Bryanna, my matchmaker is a true gem. Her infectious enthusiasm really is inspiring and she listened to my wants and needs. I tried another far more expensive service and didn't have any suitable matches and in half the cases I was completely astounded that this company thought that the men they set me up with would be in the least suitable for me. My very first match with IJL has already resulted in a second date. The fact that you get to see pictures prior to meeting your match is invaluable.

I was introduced to person that we had several things in common which made the evening very pleasant. My request regarding likes and dislikes were honored.

This company states there matchmatching service is like no others and I was told by the salesperson that spoke to me during the sign up time they had attorneys and even one she thought I should meet. This experience was awful and they sent me on 2 meeting dates with someone I would never be interested in! After 2 date meetings I requested a refund. I tried a partial refund for the stress and incompentency of this company. It was very expensive at $5100.00. They would not negotiate at all. I later read a lot of reviews on google and other sights with customers that had similar experiences and even paid different pricing than I for there matchmaking service. Do not USE this company.

If I could give a 0-star review, I would. I am beyond frustrated with It's Just Lunch. Not only were they unprofessional and misleading about their services, but they also set me up with someone who had two DUIs, drank excessively throughout the date, and then tried to get me to keep drinking by offering to drive me home (which I obviously declined). He had been on the site for ten years and made various rude comments during the date.

I made it very clear upfront that I did not want to be paired with anyone who drinks heavily, yet that’s exactly who they matched me with. It was an incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe situation - a true liability. To make matters worse, they completely ignored my calls when I tried to address the issue, leaving me feeling completely disregarded.

I feel misled and disrespected by It's Just Lunch. They not only failed to listen to my preferences, but they also put me in an unsafe situation. I would never recommend this service to anyone. Save your money and your time. This company does not care about creating matches, they only care about taking your money up front.

Always courteous and professional Eyrina is amazing. She is always positive and patient, responding quickly to any queries or questions. I have been very happy with my IJL experience.

The experience was not really good because, compatibility goes way beyond just age. Values communication, styles and even life goals play a huge role. If those things don't align, it can fee like you are speaking different languages.

Wasn't crazy about the first date but trying to communicate what I am looking for is not as easy as I would have thought. The matchmaker and I are getting to know each other kind of like dates.

They promise the world but fail to deliver. Their words are empty, and their actions are oppressive and bullying. Save yourself time, money, and stress. Do not sign up with them.

*My Horrible Experience:*

I am appalled and shocked by the utter lack of integrity and accountability displayed by this company. Despite paying a significant amount of money, I was grossly mismatched from the very beginning.

The company's unprofessional behavior was unacceptable, and I did not want to waste any more of my time. Therefore, I requested a refund, and they refused to take responsibility for their mistakes and denied my refund request.

Keep Bryanna as my matchmaker. She knows what I need/ looking for. When I talk to other people, they are not as helpful.

Spent thousands but went to no lunches. When I signed up, I was going on vacation, so they advised me to put my membership in hold. Unfortunately there was a limit to how long you can put your membership on hold. When an immediate family member died soon after that, my 6 months of hold ran out. They didn’t care, they didn’t offer me anything. They just said too bad and kept my money. They don’t care about actually introducing you to anyone one. When I was actually active briefly, the sent me offers to go on dates with people that were far beyond my very lenient criteria (e.g., morbidly obese, elderly). Also if you decline such an offer it counts against you, as if you used up one of your total allotted dates. The pool of dates is bad. Even after giving my feedback, they continued to offer me similar dates. Edit - they replied below that they tried to reach out to me. This is untrue - no one ever reached out to me or responded to me. I would have been amenable to finding a resolution.

The staff I have interacted with at IJL have been nothing but amazing. I have found them to be kind, attentive, personable, friendly and booking with positivity. I would recommend IJL to my friends and family. I am very happy with the service provided.

Don’t use this service!! This has been the biggest waste of money in my entire life. I spent $900 and went on 2 dates. My date coordinator was not able to update my profile as we worked together. I was told that my original profile from the initial questions is all that can be used to determine matches. I felt like they matched me with anyone just to get my 3 dates completed. I never went on my third and last date because I violated protocol by asking for additional criteria to be applied. I asked for the person’s political leanings which is something they told me would never, ever be allowed by their company. I am totally done with these people and I hope to save someone from the same waste of money that I experienced.
I see IJL responded to my review and said they provided 5 date. Be aware that they count every person that they present to you that they think meets your original criteria as a date. To me a date is actually meeting the person. So, three of the “dates” they claim they gave me never had any interaction between me and the other person. I didn’t think they were matches, so I rejected them. My opinion meant nothing. So, don’t be swayed by their seemingly reasonable response.

Its a total scam. It was super expensive. I didn't like the process. Few of my dates seem to be fake.

It is a great and easy way to meet people when you have a busy schedule and don’t get out much. Also don’t really know where to take a date. The company does well on trying to match you with a great match and trying to get feedback so, if it doesn’t work out you can get matched with even better matches.

When I arrived for my first It's just lunch date, the restaurant had no record of our reservation. And they had never heard of It's just lunch, which I'm assumed they would have since your organization stated you set up the reservation. When the gentleman who I was to have a date with he was well dressed and very polite. Obviously an accomplished person. The date went well . He did mention that It's Just Lunch reactivated his account from years ago for free. I am disappointed that It's Just Lunch took my money when they do not necessarily have a lot of people my age who are members of It's Just Lunch. For this reason, I will ask for a refund of my membership if you can't meet your contract and provide services such as making reservations and matching me with men who have recently read a book or seen a movie.
The gentleman I was set up with has few interest similar to mine.
