I have installed solar PV and battery through green home Wales programme. I was recommended by my neighbour to EMT services.Steve visited the house and did a thorough energy survey and gave clear recommendations to improve the energy efficiency.
Luci Hutt was absolutely fantastic in processing the application for approval from green home Wales.
Luci went through all the solar proposals and checked the credibility of the companies and had an excellent quote from RLW electrical and I accepted the proposal.
All systems are installed now and working brilliantly
Steve visited the house again to check if everything is working fine and to prepare the final EPC certificate.
I would recommend EMT services to any one

EMT Services did a great job of guiding us through the Green Homes Wales process. Luci is a real expert in her field and identified the perfect installer for our solar energy project.

Steve helped guide me through green home Wales scheme, and stepped in to find an alternative installer quickly when the first one pulled out. Steve helped me with all my questions and ensured work was carried out. There was a blip at the end with paperwork that delayed me signing up with an energy supplier, but that didn't detract from the service with EMT, more the installers. The work carried out however was to a high standard.

An outstanding retrofit coordination company with a thorough understanding of PAS2035 and the full retrofit process. Communication is clear and professional, documentation is well prepared, and support throughout projects has been first-class. They take a practical, collaborative approach while maintaining full compliance, which makes working with them straightforward and stress-free. Highly recommended.

Great communication and all arrangements for the EPC assessment made at short notice, including secure online payment. Efficient and effective and good follow up after the site visit.

I signed up to receive support to decide what energy saving / generating technology, if any, was best for me. The report I received was worse than useless. I stuck with the process as I am a former environmental consultant and was interested to see what quotations I would receive for the solar and battery I was interested in. Eventually I had a single quote for lithium ion batteries which I had specifically said I wasn’t keen on. I have since gone to a local firm who is quoting to install solar plus a hybrid graphene / solid state battery. I hope that this will still be supported by the grant / loan funding offer.

The team at EMT were highly responsive. Whilst Steve was great and really helpful when undertaking the retrofit assessment, Natasha and Luci were clearly the heart of the company with the efficient and effective approach they take to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Can’t recommend Steve and EMT enough. Jumping into Solar can be confusing (especially if using Green Homes Wales). Steve is always at the end of the phone and he just makes it easy to navigate. We took Steve’s recommendations and we’re really happy with our set up. Steve considered how our home would be run and ensured we had a system that was adequate to meet our needs. He also gave us tips on how to maximise our usage. If you want someone take the stress and maximise your benefit then look no further than Steve and EMT

I wanted to look at ways to improve home energy efficiency. I was looking to see if there were any grants for solar panels, but unfortunately I wasn't eligible. I then came across the Green Homes Wales scheme and chose EMT as my retrofit coordinators as they were local. Steve came to the house within a few days and gave me a full overview of my home energy. I learned a lot about solar panels, heat pumps and ventilation; the three things I was most interested in. I decided a heat pump wasn't for me at the time, however I went ahead with solar panels and ventilation measures. Steve got me some quotes for the work: I did however end up finding cheaper quotes elsewhere and going with different suppliers, however Steve made me aware that I'd be still eligible for the government loan for the solar panels and supported me through the application for this. Overall, I would have been lost with the whole process without Steve and probably would never have made the changes. Having a government funded retrofit coordinator outline my options with no pressure to purchase anything was really valuable, and I'm now much more knowledgeable on these matters. Steve was always at hand for a phone call when needed, and if he was busy when I called, always made sure to call me back. I recommend EMT Services.
