I contacted Invamed today, 22nd July 2026 due to a meltdown of batteries. Our initial discovery while charging was a horrible fishy smell throughout our house. We eventually checked the batteries, as the smell seemed to be coming from that location, to find the smell was indeed coming from the batteries and the casing was so hot it couldnt even be touched! On contacting the seller i was advised a technician would contact me. When the technician contacted me he asked how often i charged the scooter, this was after i told him about the smell and temperature, i told him how often and got asked for pictures of the 2 sides of the scooter, front and back, and the battery casing! At no time was i told that this had been the following "A fishy or sulfur ("rotten egg") smell combined with overheating in a 38Ah AGM battery is a major warning sign. It usually indicates that an internal short-circuit has occurred, or your charger is heavily overcharging the battery. When an AGM battery suffers these symptoms, it means the internal electrolyte is boiling, releasing toxic/flammable hydrogen sulfide gas, and is at risk of thermal runaway or explosion". My whole family could have suffered from this not to mention my house burning down and all a technician was interested in was pictures of the scooter!!!! After a bit of investigation work, i have discovered that the charger they supplied with the scooter when purchased, although on top is exactly the same as advertised on their site, on the back it gives the information on the charger which is the wrong charger for our scooter batteries and we have been lucky that this has not happened before now. The batteries are now unusable and ironically like i seen a few reviews, the scooter is 2 days over its warranty so going by the lack of interest today, who pays for replacement batteries and casing??? I am not interested in excuses and tossing emails back and forth, lets see if they are interested in rectifying this or proving all the negative reviews right!!

Good little mobility scooter, fast delivery. Goes up slight hills fine at slow speed but get a more powerful one if you live on a steep bank or have steep banks in your travels.

After doing plenty of research found this scooter , which fitted well being 6ft plus tall, giving plenty of room for me, having tried various other makes and a local mobility shop who wanted to sell me a 2 grand scooter that was to small. good all round spec roma denver plus. happy customer.
