation Email but instead of the key I got a download that said thank you. I few minutes later I received a second Email with a confirmation of purchase and a download file that stated I would receive my game key within 15 minutes but if it was not in stock I would get the key within, "24 to 72 business hours". This was not stated on the website.
After sending numerous emails, with no response, I received my game on November 17th. The game works fine.
The eight day wait is worth a 30% discount. This would have been a 5 star rating if I'd gotten some communication from the seller.

Purchased a game over a month ago and the code arrived in a few hours. Feeling as many here that this website was the goods, I purchased another and can now confirm the views of the majority here who feel scammed. No response to my many emails and just that feeling that some guy is sitting back having a good laugh at taking us for a ride! I have my doubts the positive reviews are all legitimate (some probably are - can't believe this guy is responsive via email as some claim), but I'm convinced all the negative reviews are - kumbaso is a risk not worth taking!

Interesting that the guy below bought the same game days ago and managed to get his yet I'm still waiting, definitely a scam or exceedingly bad management.

Ordered a cd key on 10th November. Got email instructions with how to download game. Clicked link in email but no download, just a thank you text file with note saying game file will be emailed up to 72 hours. Thursday arrives and still nothing so emailed kumbaso support to ask them if I don't receive cd key by end of the day then I will ask for refund. 2 days later so I ask for refund within 5 working days. If I don't hear anything I will get my refund via visa.
Update: After a week of nothing I have received the code.

Deceptive offer promised a box code to unlock game on Steam. Instead of receiving code upon purchase, received multiple (automated) emails over course of several days promising code would be sent later. After several days, contacted vendor to cancel order, vendor then responded (in person), providing game as a Steam gift instead. At that point (about a week after initial purchase), I had no longer a need for a code or the game, so requested order still be cancelled and amount refunded. Radio silence since. Will need to go through hassle and file fraud report with credit card processor to force a charge back.
Not worth it. Stay away from kumbaso.com.

ordered a 12 month xbox live code from kumbaso before reading these reviews. immediately became worried but after a few emails to kumbaso support, i got my xbox live code and it works no problems.

the service may be a bit slow but the prices are low and i did get what i paid for so no complaints here.

Grabbed the Civ V: Brave New World DLC, started reading some reviews AFTER having bought it, and freaked out. I just followed the instructions sent to me via e-mail, and the guys there even replied to my e-mails I sent back. Took ~30 mins total from start to finish and I got my DLC via e-mail. Very happy, would recommend.

No game code, no communication, and I have no idea how to go about getting my money back; STAY AWAY!

I must admit it all seemed to good to be true. I found an xbox live 12 months code for £7 cheaper than retail...surely there must be a catch?? Well I read the reviews and must admit I panicked BIG TIME...but after about 48 hours and a couple of messages I received it. My only criticism is the ability to contact someone is not available...otherwise great service.

I would shop here again!!! BE PATIENT and you'll get your goods.

I bought this key for Sim City 2013 today and received the as i now know famous notepad message to open, saying thank you and nothing esle.
Then i download how to change language from Russian to English should you ever receive the code for this game and another saying if you don't see a code for the game then it will be sent to you later, yet again!.

What really pisses me off is this is all that is on the webpage for me product...

NO MENTION of this key waiting time or that it would be a wait to get what i ordered, how the hell can you take money for something you don't even own? and false advertise on the page, as if its a simple buy and its yours, when its not!.

I've emailed twice today and have said if i don't receive money back or code by end of business tomorrow i will be pursuing claim back with capital one fraud, don't advertise for something that you do no have possession at time of taking monies from people! and tell people that there is a wait on the Sim City page.

Never again will i fall for this rubbish.

I did shat my self when i looked at this site after you lot was saying that u got ripped off but after some emails i got the code so im happy in the end.
SO YES YOU DO GET YOUR CODES BUT THEY TAKE A BIT OF TIME!

I wish I found this website earlier. My story is the same as all people under. Thank you txt files and no code. I want my refund and will spread the word within my friends.

Ordered on the 13th October and still waiting for Xbox live gold 12 mth code. I've tried numerous messages but NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. My 12 yo is devastated as it is his money that was used to make the purchase. I've requested refund but surprise no response to that either. Stay away from this dodgy company as they will rip you off.

Ordered Xbox Live Gold 12 Month membership on 10-11-2013, received an automatic email that code would arrive within 72 hours. Two weeks and four emails to them later I still have heard nothing. Same problem as everyone else has had with this horrible company. Wish I had come here first to read these reviews, lesson learned the hard way. STAY AWAY FROM KUMBASO.COM!!!!!

Made the huge mistake of trusting this company but all i seem to have in return for my £25 is a .txt file saying thank you.

No responses to my emails at all.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

On Saturday 12th October I paid for an Xbox Live 12 month subscription. I had an email telling me I may have to wait for up to 72 hours. Not impressed as if the product had not been in stock and not instantly ready to be sent by email, I'd have used another site.

As it happens, this has proved to be the least of my problems. I am still waiting for the code. I have sent 4 emails to these jokers and the only reason I had a response was due to the fact, in my fourth email I sent them a facebook group page I had set up - stating facts. No response from the three emails prior.

I would say Kumbaso should not be trading, but that would suggest (by using the term trade) there has been an exchange of money / services or goods.

Up to this point, it just appears I have been ripped off. Paid money - no goods.

I found this site after looking around for xbox gold live membership options. this one seemed to offer the best deal for the value of money. i bought a membership back on the 13th, only to be sent two emails - thanking me for my purchase and then the next email i got was this - "If your code doesn't show up on this page, that means your code will be added later and you will get a new email with the code. Thank you.".

money was taken out from my account - so l checked to see if i had been msged back after l wrote to them asking if l could please have my membership code. I still havent heard anything. I'm not very happy considering l bought this a week ago and now my membership expires in a couple of days.

I ordered the game key for Bioshock Infinity. I received an email saying I would get a key within 15 minutes if in stock or within 72 hours if out of stock. After 72 hours I emailed to ask what was happening. No reply. I accessed their web site to find that my order has been marked as "completed" when al I have received is the text file described above.

Now a full week after I placed the order and still nothing. Should I report them to the Police for fraud?

I purchased The Sims 3 on 10/5/13 - no response to my email about the code. After getting frustrated without anything, I went ahead and purchased direct through EA - I immediately put in a refund on 10/6, still no response or refund. I have contacted my credit card company and am working on a formal disputed charge with them to get my money back.

Extremely unhappy customer. You are better off paying the extra money direct through the games creator/producers -

I ordered Anno 2070 on the 6th of October and was told I would get my key within 72 hours if it wasn't in the next email. I messaged and posted on their facebook page with no reply to either. I am very disappointed with this service but still awaiting my game key.

Edit: A couple of minutes after I posted this review my key came through. I guess they only do something about it once you complain in public!
