Since you’ve purchased both Kombucha and Water Kefir, remember to keep the fermentation jars at least a few feet apart to prevent cross contamination of the different cultures.

Shipment Date: Shipped the following day, Dec 31st.
Shipping Method: At checkout, you selected the Standard (Non-Tracked) shipping option rather than Express. Standard shipping typically takes longer, especially during the holiday season.
Business Closure: As noted on our website, we were closed for holidays from 09/01/26 to 16/01/26.
Because your chosen method is non tracked, we cannot provide a real time location. However, please allow a few more business days for the postal service to complete the delivery.

This is my second time buying the grains. The first ones lasted over 3 years, I only had to replace them because I left them in the fridge too long, they because sluggish.

It’s a common pitfall, but as you noticed, the fridge only slows the metabolism of milk kefir grains; it doesn’t stop it entirely. After a long dormant period, the balance of bacteria and yeast can shift, making them "sluggish" as they struggle to out-compete spoilage organisms.
If you ever need to take another long break, we have updated instructions and FAQs on the website covering long-term storage and revival techniques to help your new grains last even longer.

Ordered around the busiest time of the year so I expected delays, but almost 2 weeks now and nothing showed up, paid for tracking yet no tracking number, multiples emails and still no answer! It’ll be quicker if I drive there and collect it myself!

We’d like to clarify that your order was received on December 25th, during the holiday period. As this is one of the busiest times of the year and our team were on holidays, this unfortunately had an impact on dispatch timelines. In addition, AnPost have been experiencing exceptionally high volumes over this period, which has led to delivery delays outside of our control.
We’d also like to confirm that we did respond to your initial email on 30/12/2025, though we’re sorry if this response wasn’t received or seen.
Many other orders dispatched during the same period have since been successfully delivered, which indicates that deliveries are continuing, albeit more slowly than usual.
For customers who require faster delivery during peak periods, we also offer an express shipping option at checkout, which prioritises both dispatch and delivery.

The grains themselves are good. But it took a week for dispatch to happen, and as a result, the grains arrived when I wasn't home. This delayed my getting them started by a few days. The website says that goods are dispatched the next working day.
