Contrary to some negative impressions of double glazing companies, our experience with Kent & Sussex has been entirely positive from initial contact, through survey, to installation. We have been kept informed throughout of any changes. The actual fitting was carried out by punctual, friendly, and highly professional staff who went the extra mile to ensure that all went well.
We are very pleased with the end result.

Booked in for a measure up appointment, my partner leaving his business early to come home as i was told on the phone we both need to be home, and they never arrived. No call or message to say why, just didn’t bother to turn up. I called and messaged but didn’t hear anything back.

Thank you to John and Dave for fitting our windows and doors on three of the hottest days of the year. They worked tirelessly and were also friendly and courteous. Their workmanship is excellent and I will happily recommend Kent & Sussex.

The men that came to my property Dean and Blake we absolute stars very polite cleaned up afterwards done a great job to the fact I requested them to return to replace a window a different fitter and installed and finished incorrectly.

Found a crack where windows had been mortared in. I eventually managed to get a response and spoke on the phone to a man who had looked at the photo I emailed in. He acknowledged it was obviously from the install. He said he would start a job for it and someone would call next week. No call received no response to further contact. Very disappointed and will have to see if the warranty is worth the paper it is written on.

Had all my windows and doors replaced, Extremely happy with it. They left it clean and tidy afterwards and the office staff were brilliant. Highly Recommend! :)

We appointed Kent & Sussex Home Improvements to undertake a conservatory roof replacement project worth a significant sum. Unfortunately, what should have been an exciting investment in our home became an exhausting experience characterised by poor communication, repeated mistakes, damage to our property, delays and an apparent lack of ownership from beginning to end.

The biggest issue throughout the project has been communication. It has been consistently poor. We have repeatedly had to chase for updates, promises have gone unfulfilled, and there has been little proactive contact to explain what was happening or when problems would be resolved. Rather than feeling like valued customers, we felt as though we were managing the project ourselves.

The project has been beset by avoidable errors. Parts failed to arrive, incorrect components were supplied, return visits became the norm, and every time it appeared we were nearing completion another issue emerged.

Perhaps most frustrating was the apparent lack of care taken whilst working in our home. During the installation, alarm components were broken and then thrown away, leaving the alarm system incomplete. Despite this damage being caused during the works, replacement parts were not readily available, resulting in further delays and, even now, the alarm system still cannot be armed.

We also specifically pointed out that our floor tiles would be extremely difficult to replace if damaged and asked that they be protected with timber boards before work commenced. That request was ignored. The tiles were not protected and they were subsequently broken.

Throughout the works, an incredible amount of mess was created, with very little apparent concern shown for cleaning up properly or making good after the installation. For a premium home improvement project, the standard of care shown towards our property fell well below what we expected.

Among the many issues we have experienced are:

* Appalling communication throughout the project.
* Repeated delays caused by poor organisation.
* Alarm components being broken during the installation and then discarded.
* Long delays obtaining replacement alarm parts.
* The alarm installation remaining incomplete.
* The house alarm still cannot be armed.
* Floor tiles being damaged after our specific request to protect them was ignored.
* Replacement parts repeatedly failing to arrive when promised.
* Multiple return visits required to rectify avoidable mistakes.
* The extractor fan being left disconnected following the conservatory roof works.
* Numerous incomplete and defective items requiring further remedial work.
* A significant amount of mess being left during the works, with little care taken to clean up or make good.
* Constant chasing on our part simply to obtain updates or arrange attendance.
* A complete lack of ownership over resolving the outstanding issues.

The after-sales service has been just as disappointing as the installation itself. Instead of taking responsibility and driving the project through to completion, we have continued to experience delays, excuses and poor communication.

In an effort to resolve matters amicably, I wrote directly to the Managing Director asking him to become involved, meet with us and discuss appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and disruption we have experienced. That email has not even been acknowledged, let alone replied to.

At the time of writing, the work remains incomplete. The alarm system is still unusable because it cannot be armed, outstanding defects remain unresolved, and we have received no response whatsoever from the Managing Director despite giving the company every opportunity to put matters right.

No company gets everything right, and we appreciate that mistakes can happen. However, customers judge a business by how those mistakes are handled. In our experience, Kent & Sussex Home Improvements have failed badly in that respect. The combination of poor communication, repeated avoidable mistakes, damage to our property, failure to complete the work, an unusable alarm system and a complete lack of response from senior management has left us with very little confidence in the company.

Regrettably, based on our experience, we cannot recommend Kent & Sussex Home Improvements.

We have now been threatened with legal action by the owners Rab & Nasir, despite the fact that the job remains incomplete and they are in breach of contract.

Had my windows fitted this week, they look amazing, make the house look better and more modern. The house is a lot brighter, the quality of the windows are great and have features I was not aware they would come with which is a bonus.
The team that fitted the windows were great, 3 gentlemen, they were really friendly and chatty throughout the day, had 8 windows fitted which we were informed may take 2 days, but they got it done in the 1 day which was great. They were clean and tidy and respected the property even helping with a dropped door that they noticed which was great.
Couldn't recommend the company or the window fitters more.

Arrived on time, friendly and professional. Explained process and estimated duration. Work carried out to a high standard very helpful in explaining the locking mechanism.
The area was left clean and tidy after work completed.
The bill and warranty was explained and concluded in a clear manner.

Would like to put my enormous thanks out to our fitters Joe and mark. Boiling heat and a decent size job yet were polite, professional, a good laugh and left my home just how they found it. Lovely pair of blokes and my windows look amazing.

Can’t fault this company at all. From the very first phone call with Thomas mason to our fitters mark and Joe we are over the moon. Mark and Joe worked two days in 32 degree heat and didn’t complain once! They was here bang on time both days. They were polite, friendly, a good laugh and did extra tweaks to our bifold door such as fitting our camera wire for us with no hesitation at all. They left our house spotless. Can’t fault them at all. An assets to the company and we’re so grateful for all of their hard work. Our doors and windows look incredible.

Friendly team , cleared up well when job was complete.

Our fitters turned up nice and early at the time stated. They were very polite, friendly and courteous. A good job was done on an out building and they left everything clean and tidy at the end. Would recommend.

The whole process with Kent and Sussex Home Improvements Ltd has been absolutely excellent, from the sales process and surveyor and finally through to completion of the installation. The Installer was outstanding with his work ethic and the finished product and worked long hours to complete the work. I would happily recommend the company to anyone

My two fitters were meant to be with me Monday and Tuesday. Due to unforeseen circumstances they could not make Monday, which was ok as I am off most of the week.
They came Tuesday, and finished Thursday.
The weather played a big part while they were here, it was about 35 degrees and was so hot, I felt sorry for them, sweat was dripping off them.
They were very polite and chatty, and cleaned up at the end of each day.
So far my tinted glass roof looks lovely , having people round soon and expect comments.
Very pleased with the work.

We had a complete upgrade on our windows to casement double glazing (24 windows and 3 doors) and were very pleased with K&S service from start to finish. They won us over with a reassuring and confident sales pitch, the engineer that measured up was efficient, the communication was good with the installation team in the office and Christian & Joe, the installation team on the ground were really excellent. Polite, conscientious and left our house clean at the end of everyday. If you’re looking for a window/door upgrade, we would absolutely recommend K & S Home Improvements for piece of mind, a quality product and a great service.
