Have used Irmet since 2019. Amazing staff. Always there when you need and are highly recommended. Absolutely amazing.

From the moment I arrived at Irmet Hospital, I knew I was in the safest, most caring hands. This experience is something I could never have imagined doing alone — and the truth is, I was never alone for a single moment.

Dr Ali Bal is an exceptional surgeon, but beyond his outstanding skill, it is his dedication and compassion that truly set him apart. He was present, attentive, and deeply committed to my wellbeing every single day. He checked on me regularly, explained everything clearly, and responded immediately to any concern. Knowing Dr Ali Bal was always there gave me complete trust, reassurance, and peace of mind.

His entire medical team reflects the same exceptional standard of care. The nurses and healthcare staff are truly outstanding — kind, professional, gentle, and always available. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they cared not just for my recovery, but for me as a person.

The domestic and catering staff also deserve special recognition. The hospital is immaculate, the food is nourishing and thoughtfully prepared, and every interaction was warm and respectful. These details matter so much during recovery, and Irmet Hospital excels in all of them.

What makes this hospital truly special is the sense of community and support. The patients support one another, and the hospital team supports us every single day — emotionally as well as medically. This entire experience has been nothing like I imagined; I was supported, reassured, and cared for at every stage.

I am deeply grateful to Dr Ali Bal, his entire team, and everyone at Irmet Hospital for making this journey such a safe, positive, and life-changing experience.

On the whole its been fine and I would come back, however certain things are lacking and could so easily be improved.
On arrival in the evening nobody greeted us for ages. We were just shown into a room by our taxi driver and left. When you’re new and nervous thats not great.
No clinical waste bins in rooms. Maybe this is a Turkish thing?
Towel rails are far too high when you’ve had surgery.
No seating in bathroom, you need this is a shower when you’ve just had surgery.
No drip hooks behind toilet not mobile drip hooks makes it hard to get around safely.
If something it TV or light is broken it takes telling multiple people over several days before it gets fixed.
My room didn’t have privacy curtains so felt quite exposed if someone opened my door.
My blood stained bedding wasn’t changed until I complained at day 4. I don’t know if we were meant to ask the cleaners, in the UK nurses do it every morning so no idea what the routine is here.
Its very noisy at night, staff and patients don’t lower their voices when chatting in the corridor. One night in particular was bad but nurses won’t ask patients to be quiet.
Most of the nurses are lovely as are the cleaners and catering staff. Just a few thoughtful tweaks would make all the difference. Big shout out to Benji and the nurse who washes hair. They were both great and should be recognised for their great service.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Just two weeks ago I had tummy tuck arms lift and liposuction back at Irmet international. Firstly I’d like to thank my coordinator Farah a beautiful soul with so much professionalism, I was onto Ekol hospital previously for same surgery of which i was not treated good by the coordinator, all she’s about is to pay, I did paid and she never pick call back, very disappointed in the approach I received form Ekol.
Yea! My surgeon, the very Shy Dr Kurt😂, he does know what what to draw on you, I had mine surgery In November, am healing gracefully, happy with my result so far, still swollen which is part of the process, Dr Kurt don’t get the recognition he deserves, he’s a fantastic Dr, Appreciate everyone in İrmet, they’re helpful, caring from the nurses to the cleaner to the kitchen granny’s and the coordinators. Thank you for making me feel welcome and the love you all shown to everyone. Farah thank you for guiding me,it’s much appreciated. Guys Dr Kurt is a fantastic surgeon 🫡

I never normally write reviews but I just wanted to write a review for this amazing hospital. I travelled to İrmet from the UK in hopes of having a TT. Unfortunately due to my blood levels being low I couldn’t proceed. The doctors and nurses at this hospital were excellent, they sourced platelets to be infused in hopes of boosting my levels and they also managed to source other medicines that I needed (unfortunately they were too expensive) the care and compassion I received was great. You really cannot say a bad word about the care from the staff here. Even down to the cleaners, co-ordinators, translators etc. I will definitely be coming back once my levels are high enough!

Im the support person so I got to stay and eat for free. The patients here are cool and chatty. Good company and support here from them. The staff here on the other hand are slack. No support really. Just here to do their job I suppose. Lack of encouragement as well. I would pick a couple of the staff that pay attention than that nah lol. Staff here are very noisy no consideration for the patients very loud here. Food is terrible I suppose they are trying though. Been here about a week now. Heading to the airport today. Ty.

I was in discussions to undergo surgery at this hospital. In coordination with someone associated with the hospital called Romeo, we defined the procedures, and I was told that in order to secure the date and the agreed price, I would need to make a payment of €100. I immediately made that payment and sent the proof of transfer.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel and asked if they could refund that amount as I would no longer proceed with the surgery. They said yes and that they would start the process, explaining that it was handled by an external company and it would take three weeks for the money to be returned to my account. This was on 23/09/2025.

It is now 11/11/2025 and I still haven’t received the refund. They continue using the excuse of an external company but are not able to provide the name of this supposed company. I send messages and no one replies.

I went for my Bariatric procedure, It was an amazing experience I was picked up from the airport on time, arrived at the hospital and was greeted by the most amazing stuff, the surgery and post of care were amazing and they were really accommodating. Only concern was post surgical follow up and checking up on patient isn't something that they focus on, they still answer any and al concerns as long as you personally reach out. I also loved the surgeon he was really kind, sweet and accommodating even helped me in deciding the surgery subtype and also scar placements. Overall amazing experience.

P.s: Always take new notes of USD or whatever agreed upon currency cause they like only accept good and new notes.

I went to Irmet Hospital for a facelift and unfortunately had a terrible experience. I was under anesthesia for 11 hours, even though the procedure was supposed to take around 5 hours. I have no idea what happened during that extra time, and no one has ever explained it to me.

When I woke up, I was in immense pain and could not walk properly for several days. No one would tell me why. I was later told it was a burn caused by a heating pad. When I returned to the UK and went to hospital, I was told I had been scalded, not just bruised or sore. I also suffered nerve damage from the injury.

Irmet Hospital ignored my emails for months, and when they finally replied, they claimed the injury was from “lying down for a long time,” which is completely untrue. The coordinator never followed up to see if I was okay — I had to constantly chase for answers.

I went in for a facelift and came out with pain, injuries, and trauma. I feel they have been dishonest and have shown no care or responsibility for what happened.

I am extremely upset and disappointed with the treatment I received.

The staff made my experience great. I was treated very well which also assisted with my recovery.

I am absolutely delighted with my experience at this clinic. Everything was perfect — from the high level of professionalism of the doctors and nurses to the excellent equipment and thorough preoperative examinations. I especially appreciated the leg preparation before surgery (compression massage) — it is an excellent preventive measure against thromboembolic complications, and it made me feel well cared for.
I recovered from the bariatric surgery remarkably well. The postoperative care was outstanding, and my surgeon Dr.Isa Kaman, is a true top-level professional. My incisions healed without any complications, and I am steadily losing weight. I’m genuinely happy that I chose this clinic — it was the best decision I could have made.

I had my gastric sleeve operation done November 2023 and it's my fault for not writing a review sooner!

Honestly when it comes to the travel arrangements and hospital ward arrangements absolultly wonderful it was smooth sailing didn't worry about a thing had assistance all the way, although the English is a little limited I still engaged in nice conversation with Google translate.

The hospital standard and process amazing aswell I had a room with 2 beds although I went solo I appreciated the room and the space, had a tv so was great to log into my prime and netflix.

The translators throughout the whole process were great they were informing me with ease.

The doctors, nurses, so what I will say is that the nurses were fab some better than others like normal in other hospitals of course but they also knew english so the barrier wasn't too difficult, but very attentive in checking up and whenever I needed, it was cold in the room but I didn't think to ask if they could do something about that. The doctor he would visit aswell he always asks any problems and any concerns.

The only think I would nitpick as a Muslim woman who wears a hijab thinking that in turkey there's a big Muslim population that there would be some understanding around my hair covering (which I just used a beanie as I didn't want to make it hard for them to deal with) and I felt that they didn't give the sensitivity regarding entering your room or even acknowledging that I was a hijab hense them asking why I wore it and looking like it's the first time they've heard about a hijab. But I say that not in a way that it was offensive is was a bit annoying especially after I told them I cover nothing changed regarding entering the room they knock and enter straight away without waiting to see if I'm even deacent. So I would just say be mindful in the sense that be covered 24 7 instead of thinking since it's your room you can treat it like it's your home. Again it didn't make me angry or like upset it's just a reminder that the sensitivity is different compared to the uk where they value your privacy and wait untill you're ready before coming in etc. But for non hijab this wouldn't be a problem unless you change your clothes outside the bathroom for example.

The operation was a success the nutritionist was amazing make sure when you pay for it keep it in pounds (I exchanged it to lira and big mistake as they accept only in £ so I had to pay a difference when they exchanged it.

The process is swift and efficient. And I actually stayed for around 5 days which is plenty of time to recover which is great instrsdnof a quick send off like other packages.

Alina the person of contact was amazing super friendly and informative made me feel at ease.

As long as you listen to the doctors/nurses about recovery everything went amazingly

1000000% reccomend this place its clean tidy and very good! Very professional no other organs came out my body I would even consider going back to them for other procedures if I ever need.

Im so glad I chose irmet to have my surgery, the nurses and staff are amazing. It's clean, welcoming and friendly. After coming out of such a big surgery I felt so weak and vulnerable but the nurses were on hand constantly to help with whatever I needed and make sure that I was ok, they honestly cant do enough. I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair and 360 lipo and my results are beyond what I could have wished for or imagined, my surgeon was Dr Kadir. If I decide to have anything else in the future I would 100% be returning to irmet.

Perfect, was looked after amazingly, everyone from the cleaners to the porters, amazing.

The hospital is very clean, cleanerd on the ward all day constantly cleaning. Every single member of staff have been amazing! The food plentiful and nutritious. The care and skill of the Drs and Surgeon are the best I have had anywhere. I wouldn't hesitate to come again or recommend it
