I was looking for a coffee table for my garden.
I saw the one I liked in one of the store branches in the Milan area, in Northen Italy.
The table in the shop was the only one left.
I was told they couldn't order any more.
If I wanted the table, I could only take that one.
The table had marks on the top surface.
They said take it or leave. No discount.
I then drove to another branch, some 40 km away.
I found the same table, but they wouldn't sell it to me until the following week for sale policy.
At this point I checked on JYSK website.
It showed all the branches in the area and the availability of the product I was looking for.
NOT ACCURATE.
When I drove to the THIRD branch, further 30 km away, they also had only one table left. On the website, it showed otherwise.
I voiced my disappointment to the staff, but I received very little customer service.
The shop assistant I dealt with wasn't very helpful nor sympathetic.

Absolute nightmare
Me and my partner made a purchase in Jysk Oldham in January 2025. From the day we purchased their product we experienced nothing but problems.
First Jysk delivered wrong mattress, wrong size of mattress, they didn't deliver the mattress protector that was purchased along with it.
After only one week's use their mattress deformed creating 8 cm deep holes on both sides where we slept and a rise in the middle. It's extremely uncomfortable to the point it's causing back and neck problems which we find unacceptable. Absolutely disgusting customer service, or lack of customer service shall I say. They prove that once they've got customers' money they don't care. Nearly 5 months on our claim hasn't been resolved and refund not issued. We tried to publish a review on their website but it obviously hasn't been published. Stay away, especially from Jysk Oldham. Legal actions against Jysk will be taken.
Faulty Product, Weeks of Stress – My Last Purchase from JYSK
I purchased a Kongsberg bed frame from JYSK Santry on May 16th. The product arrived with a missing part and, even worse, in the wrong size. I had ordered a king size (150×200 cm), but received a 150×190 cm frame – a size that doesn’t even officially exist. It didn’t match my bed base, and I ended up sleeping on the floor for weeks.
I had to chase the store myself just to get the missing part. Once that was resolved, I discovered that the product itself was completely incorrect. When I requested a return, the first pickup team refused to take the bed because it wasn’t disassembled – though no one had informed me I needed to do that. I had to dismantle the whole thing myself and reschedule the collection. Eventually, I returned the product to the store and received my refund – all through my own efforts.
This whole process took nearly six weeks and caused enormous inconvenience. JYSK’s after-sales service is unprofessional, disorganized, and extremely frustrating to deal with.
I will never shop at JYSK again and have informed everyone around me about this experience in full detail. Stick to IKEA – this felt like a poor imitation with none of the reliability, service, or quality.
Avoid these scammers – still no wardrobe after 1 month!
I placed an order on 1st June and received an incomplete delivery. One crucial box was missing. After countless messages and excuses from customer service, they promised to resend the full item. It’s now 30th June and I’ve received NOTHING.
No update. No delivery. No refund.
Their customer service is absolutely useless — no one reads what you say, no one follows up, and they expect you to fix their mess.
This company is either shamefully incompetent or deliberately SCAMMING customers. Either way, DO NOT TRUST them with your money.

Seen this company online and Moved to Derby recent for my husbands work, needed some more furniture so I thought I would visit the shop on the meteor centre yesterday evening, walked in and could not get down some of the lanes because a lot of furniture was piled up in them. Carried on shopping and I was underwhelmed the products looks fantastic online but when your in the place itself they are cheap and it is just very messy, they have an upstairs which is cramped, a mirror was just freestanding (surely that’s a safety concern) as my son almost tripped over it, and if anyone with a pushchair or wheelchair needed to get around, they would have no hope, very badly laid out, stuff all over the place, rubbish on the floors, no prices for a lot of the products to the point I had to get the website up but no signal, and to finish off an already underwhelming experience the customer service representative at the till was blunt and rude to me as if I was a wasting his time, how he is in a customer facing job is a mystery, very bad I would not bother with that place

Bought a parasol and base 2 years ago, unfortunately the parasol has broken so I've gone to JYSK LINCOLN to replace it. On line showing stock...but unwilling to sell.
Gainsborough have 5 if you want to drive there.
Unhelpful and pretty rude customer service.
I also phoned the store directly and was cut off twice, I told the staff this and he said customer services were really busy.
I phoned the number again infront of him and his phone rang !!!
He nearly died of embarrassment.

What went wrong hmmm....the fact that this company is still around baffles me for starters! Sister ordered some drawers not cheap was delivered weeks later then stated and in such poor condition the typical cracks in the wood marks on pieces and handles missing. She then had to order another set but waited another 2 weeks for that. she was given a time slot but because the driver finished his route early for the day and I guess wanted to go home he decided to drop it earlier and out of the time given so no one was in for his early drop off. Called the driver he didn't care had attitude as did the customer services. Now full refund can't be given until the other broken set is picked up. Absolute joke I work in retail myself and would be ashamed to work for a company like that how embarrassing. I have been told by so many people that have had similar experiences too so i would 100% not recommend this place at all your better off getting something at the local tip better quality and friendly staff!!

Think twice before buying anything from JYSK that you don’t plan to throw away within a year.
We purchased the VONGE lounge set for £1,600, and during a storm, a trampoline fell onto one of the chairs, bending the armrest. We reached out to JYSK customer support hoping to buy a replacement part, repair the chair, or at least purchase a single replacement chair.
Their response?
“We do not offer spare parts or repair services.”
In other words, if a small part of a large, expensive item is damaged — you’re expected to throw away the entire product. Imagine buying a car and being told to scrap it because of a dented bumper. Or tossing your iPhone because the screen cracked.
No repair options, no parts, no support — not even the option to buy a replacement chair.
For any high-value purchase, this kind of after-sale policy is unacceptable. So unless you’re buying something disposable, I would avoid JYSK altogether.

made the mistake of buying from this company without checking the reviews. I bought a bed that was supposed to arrive within a maximum of 13 working days, but they didn’t even bother to send me an email to let me know that the delivery date is unknown – maybe in a month. I understand that things like this can happen, but there's no mention of such delays on their website. I hope you don’t make the same mistake of buying from them – an unprofessional company that misleads people

All round terrible service
Ordered a Sun Lounger Cushion, and then shortly received the message from Rhenus home delivery services to book time slot. No time slots appear and delivery states 'on hold' with no explanation.
Three weeks later no change so I call the JYSK customer service, the chat service is never open. They tell me the item was damaged during transit and is out of stock so can't be delivered/replaced.
Why wasn't I told this until I chased it up?
Really poor service and will not be using this company again for anything.
Bed Missing parts
Ordered a bed and it came without slats. They have to be ordered separately.Why would anyone want a bed without slats.Rude staff in shop also.
Avoid it
Avoid at all costs. Never in my life have I been so shocked and at a shop but the Derby branch is appalling, visited today and the furniture is not accessible what so ever, a large portion of the downstairs is filled with boxes it looks like you are on a warehouse. The shelves or either empty or things are in the wrong place so finding out the price is impossible. Rubbish all over the floor. Avoid at all costs. How it is allowed to operate like this is appalling.

Generally just find jysk attitude to customers is really poor. They routinely put offers out on the shelves before they’re active so prices are higher than expected at the till. I also recently went into store 15 mins before closed and they’d filled the aisles with the outdoor furniture so it was impossible to actually shop. Messaged customer services and the response was basically “meh, that’s what we do”.
SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE
CRAP PRODUCT. CRAP SERVICE. I had a dressing table delivered and the mirror arrived broken. I was told it would take 2 weeks to have a replacement sent. I followed up a few days ago and the lady I spoke to said it too early to say when it will come. I wanted to let the courier know that our doorbell doesn't work so the mirror would need to left in a safe place. Which she couldn't help me with. I came home today to a note to say it had been delivered to my neighbour. I had zero notification of the delivery and clearly no one in support knows what's going on with each order.
The icing on the cake was that thw box arrived absolutely battered. Needless to say the mirror inside is smashed to bits. The box has no protection and isn't even labelled as a fragile item.
Don't waste your money, even if it's cheap and you think it's worth it, it's not. This company has an ineffective support team and embarrassing delivery standards.
Beware outdoor table melting

When purchasing a garden table. We have had ours for 3 weeks and as you would expect to use outdoors with cold drinks as it’s a table. I had a glass of juice and left said glass for half an hr on the table whilst I cut the grass. In this time the sun had melted the table through the rays going through the glass onto the table. I never in my wildest dreams thought it could melt the table especially in the British sunshine. I complained and was told in the instructions this can happen 🤭 so nothing they can do.. I’m quite an intelligent person and thought buying an outdoor table would be fit for purpose.. be very careful not to leave a glass on the table when the sun is shining..

The back of one of the garden chairs I bought from jysk as started to come apart, so I contacted JYSK this morning, finally got through on the fourth attempt after being cut off the first three times.
I realise that I’ve had the lounge set for just over three years and that it is out of warranty, so I wanted to know if I could purchase a replacement back, I provided the original order number, but the person I was speaking to was unable to retrieve the information, and said that they wouldn’t be able to provide a replacement back, even though google had stated that replacement backs were available.
I asked if he could provide the manufacturer’s information, so that I could contact them directly, and provided the company name, but was told that he couldn’t give me any information. He then suggested that I could get a new one, at first I thought he was talking about a new back, but as the conversation progressed it became clear that he was talking about a new complete lounge set, which doesn’t make any economical sense.
He was expecting me to spend over £1000:00 to replace a back which would be a fraction of the cost.
Don't waste your time
Ordered 4 chairs, there was no option to choose a delivery date, so on the day of delivery I changed the date to make sure I'm home. My package was still delivered but I was not home so they sent it to local depot, I called them to explain, man on the phone comforted me saying don't worry it will come tomorrow, the next day my order did not arrive and they refused to give me money for delivery despite telling me it will arrive on the day I need. The man on the phone was very rude and not helpful at all. The chairs were okay but I won't buy from there again!

I ordered a sofa on their website on the 15th April 2025. I got an email telling me that I was going to get a delivery information link. However, nothing happened. I waited and after a week I call their customer service team in Dublin and ask for information about my delivery (so I had to contact them to get information about a delievery information they should have provided. So already there they let the customer down). Then the agent tells me that 2 of the 3 parts of the sofa had arrived at the Rhenus warehouse (the terrible company they use for their delivery. They dont even have a help page, only a whatsapp AI response messenger). So the agent tells me that the best option would be to re-order the sofa as that would arrive faster than waiting for the 1 missing piece. So they re-order it for me and I was told that I would get a new link and this would arrive fast.
Again days go by and no link. Then 2nd time I call the agent says that its delayed.
So finally I get a delivery date; 16th of May, ONE MONTH after I ordered it. So I had to book a day off work to be available to be home for the delivery.
Today is the 16th and I get a text message telling me they had to cancel my delievery!! I call them and they tell me that there was a mistake in their system, apparently the order never arrived at their wearhouse. I was never informed about this nor notified about any delay. I was given 100% confirmartion that it would arrive on the 16th but now they dont even have the sofa.
Ive asked to get my money back and they told me it would take 5 days!!! I have family coming over and now they have nothing too sleep on! ONE MONTH after I delivered it. Nothing but terrible customer service, no updates, no information, delays, wrong deliveries and late refunds. Not to forget that I have lost 1 vacation day on this!
DONT EVER USE JYSK!
