JK Flooring staff have been brilliant
JK Flooring staff have been brilliant, from the planning through to the execution to install our underfloor heating system. Neil & Stuart communicated promptly and helped us get the plan finalised after a few iterations.
James and Josh the installers from the Exeter branch turned up on time, were well presented, courteous and cheerful chaps who got on with the job very efficiently.
We are looking forward to getting our next floor done and welcoming JK Floorheating back to do it.

JK guided me over several weeks to…
JK guided me over several weeks to prepare my floor for an retro heating install. It was ultimately not possible, because of the state of the screed that was eventually revealed, but I appreciated their advice and patience and they made no issue about refunding the part prepayment that I had made. Recommended if you have a floor in a better state than mine!

I wanted to use just the screed floor…
I wanted to use just the screed floor cutting facility as they would not 'bolt on' to my existing 2nd and spare channel underfloor facility (guarantee issues) and would not even offer that either.Different team in my thoughts.
Totally inflexible for what looks like a great idea recommended by my boiler fitter .

We would like to offer a response to your review.
Your discussion with our sales team was based around wanting us to install our routed system into your hallway and connect back to an existing manifold that you already had in place.
Having only 1 spare port on your existing manifold this was not sufficient to accommodate our system.
Your hallway is 14m2 so is over the tolerance for the max linear meterage allowed by our system for one UFH circuit and you required two.
It would have been negligent for us to try to install your hallway on one circuit.
We offered to install you two loops, with a new two port manifold, which would have offered the guarantee that the system would work as intended, but this was not preferable for you.
We simply don't offer a routing only service and never will. We are an underfloor heating supply and installation company so its not that we weren't flexible, more that we couldn't accommodate what you were asking.

A very easy process from start to finish. Graham Davies was always on hand for any questions and Matt and the installation team were friendly, quick and clean.
Anyone looking for UFH to be installed I’d highly recommend JK on price alone, but customer service also backs up the great service.

Excellent work - Excellent Company.
I have dealt with a huge number of contractors, builders and ‘experts’ within their specialist fields within in the building industry- JK Flooring are up there with the best I’ve ever dealt with.
Their professionalism, knowledge and customer service was excellent from start to finish.
They do not over complicate the process and know exactly what they are doing. The back office staff, sales people and technical experts are grounded whilst remaining professional. The guys they send to do the job are again extremely professional, hard working and diligent.
If you want a smooth process at a fair price with quality equipment then I’d strongly recommend JK Flooring.

Positive experience with JK Installation to replace a sub-standard Overboard UFH
We were initially installed with an overboard UFH that was not fit for purpose for our build with another contractor. We were left with a cold house and out of pocket.
We knew we could no longer expect our contactor to resolve our on-going issues, we had to look at other options. We spoke to many underfloor experts all of which were very informative however, we instantly felt we were in good hands as soon as we made contact with JK installations. Their sales representative (Neil) was very informative, gave a quotation almost instantly and provided a lot of advice with no sales pressure at all.
We then booked JK Installations to supply and install the JK® UFH system. This job was allocated to Phill's Team (Dan & Louis). I think this is the Newport team.
Phill called us before installation and helped ease any reservations that we may have had. We can not recommend Phill and his team enough:-
1) They were able to fit us in fairly easily.
2) They arrived early onsite for the days they had allocated to our job
3) They started the job without any issues, this continued throughout the time they were here.
4) They were extremely approachable and generally such a polite team.
5) They were flexible. They worked around the other work that we had on the time without any issues.
6) They answered any questions we had - very knowable.
7) They went over and beyond to provide first class customer service.
8) They left the site clean.
9) Honestly, the list is extensive.
The experience has been so positive that have recommended JK floorheating to firm we used to install the LVT once the UFH work was complete.
Our only regret is that we didn't know about JK floorheating before the overboard UFH system was installed.

We have had under floor heating fitted…
We have had under floor heating fitted by JK as part of our downstairs refurbishment, the two installer (James and Josh) where very efficient and helpful. They stayed late to try and finish the cutting to try and get the job finished before the weekend, so we could at least have a kitchen for the weekend. Really polite and helpful two guys.

JK Underfloor Heating - Spreading Warmth
I had JK Underfloor heating installed in my house in Reading back in 2017, and it was an excellent decision. I had the entire downstairs renovated, which included beautiful Amtico flooring. I was thrilled to get rid of the old carpets. My house was built in 1968 and did not have insulation in the slab, but the underfloor heating system significantly improved comfort compared to my previous radiator system. It provided all-around comfort that radiators cannot match.
Regarding cost, I did notice a significant drop but I also replaced my old boiler with a new high-efficiency Combi boiler, which worked great.
I currently live in Florida, where the ground is always warm, but if I were still living in the UK, I would not hesitate to install JK Underfloor heating in any house I might purchase.

Their unique system for retro-fitting underfloor heating in a screeded concrete floor without raising the floor height is superb.

Underfloor Heating Is Really Effective And Worth The Price .
I originally was just having my heating replaced and upon mentioning to my builder how I don' like the site of radiators in a home he suggested I go for under floor heating and recommended JK Flooring . We arranged a quote which I thought was reasonable even though it was more then I wanted to spend . I am so pleased because the 2 gents that carried out my work where very efficient and helpful carrying out the works . I am very pleased and impressed with the end product they installed .
