Scam company, they don’t payout to you

Scam company, stay away.
They verified my account, and then allowed me to collect payments from my customers.

Then they suspended my account asking for verification, giving me a big list of documents which I don’t have most of it.

End of story, they don’t want to payout to you.

STAY AWAY, SEARCH MORE TO FIND A REPUTABLE COMPANY. DO NOT SIGNUP FOR DODGY COMPANIES LIKE IPAYMY

As a licensed financial institution and payment service provider, we are bound by stringent Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) regulations. These measures are in place to safeguard our clients’ funds and prevent abuse of the financial system.

Upon registering with ipaymy, you agreed to our Terms and Conditions, which outline the necessity of such cases where we may require additional information regarding your business and/or payment activities. We understand that providing these documents may seem burdensome, but they are crucial for compliance purposes.

Our records indicate that after your initial transaction, we reached out to you multiple times via email and phone between February 16th and February 21st to request the necessary information. The requested information consists of 4 of our standard documentation ranging from personal ID to the confirmation of bank account ownership which are required for identity verification. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response despite our efforts to communicate transparently about the next steps should we not receive the requested information. As a result, we were regrettably obliged to return the funds to you on February 26th.

We want to emphasize that ipaymy has not withheld any funds deliberately and we regularly process thousands of payments on behalf of our clients. Our priority is to fulfill our service obligations to all clients while upholding regulatory standards.
Please note, that your account has been temporarily suspended pending the provision of the requested documents, and we are committed to assisting you through this process.

email mentioned effective 1 Mar 2024, but failed to mention the new fees are effective immediately for new payments

the 1 Mar 2024 is misleading .. what is the point of sending that email

It was not our intention to mislead our users in any way, and we understand your frustration. The email was intended to provide advanced notification that a minimum transaction fee and fund safeguarding feature would go into effect for existing scheduled payments on 1 March. This communication was specifically sent to users who had applicable scheduled payments from 1 March onwards. We can appreciate that this may not have been clear regarding how newly created payments before that date would have been affected.

Our intention in providing advanced notice for scheduled payments was to ensure there were no surprises during payment reconciliation.

To maintain transparency of our services and pricing structure, all relevant fees are itemized with corresponding tooltips on the checkout page, providing users with detailed information before confirming their transactions.

Cannot send money to accounts which are…

Cannot send money to accounts which are virtual accts .. eg some companies have invoices which are payable to virtual acct but ipaymy doesn’t support which is kinda disappointing

Hi Kevin, thank you for your review and feedback on the acceptance of virtual accounts. We tried to reach out to you separately to further understand which virtual account you are looking to make a payment to but unfortunately haven't heard back.

ipaymy is able to pay to virtually any bank that accepts bank transfer from our corresponding banks. We do support payments to certain virtual accounts such as TrustBank as bank transfer is an accepted mode of transfer. We will continue to expand this list as virtual bands incorporate bank transfers as a mode of accepting payments.
