Fraud statements by this company like they can remove
Trustees. Trustees have statutory powers to manage pensions. Very poor performance. Will not fix problems. Long list over years of fraud statements Irish Life does not have right to make law.

Irish Life Health have no issue taking your money but don’t provide the services set out in the policy.
They are impossible to reason with and are basically a scam.

Staff in customer services were a disgrace until I got through to complaints dept and then my claim was dealt with efficiently and I got my money back for the claim

Scum. Ignores actual illnesses and has their paid for "independant" doctors deny claims with there being a clear incentive for these doctors to do so despite significant evidence and reports to the contrary. As someone who did work in the industry their decision making and processes around chronic debillitating illnesses are disgusting if not straight up dangerous. I would encourage everyone and anyone to seek cover for anything elsewhere, their fund management services alone should be enough to keep companies away never mind their vile insurance practices. If ever there were an instuitution that deserved to be torn down and scattered to the wind it's Irish Life.

UPDATE: 25 days later and i have still not heard from anyone. i have written your customer service, your corporate team and the general mail.

Update: 14 days later and still no response. i have written every mail adress that i can find on your website. What is going on? this is crazy treatment from your corporate team. i am working for one of you largest clients and cant get a respone

UPDATE: 4 days later and i haven't heard back from the customer care mail or the mail that i originally contacted. Pretty shitty service.

I have been writing back and forth with them for a few weeks now about a pretty standard process. Every time i write it takes 5-10 days for them to respond on the same thread.

AVOID. It's a scam. I had a car accident and spinal surgery and they gave over 5 different reasons not to cover each time to waste time. It's been nearly a year and I'm getting the bills after the surgery now. They hope you just go away. They said my surgeon filled out the wrong side of surgery on the forms. Need to prove I had a car accident etc etc. However now they are saying it's preexisting condition or a condition not previously covered by them? I have had to undergo the headache of recruiting a legal team to dispute this. I'm a doctor and have experience in the field the surgery was in. I know they are waffling around with terms to try and put me off.

Excellent service dealing with all aspects of claim

I am very concerned that Irish life issued a euro cheques to me in the UK whilst their team are fully aware English banks no longer accept overseas cheques only transfers. This can only be a payment delay tactic. Be Aware, even putting an IBAN number on the claim form does not prevent them from issuing a cheque.

My overall health care and claims have been dealt with since I joined Irish Life very satisfactorily.

If I could give zero stars I would. Paying for this for years, and thankfully haven't needed it. But I injured my back and physio is included in my policy. I am now 6 weeks trying to get this sorted. No communication. No updates. Recommended me to a physio that did not know what their Back Up program was, and wanted me to pay. Received a feedback review, and gave them a terrible review and still no contact. No remedy. I now give up. I will pay for my own physio. I will never use these again. Avoid. Go to VHI.

i am a new customer moving from another provider and there was confusion regarding buy in time which shouldnt have happened and i shouldnt have had to worry about it . after all i had enough on my mind
otherwise once that was clarified excellent
