I filed on Jan 29th. Still waiting and I try to use the website to tack my refund. It's been in active for the last month and a half. I so tired of this fake system backed by literally NOTHING and the lack of empathy for fellow humans. The misinformation, the blatent lies and manipulation ... I'm so disgusted with it all. I hate being American just like 80% of my fellow Homosapians. This system will no longer exist in the very near future. I'm excited for that .

The IRS is one of the biggest problems!!!!! First, can only call them, which it's all set up to give you the same ol' "thanks for calling the IRS, GOODBYE". Only 1 option will get you to a rep, that alone can take hours. Once your through that mess, you have to answer a series of questions, and in my case I was told something like "the irs can't find you"....wtfyou mean? Paid my taxes for over 20 years, Born in the USA, was asked why my returns were rejected... I was never informed. Finally I was told I wasn't being truthful about some info I had given her. I reply with, what is it you'd like to know because I don't have any idea what is incorrectand the amount of tax info they have on me....they should already know all those questions. 3 years as of today my taxes have been reject and I am owed money. Last thing I was told to call a # and make an apt. I tried....there is no email correspondence, and I hate calling and or going to the local IRS place. I fear I may become penalized for this in someway and I don't know much about the algorithm of how taxes are defined. No classes in school...irs sets you up for failure and it's down right BS!.

The Internal Revenue Service Employees are the worst. Have been trying to straighten out misapplied payment to the IRS for three years now. initially it was;..oh just wait, COVID set everything back 12-18months. Now its just rude, abrasive people who transfer you back and forth like ping pong saying its the other department .blah blah blah. and here I am still with no resolution. HATE this arm of our government especially since there is not accountability both on performance as well as the resolution side.

The IRS is a joke. They expect us to pay our taxes on time. Tried to call the number to verify my identity and they aren't taking calls at this time!!! What do y'all get paid for. This is a joke y'all should be ashamed of yourself!!! Due to high call volume yeah bc y'all making everyone verify their identity..This rating talks volumes.. how about y'all just not get paid and give the money to all the poor ppl in this country that's waiting and counting on their tax return. Please can I just get my taxes I'm barely making it as it is

E-filed taxes on jan 31st. Was accepted same day by IRS. Here it is 40 days later and still NOTHING! Called and spoke to rep. Who informed me she saw NOTHING wrong with taxes as all income was verified. She also stated there is no evidence a letter is being sent to me.
Called their Tax Advocates ( who are equally nothing more than a waste of taxpayer dollars) and they just switched me over to another rep who told me basically the same thing as the first rep. and that I just have to wait.
False advertising telling ppl 21 days or less for e-file! They did the SAME thing to me last year. Took about 3-4 months after e-filing! If you owe them money tho, they are on your ass!

In 2022 Tax season, one of our investment by crowd pistachio farm gave a huge loss. The farm was not able to sent us the K1 form on losses and we got is only in early July 2023. I did amendment and mailed it with all needed documents and proof of the loss. IRS got it on July 15 (certified mail). Needless to say that nothing happened. After waiting for 3 months, we requested why nothing was done yet and IRS replied it will be done no earlier then in 6 months. After nothing happened after 6 months waiting, we filed complain on them. 6.5 months later nothing was returned ($6,450). Is country so poor or IRS works slower vs a turtle?

I pretty sure they don't have level 4 plates. Just saying.
Also using AI in spying on everyone's bank account is unconstitutional.

I called waited for 1hour and 40 mints and when was finally able to get someone, I explained what I needed, person said that’s not my department and transferred me to wait line again.
I wasn’t told to what department I was being transferred, I was trying to ask for a number in case call drop or for future reference but person let me talking by myself

What went wrong well when I called irs goes through automatic answering service has you pick a preference number you want and they say wait 10 or so minutes then it goes silent then it HANGS UP on ME DON'T APPRECIATE IT YOU'RE THERE TO HELP BUT YEAH. called more than once hangs up on me what went wrong this time wow.

I filed my taxes Jan 2023. Verified my identity feb 23,2023. I was told it could take up to 180 days. It is Now October 2023, I still have NOT received my refund. what Can Somebody Tell me what’s going on Because this is Insane!!!!!!!

They need to do better because whoever, did my tax did not know what they were doing. at first they needed my direct deposit and them they need to verify who I was 3 times and say my information has not gone through hrblock. IT MESSED UP GOD PLEASE FIX IT.

Too bad the irs is ran by the government all they do is take from us all year and than at the when you file taxes they want to audit you to keep from paying you I have yet to receive my income taxes from 2019,2020,and 2022 I'm sick and tired of it yall.

A guy named Joe Baton from Dothan Albama IRS office contacted me on whatsapp stating I need to pay a income fee of 4000 usdt for the funds they locked. I am not a US citizen so I cannot have an IRS account to get my tax transcript. He sent a copied invoice over whatsapp instead of IRS transcript. I would call for IRS to confirm if he is a real agent.

I filed my taxes online 5/07/2023 here it is 6/23/2023 still nothing, not even a good explanation on why so long and no return ,yet. I have called over 5 times to the IRS about the delay. I was told they needed my w-2 sent from my old job. They already had my w-2 that I sent to them online. Said they specifically, needed the one sent from the old job. So, I called my old job and informed them of what the IRS needed. My old job sent what the IRS needed by the beginning of April. Then I received a notice from the IRS stating they were reviewing my taxes and would need 120 days. Which is ridiculous considering you only needed one thing to verify and it wasn't my fault it was because of my old job. So, now I'm being punished. I called again and was told to call the IRS tax advocate line for help. I call them they told me to call back in June and they were not accepting new cases. Then I called in June and was told call back at the end of june. Also that I might have to wait till September to get my taxes. That is utterly ridiculous along with the countless of vague and inconsistent excuses to wait since February of 2023 all the way to September 2023 just because they have one W-2 to review. I hope I get my taxes even then!! This is a big Injustice for people like me. I am a single mom with two kids at home I barely can afford food after paying rent. This money I worked and paid taxes all year on. There is no delay on us having to pay taxes on everything we pay for everyday. Lets delay all the utility and sales tax for 120 days!! By they way the interest on the money is not significant enough to make a difference for all the time that was spent waiting for a refund, due to the number one excuse. Short staff or Number two. Waiting for 1 w-2!I

After waiting over an hour to speak with an IRS representative regarding my 2022 tax return, I learned the IRS counted $13,000 of $16,000 social security received in 2022 as income. There was only three months of earn income available due to being forced into early retirement. The government truly wants people to die and not get social security and the IRS are the enforcers.

This website is not put together especially well. Between having to verify my identity countless times and reset my password (when I even get that far), only for the VERY SAME PASSWORD TO NOT WORK, it's just a nightmare. How is it that small local businesses with tiny budgets can afford efficacious web developers to build their websites that have minimal bugs and errors, but the IRS/Government cannot seem to get high-performers to build and maintain their website? It is mind boggling!

This ID.me thing is crap. If I have to do a "selfie pic" to identity myself, IRS needs to go to TikTok. I'm getting a whopping $14 bucks back this year & 4 hours of computer clicking * selfie crap, still not done. The Dems are the IRS. Future generations are screwed.
