Absolutely horrible experience with I Z Energy. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
The lack of planning, communication, and basic customer service has been shocking from start to finish. My solar panels were originally scheduled to be installed on 16th February, just after my tenants moved out on the 14th. I specifically arranged time off work to allow access — and no one showed up. No call, no explanation, nothing.
A few days later, I received a message saying materials weren’t available, and the installation was rescheduled to the 19th February. Once again, I took another day off work — and once again, no one showed up.
They did eventually put up scaffolding, which, to this day, is still left at the property. I then received another message pushing the installation to 26th February, which was later moved again to 5th March.
Finally, on 5th March, the solar panels were installed. What was supposed to be a one-day job dragged into two days, meaning even more time off work for me. All of this disruption could have been avoided with proper communication and planning.
After the panels were completed, I was told low-energy light bulbs would be installed on 23rd March. Yet again, I took time off — and yet again, no one showed up. No update, no apology.
As it stands, the light bulbs still haven’t been installed, and the scaffolding has been up since mid-February.
Overall, this has been an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience. I’ve lost multiple days of work due to their constant no-shows and last-minute changes. I would strongly advise others to think twice before using this company.
