To my surprise, the migration was incredibly smooth. I used their Shopify integration addon, and it handled the transfer almost automatically. All my products, images, and details were moved over in just a couple of minutes.

Once everything was up and running, I found the platform easy to use. It’s clear that IXXO Cart was built for businesses that want control over their store. I’ve been able to tweak things the way I want without needing a developer, which has been a huge bonus.

Don’t waste your time or money on this platform

Pros:
• There are no pros to using ixxo. It’s just not good at all.

Cons:

• It’s going to cost much more than the license fee to actually get to market with something worth anything.
• Very poor customer service. They are argumentative and won’t take accountability for anything.
• The platform has a steeeeeeeep learning curve.
• Admin features are just a jumbled mess. Imagine going into a library and all the books were in a pile in the middle of the floor.
• Features never work as expected. Many intuitive development errors were made.
• All PHP files are encrypted and cannot be updated by anyone but IXXO, at a hefty fee of course.

My Story with this company:

It started off great. I was searching for a white-label marketplace and stumbled onto their website. After reading through the site, their reviews, and trying out their demo, I decided to give it a try.

Fast forward many months and over $10K spent, I am now convinced I was duped.

Key learnings:

• Their model is designed to trick you into picking them because of the price. However, they make their bread and butter on add-ons and support requests.
• The platform is feature-rich, but 90% of the features are completely useless for a marketplace just starting out. The documentation is poor, and each feature requires a tremendous amount of testing to see how it impacts the platform.
• The demo is fast because it has no real data. However, the website slows down significantly as you add more products. 100k products = 9 seconds load time.
• Customer service is virtually non-existent. It’s a small group (or maybe just one person- George) of highly ego-driven developers who become rude and argumentative very quickly. They will also charge you unfairly if you frustrate them. And you will.
• Support costs $420/year and is optional. However, “support” in their context means they will respond to your messages. If anything is broken or you need help, it’s billed at $80-$120/hr. We decided against the $420 support fee because we decided it wasn’t needed. We then had a few questions and they refused to even answer our emails at all. We decided to just pay it to get our issue resolved and then was hit with a $1,800 bill ($420 support + 1,380 late fee for not getting the support in time). We didn’t pay that and they didn’t provide any support at all. We were left with a dead piece of software because the php files were locked and the platform was held hostage behind a $1,380 fee.
• Although they appear to be local to Europe and the US, their business offices are in a remote country with a near-impossible method of filing a lawsuit.
• Eventually, you will get tired of the limitations, bad customer service, and poor platform performance and either switch to another provider or build a custom solution. By then, after spending thousands of dollars and many months building, you’ll start to question if the whole thing was just a scam.

Final Thought:

In hindsight, choosing IXXO Multi-Vendor was a costly mistake. I would strongly advise against this platform unless you’re prepared for significant hidden costs, poor support, and the likelihood of having to abandon the platform altogether.

The UI definetely takes some time to get used to it as there are too many features. Other than that their platform is very robust and stable.
The price is also very attractive compared to other solutions like cs-cart opr x-cart.

Terrible. The reviews are fake. They took over $6k and left me with a useless website. Rude and terrible quality work; had to hire another developer to try to fix what they did and that too didn't work. They make the front end look ok meanwhile the backend glitches and they keep asking for more money to fix their own problems. Go far away from them.

Update: Thanks for your response. However, I tried solving this with your customer service before posting this review and he called me names, and then shut the phone in my face. After spending thousands on IXXO + developers trying to fix it + a whole new site, you tell me you'll fix it for free? that alone is not true.
P.S.- regarding the "I only leave 1-star reviews" , I only left 2 others and if you do some research you'll realize that Hertz car rental got sued for stealing and overcharging customers, not just me, thousands of them - Over 3,300 police reports, google it. AND Priceline is in a class-action lawsuit for not returning money on refundable tickets. google it.
