Hit Pay review- love it !

I love using HitPay — it’s incredibly easy to use and very straightforward, even for beginners. The setup was quick, and everything works smoothly. Their customer service is also excellent; the team is responsive, helpful, and solves issues efficiently. Overall, it’s a very effective solution for managing payments, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Using hitpay has improved our operational efficiency. As an SME, cost and reliability are critical, and they delivered on both. Their customer support team is responsive, and the onboarding process was smooth. We’ve seen measurable improvements in productivity within just a few months.

Transitioning from sole prop

I've been with HitPay since 2023. Lately we transitioned to Sdn Bhd and of course that created chaos because a lot administrative and banking shifts. Thank you the compliance team, particularly Tracy, Mel and Via for helping me get things in line. Considering the difficulties we had with certain administrative snags, they finally helped me transition to my new company without disrupting the existing flow of business.

Great experience

Easy to integrate. I'm a non coder so it's good for me. Payments are simple, reliable, and everything is easy to manage in one place. It saves us time and lets us focus more on the business.

Your account was removed as part of our routine dormant account review, which is conducted in line with regulatory requirements. Accounts with no transaction activity over an extended period (12 months) are flagged as inactive and may be deactivated accordingly. Prior to this, we did send out an email notification to keep you informed, but we’re sorry if this may have been missed or unclear.

If your primary intention is to use our platform for referrals, we recommend signing up for a partner account instead. This option is specifically designed for referral-based use cases and will not be affected by dormant account reviews, while still allowing you to earn commissions. Worst Payment Processor

One of the worst payment processor I've worked on.

1. They never specify the right payment methods in their documentation and its been missing you need to contact the support to get what is the right payload for creating transactions.

2. Sandbox fails, they updated to deprecate the webhook url as a payload so we are testing to move on into the new implementation but webhook are not sending.

They are quick to resolve the issue on sanbox.

Highly recommended for payment gateway

Onboarding had some delay but it was under expectation. But the features is undoubtedly top quality. and customer support is superb, especially tracy, via and paul. They even reply to me at midnight and they definitely know what they're doing. Highly recommend using hitpay

friendly and informative!

She even responded to us after office hours. I left out 1 star cos i havent use the system yet. Will come back and review again with 5 star if system is great and easy to use.

Terrific

Terrific. The platform itself is wonderful, feature-rich and seamelssly integrates our POS and online website. But I would emphasise what makes Hitpay different is the service. Onboarding was miles ahead of competitors, and the service doesn't stop after you sign-up. Hoping they continue to succeed because we couldn't recommend highly enough.

DO NOT USE THIS PAYMENT GATEWAY!

I am extremely disappointed with HitPay’s handling of chargebacks.
Even after providing full invoice details, delivery proof, clear terms & conditions state in website and client information, HitPay still deducted the disputed amount and charged an additional fee.

What shocked me the most is that HitPay did not support the merchant at all, even though I delivered the service as promised. Instead, they sided with the customer’s bank immediately and placed the financial burden entirely on me.

I did nothing wrong, yet I was forced into a negative balance and told to “settle it,” or my account would be restricted. This is very unfair to small business owners who rely on payment gateways for honest work.

If you run a small business, be aware:
HitPay’s system offers zero protection for merchants when customers file false or mistaken chargebacks. You will lose the money AND pay the fees.

I can no longer trust HitPay, and I would strongly recommend other business owners to consider platforms with better merchant protection.

Chargebacks are initiated and decided by the cardholder’s bank, and unfortunately, the final outcome is determined by the bank based on their assessment of the case—not by HitPay. While we do our best to submit all evidence provided by the merchant (such as invoices, delivery proof, and terms & conditions), the bank may still rule in favor of the cardholder. In such cases, the disputed amount and chargeback fee are applied in accordance with card network rules.

We understand how this can feel unfair, and we truly empathize with the impact this has on your business. Our team is always available to help guide merchants through the chargeback process and share best practices to help reduce future disputes.
