Avoid this company if you value responsive customer service. I submitted multiple order cancellation requests well before anything was processed or shipped. JB Racks completely ignored my emails, went ahead with the order, and sent the rack anyway in three separate boxes. Now I am stuck dealing with the hassle and expense of an unwanted return because nobody bothers to read customer service emails. Absolutely terrible communication and a completely frustrating experience. AVOID AT ALL COST, AVOID AT ALL COST… Liquidating dangerous open recall products shoving them down peoples throats hoping to make a profit is just nasty bottom feeder type customer service. Hiding exactly what shipping service used to avoid customers stopping the shipment is also very poor customer service.
Please do your research before ordering.. Don’t let the countless numbers of Facebook ads stand it your way.

The "Anti-Wobble" Claim is False Advertising
Despite marketing claims of rock-solid stability, this rack wobbles significantly during transport. The metal used in the construction flexes under load, raising serious concerns about long-term durability and safety on the road.
Atrocious Documentation & Parts Quality
Missing & Mismatched Instructions: No physical assembly instructions were included in the box. The printed PDF instructions and the official assembly video completely contradict each other.
Phantom Parts: The manual references hardware and components that were not included, yet the box contained random, unneeded extra parts. None of the hardware is labeled.
Poor Build Quality: The metal integrity suffers when tightening bolts to standard torque with a socket wrench, making it impossible to secure properly without feeling like something is going to strip or break.
Zero Accountability / Predatory Return Policy
To top it all off, the company enforces a strict "no returns" policy—meaning you are stuck with a defective, poorly engineered product even if you hate it. Combine that with a customer support team that is agonizingly slow and completely unhelpful, and you have a recipe for terrible consumer value.
Bottom Line: Save your money. Pay a few hundred dollars more and buy a reputable, well-engineered product from a company that actually stands behind its hardware and customer service.

I ordered my bike rack on July 10, 2026. As of July 24, 2026 I haven't received all of my items. The items I have received are scratched and damaged. The boxes were both damaged as well, which was caused by inadequate packing material in the boxes. Most of the packing material used is thin bubble wrap, but nothing substantial. I am supposed to received my last item on July 28, 2026. I received the first box on July 13, 2026. I received the second box on July 17, 2026. I ordered a 4 bike rack with 1 extra basket. Why the three separate delivery dates? It shouldn't take over two weeks to get parts of my order, especially when it is advertised in bold print on every single page of their site..."Delivered in 4-7 days." Liars.

Horrible quality rack. Crappy product to build. My Strap broke and the rack bent with just 2 bikes on. My bike came off while travelling and damaged the bike.I wanted a full refund as this was only the second time using the rack. They have offered to replace straps and bent bracket…. So it can break again. Don’t think so. Avoid these guys I have wasted my money. Don’t waste yours!

These racks are terrible. They wobble like crazy, ruin bikes due to rubbing and take forever to assemble. When we complained about how unsafe the rack was, they sent us another one with a bunch of missing hardware. Save yourself and avoid at all costs.

Very cheap, used it three times and it is bending and wobbling all over. Emailed JB Racks and they offered little support and wouldn't honor their claimed 4 year warrantee. Spend the extra and get a quality rack. Oh, and one bike fell off over a railroad track and ruined the handlebars and stem.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been awful from beginning to end.

I paid extra for expedited shipping on one of JB Racks’ nearly $700 four-bike vertical racks because I needed it for an upcoming trip.

The rack ships in two boxes.

* Box #1 arrived.
* Box #2 never did.

After three weeks, customer service refused to acknowledge that the package was obviously lost. Instead of simply cancelling the order or overnighting a replacement, they insisted on shipping another second box through the same process. A month after placing the original order, I still don’t have all the parts.

The customer service has been frustrating because they seem far more interested in avoiding responsibility than actually solving the problem.

Unfortunately, once I started assembling the rack, things got even worse.

The construction is nowhere near what I expected for a product at this price point. Rather than being made from robust welded assemblies, it’s built from numerous small metal plates that must all be aligned and tightened together with dozens of bolts. The assembly instructions are poor, fitment is sloppy, and nothing inspires confidence.

After spending hours putting it together, I honestly have zero confidence loading four expensive bikes onto it and driving down the highway. That’s the exact opposite of what you want from a premium bike rack.

For almost $700, I expected:

* Fast shipping (especially after paying extra)
* Competent customer service
* A premium-quality product

Instead I got:

* Missing shipments
* Weeks of delays
* Customer service that wouldn’t admit there was a problem
* A rack that feels far less substantial than advertised

I cannot recommend JB Racks based on my experience. I wish I had purchased from a more established manufacturer.

Whatever you do, don’t buy from them!! Sent us a rack with wrong parts, missing pieces and only had part of the rack show up. Have tried contacting them with no response and now have a partial rack that costed too much for what you get. Bad, bad, bad costumer service!

DO NOT BUY. Absolutely horrible customer service. Sent us the wrong parts (twice) and some bolts were missing but never replaced them. Kept getting sent instructions not applicable to the parts they sent. They "accidently" closed our ticket so now we are in limbo with a useless partial rack. They don't want to refund us and keep saying the will have to "check with their team" regarding our order. There is no phone number to call so all is done by email. Weeks and weeks of frustration. So disappointing.

Worst bike rack on the market ! My 4 bike racks snapped with 2 bikes on it . Cheap ass materials. 2mm thick shs for the hitch ? What are you guys thinking ? Clearly not engineered at all . Down right dangerous and shouldnt be aloud on our roads .

BUYER BEWARE. Do not go with this company is you are on the fence about a stand up rack product, they will not accept returns. I was interested in the system for our family now that kids are getting big enough to need a bike rack (bikes don't fit in the trunk anymore), and purchased a JB rack. Assembly and fitment was definitely an issue, and once assembled it became apparent that this rack was unusable for my wife (smaller stature - 5'0"), as she could not load her or the kids bikes without assistance. JB Rack has a company policy that doe's not accept returns for change of mind, which apparently this fits in that category. We are now holding a non-functional rack for our family with no recourse, very disappointing. Also, there is no way to submit a review on their website, word of caution for anyone considering JB Racks products, STEER CLEAR.

excellent product, easy to assemble, all parts fitted together effortlessly, it is the best quality product we have sighted in the car parks at Fox Creek MTB, & other drop off points we have been too since we have started to use it, it is easy to use even for a 10 year old to load !

Nothing fits. The rack itself isn’t bad but it doesn’t fit into the garage stand with the new 2strut system so it’s wobbly. It doesn’t fit into my car as I can’t do up the bolt because the space is too tight and I can’t fit a standard pin in my tow bar because there’s a thread there to support it, but if you can’t fit that bolt, it doesn’t fit the car. Their extensive email communication informed me I needed to research compatibility prior to perchase….. however their product doesn’t work, they’ve done updates and not tested compatibility. They initially send you 2 video to construct it, I only watched the first then had to pull it apart and re-build it only to find it then won’t fit the other parts. The product doesn’t work, very ptitty but I listed mine on marketplace 1 week after purchase as it doesn’t work.
