My work coach Carl has been super supportive and always has great advice.

Carl Lewis is so helpful with assisting the Jon search he help me get uniform
And equipment for a new position very friendly and kind to work with

Carlos was my work coach and he honestly made me feel so comfortable in every session. Never made me feel bad for not being ‘able’ to accept a job offer. Helped me find a job that is suitable for me. Akg was able to offer me plenty of courses / support that I needed to find a job and to help make sure I have everything for a new job.

They took over Max Employment, the second they did, everything started going down hill. It became about putting me in high-turn over jobs that everyone hated and I wasn't suited for, just so they could meet KPIs. The agent I had at Max, who was FANTASTIC - was fired a week after AKG took over. They also deliberately kept putting off sponsoring a course that would have gotten me into a job I actually wanted until the invoice lapsed.
Avoid like the plague.

I can't speak highly enough of AKG - the support they provided was outstanding. Special shout out to Jodie - she really went the extra mile to help support me, and get me back in to work.

I found the service from this company amazing everybody is extremely friendly and helpful. In less than three weeks they helped secure two different job offers for me. It is a very welcoming environment and I would highly recommend anybody who needs assistance to go to them.

I attended my work preparation with Julie, who was very agreeable, kind and supportive in recognising what my needs and concerns required. Helped me work through my CV and what my options would be when I'm more ready to re enter the workplace. Always accommodating and a more than pleasant presence.

I could not have asked for a better support system at akg - Carl and Georgia have helped me with my options and regularly check in with me with how everything is going - also took part with the jobs club run by Mario and Natalie, who are also as amazing and supportive as Carl and Georgia and all together they make a great team and couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to help me !

My work coach Chelsea was kind and lot informative, support me and I managed get a job . I was anxious as been odd sick for a while but het support mean lot for me.

Clare has been absolutely amazing to work with she’s always checking in with me to see how my progress is getting on and seeing if there is anything I need which is really reassuring and i know she’s always there for me to ask if there are any questions I need answering, Clare has just had a training course approved for me which is absolutely amazing news, I have wanted to do it for so long but the courses are pricey. Thanks so much Clare, I’m so excited to begin this new journey and further my career and new skills in my self employment journey! Thanks so much Clare and team! X

I worked with Mark Taylor at AKG Tamworth. I got placed on the restart scheme and didn’t know what to expect. Mark was a breathe of fresh air, looked at what I was doing, offered valuable suggestions and insight and most of all helped me to keep a positive attitude and keep my confidence levels high. This was truly no mean feat after what I can only describe as a year from hell. If anyone is placed on this scheme I’d thoroughly recommend engaging withyour work coach (if it’s Mark then I know you are in safe hands), work with them, keep plugging away and the results will come.

Over the past 6 months, my work coach (Mark Taylor) has been incredibly attentive and supportive, and I’m genuinely grateful for everything he has done for me. His guidance has always been personally tailored to my needs, and he consistently took the time to understand my situation and help me move forward with confidence. One of the ways he helped me was by improving my CV, he showed me exactly how to present my skills and experience in a more professional way.
He always manages to strike the perfect balance between being friendly and approachable, while still remaining professional and focused. I always felt listened to, understood, and encouraged, and his consistent support has made a real difference in my confidence and progress.
That support, combined with his encouragement and belief in me, played a huge part in me securing employment.
I truly feel that I wouldn’t be where I am now without his dedication, patience, and expertise. I couldn’t have asked for a better work coach.

I first started my journey at AKG with Anil & then with Carl. I can honestly say both have been very knowledgeable, professional & courteous at all times. The support i received was invaluable. I am pleased to say I am now in work.

I have really enjoyed my experience at AKG , I’m grateful for the supportive and very friendly staff that work within Thanks to my Emloyment coach’s expertise and and support I have now been able to ultimately secure a fulfilling position as an employee :)

Since I started with AKG with Carl Lewis as a work coach, I not only felt valued from the start, but they knew exactly what I needed to return to work after a long period.
They were always kind, respectful, and willing to help with anything. I felt that, despite helping many people, the work they did was personalised. And that's not always what you find in a public office.

I've managed to secure part-time employment, albeit after quite a few months on the scheme, whilst working with my employment coach Julie McCarthy and Sahib the mental health coach at AKG Tamworth. They were both very helpful, Julie probably moreso, and both listened to my problems that I had with getting the confidence back that I needed and also supporting me with some new clothes I needed for the job I eventually found for myself.
