The app was quite glitchy and I needed to contact support twice, once to update the address, and then with a problem with the booking after the sitter showed as “withdrew”. Other than that the sitter was great and it was a smooth evening.

App kept crashing. I was eventually able to book a sitter, however they did not show up on time and told me the app never informed them of the booked sit.

Out of the 7 nannies:sitters that I have booked in the last two years, I have only found one who has been very engaging with my sons and very reliable. The rest of the 6 of them are great as an aide at home (e.g. to help with grocery shopping) but not to engage a toddler or a primary school child. It appears that most sitters do this on the side to earn an extra allowance, which is great, however I book them to keep my children busy whilst I have to work and I end up having to encourage them to play with my kids and having to participate in games. They mostly sit down and ask the kids to show them books or toys, lacking energy and enthusiasm. Only one out of the 7 actually did ran behind them and encouraged them to play. I wish I could find more sitters that are energetic and enthusiastic. I do understand that it is difficult to keep a toddler entertained but the parents use the bubble app so that they are able to get on with their work at home or any chores, not to have to be the entertainer themselves.

Terrible experience. Following a previous good one. Important event who I told her about. I contacted the sitter the day before to discuss arrangements. No response.

She cancelled the day of the event with an excuse that she could have given me a heads up on eg back injury. Then suggested I could find someone else.

This is totally unprofessional.

The app said they would freeze her profile but see she’s back on again. The app also said they would find someone else. Sorry, you can’t just trust anybody with your children and house.

Given the previous times I have paid a ‘trust and safety’ fee on top of the sitters fee I really doubt the vetting on this app.

I needed a baby sitter last minute, the sitter was early, and caught the bus to get to me. She was nice girl and my lad took to her rite away. Kept good communication throughout. They were playing ball when I got home. Paid for her taxi home.

The sitter was great and the process to book etc was easy. Not getting 5 stars due to fees - adding a 20% (£10) fee on top for the parents and deducting 25% (£12.5) for the sitter. Once fees are revised with less greed then 5* will be awarded.

I have had 2 great nanny placements via Bubble. Unlike most other agencies, they facilitate contracts and payroll, which is a huge bonus. For straightforward, full time nanny hiring, they are the most effective agency I've used.

The app was easy to use, so many sitters reached out, the applicants were responsive and good at communicating. Their profiles showed a lot of information. We found a delightful nanny that had a wealth of experience with neurodiversity and our kids loved her.

It's a nice app if you're looking for a last-minute babysitter, however the costs are exorbitant! They charge for each booking, which adds up, and they charge you loads for cancelling. I had to cancel about 2 hours before the booking would start and I had to pay the babysitter 50%, and that was the minimum. Never again.

Amazing baby sitter, my son loved her. He is a vary active boy and the bany sitter was very patient. She was on panctual and polite. Will be booking her again

Chloe went above and beyond, always available to support me—even outside regular working hours—and guided me smoothly through every step of the process, all the way to signing the contract. I couldn’t have asked for better assistance!

As a degree educated teacher I still need to top up my earnings some times, due to the sector not being greatly paid. I've done several sits through bubble, at the start quite happily taking on a new sit. They then decided to charge 25% when you do a new sit which is pretty disgusting, when you do the work. Therfore I mainly keep to sits with people I've already met, this week I did a first sit though again which lost me over two hours of my pay for the job! The providers of this app are slow to respond, and care much more for the parents than workers.

I found it a little confusing. Any adjustments you make creates a whole new listing so applicants are in different places.
Also had to pay for the intro meeting which feels a little unfair. It was an intro, there was no actual babysitting but it still cost me £20. You don't normally pay people for an interview.

It was super easy to find a babysitter through bubble, within an hour of me posting the request I had plenty of interested babysitters and was able to look at their profile in detail and then chat to our preferred person before booking. Payment through the app is super easy too.

We used Bubble for both hourly childcare and to source a permanent nanny for our children. The app is easy to use and payment is safe and easy. The permanent sourcing service is excellent - vetting great candidates so we didn't have to interview loads and really taking the time to understand what we are looking for. Great experience!

My first time using Bubble after being recommended by several friends and I must say I was super impressed.
The app is easy to use and it’s so great that you can see friends sitters as well so it doesn’t feel like you’re using randoms.
We needed a last minute sitter and got instant requests and a fantastic sitter.
