Silas 2.0 Desk
Bought a Silas 2.0 desk just under a year ago. It's nice and looks good. However, I primarily bougth it for the wireless charging. It does work, but getting my phone to connect to it is a nightmare. It's a guessing game has to be milimetre perfect for it work. Maybe it's supposed to be like that and it's just me being pendantic, however I also have Silas 3.0 and I just need to put my phone within the vacinity and it connects to charge.

The Silas 2.0 is an older desk model that often requires the phone to be placed in a precise position to enable a successful charge to take place on the desktop. We of course revised this with new technology with the 3.0, which is why it is easier to charge with your 3.0 desk than your 2.0.

I purchased the Koble smart bed from…DFS
I purchased the Koble smart bed from dhs. It’s a lovely big bed, but the speakers on it are ridiculously loud! My husband likes the telly on to fall to sleep with and I like silence! We had an agreement that once the telly goes into standby, then it stays off, but it has a 4 hour window! You can hear the tv as clear as day when you’re sat in the living room (under the bedroom) so I dread to think what my poor neighbour thinks about it! I have rang koble to express my opinion and the lady was lovely. I asked - is there any way I could turn my side down. Unfortunately there isn’t! And the lowest the speakers go is to me - day time telly volume. So if you’re thinking of purchasing, just bare in mind, it’s silly loud!

The volume of the speakers can be adjusted using the device you have paired with it, and they will go as loud or as quiet as you desire. Some devices will enable you to control the volume of the individual speakers and some applications can also be used to do this depending on what you are syncing with your KOBLE bed. Our advice is to investigate these options with your paired device for greater volume/speaker control.

Excellent desk
Excellent desk, well made and sturdy. Easy to assemble.
Only criticism is too much polystyrene in the box that gets everywhere… forms like this need to change to more cardboard interior protection within packaging.

Koble Customer service is second to…
Koble Customer service is second to none, we had our item lost in transit and I could get nowhere with the Courier. So I contacted Koble directly and they chased it through the process for me. Everything they said they would do, they did and kept me fully informed throughout. In the end they even dispatched a replacement item which arrived very quickly even though It was not their fault the item had gone astray. First class customer service, I would highly recommend.

Damaged goods, sorted quickly.
The desk I ordered arrived damaged, due to the way it was packed. A prompt replacement was arranged, but unfortunately that too was damaged in exactly the same place, caused by the way it was packaged. Thankfully their customer service was excellent, and they quickly sent out a replacement desk top which arrived intact. I’m very happy with the desk now that I have it, their customer service was quick, friendly and efficient, it’s just a shame that I received two broken items in the first place.

Sove Smart Bed
I purchased the Sove smart bed in the sale for £499. Whilst the measurements are contained within the description you never quite know the overall height until you’ve decided upon a mattress so the bed is a little higher than I expected. The under bed lighting is fabulous as my son can see where he’s going when he gets out of bed to go to the bathroom at night. The sound from the speakers is also amazing. We are a few weeks down the road and the bed is now being sold in outlet stores for £249 at furniture discount uk so I wish I’d have not been so hasty with my purchase as £250 makes the world of difference given the looming utility price hikes

In terms of Furniture Discount, the units sold on that website are clearance, ex-display, repaired or returned models, come with no warranty, guarantee, or tech support, and cannot be replaced or returned, which is why there is a cost difference. This is outlined in that website's FAQ section. It is also worth noting that KOBLE offers free delivery, whereas with delivery the bed you ordered actually costs £339 from Furniture Discount.

Sales team helpful but product design could be better
Sales were very helpful with queries on the different desks and they price matched which was great.
The product is good quality however they didn’t explain that a mouse will not work on the glass surface. This should noted on the product description and it isn’t. Customer services suggested I buy a mouse mat or an expensive mouse that would work, which takes away from the whole point of a slick streamlined desk and get in the way of the controls and wireless charger. A bit of a design flaw really. Should Koble not provide a mouse mat or compatible mouse knowing most won’t work on the desk?
I like the desk but would suggest a few improvements.

Optical mice don't usually function correctly on glass surfaces: The problem with glass is that the light passes through and doesn't reflect back to the mouse, so the mouse can't detect movement. Modern optical mice work on most opaque diffusely reflective surfaces like paper, but most of them do not work properly on specularly reflective surfaces like polished stone or transparent surfaces like glass.
