Cannot recommend In Gear driving school enough!! 🙌🏻 Passed my test first time yesterday. Did all my lessons and test preparations with Paul, he is a brilliant teacher and made me feel so confident in my driving and comfortable in the car from day 1. Thanks again to Paul & Ingear I’m thrilled!

The whole In Gear team are a family. Learning to drive with my instructor Paul was actually enjoyable. I looked forward to the lessons because he puts you at ease and helps you gain the confidence needed to drive safely and competently.

I have been working with Vicki for the last number of months to prepare for the driving test and passed today on my first try! Her instruction was clear and considered and helped me to gain confidence on the road. She always had my best interests at heart and helped me to improve my driving in every lesson. She always took the time to make sure I understood things and helped me with every step of the process. I would definitely recommend In Gear Driving School to anyone else hoping to pass their test in the Blanchardstown, Finglas, or Navan areas.

I would highly recommend In Gear. I have heard from friends the horror stories of driving instructors who shout and give out to them for mistakes made. Learning to drive with Paul was such a pleasant experience, he really built my confidence with his positive attitude and encouragement. Unlike some other driving instructors, he is not there to make money off of you. We ended up doing 14 hours together and he only charged me for the 12. He didn't try convince me to book more lessons to get more money, he had genuine confidence in me that with practice on my own, I could pass. He was right! I passed first time! Both my sister and my bestfriend passed with him first time and now I can see why! I had thought maybe Paul is an exception with his positive style of teaching but I did a pretest with another instructor in In Gear, Ed, who was just as encouraging and helpful. He continuously made sure I understood what he was saying and that he was explaining it in a way that was clear. The pretest was two days before my test and the directions he provided me with was paramount to me passing the test. I understand how busy In Gear is (and I can see why) but I would definitely recommend trying to book in with them, it is definitely worth it! As Paul always says, if he offered €10,000 to take away my full license, would I take it? and the answer is definitely no! The freedom of being able to drive alone is unbelievable, thank you In Gear!

Beware of this crowd with vouchers. I got vouchers for my daughters birthday in September 2019 (6 lessons) NO EXPIRY DATE ON THE VOUCHERS AND NOT TOLD OF ONE ON PURCHASE. Then covid hit in March 2020 there was a huge backlog with theory tests and couldn’t get one until way after covid restrictions. I was about to get more vouchers for my son and I enquired about my daughters ones. He refused to honour my vouchers, we just missed the new regulations on 5 year date of expiry which came in December 2019. He said he’d honour 2 lessons after paying over €200. We are ordinary people and don’t have €200, morally he should have honoured them, but money more important than morality and loyalty to customers with this place. Beware, they only want your money. He lost a lost of business as I would have at least purchased 24 lessons as I’ve two kids learning. Anyway, not a nice way to treat customers.

I passed by test first time today- thanks to Kim in IN Gear driving school! I really enjoyed my lessons with Kim. He was very professional, encouraging and patient. Kim was extremely knowledgeable of the routes for the test. He always gave great tips and advice which really helped. I would highly recommend Kim and IN Gear driving school. He was very calm, encouraging and positive and put me at ease prior to my test too.

I was told they were booked out and I’d be put on a waiting list. Two months later on the date they said I would start, I contacted them and they said I wasn’t on a waiting list. I asked again for an approximate date and they just said “I’ll be contacted when someone is free”. Terrible customer service. Time wasters

My experience with In Gear was absolutely fantastic. From the beginning when I started my lessons with Damir, who thought me the skills on how to drive safely, to Kim, who took over when I began pre tests and helped me gain more confidence behind the wheel, allowing me to pass my test.

To both Damir and Kim I must give the biggest thanks, without yous it wouldn’t have been possible and for anyone looking to begin lessons or in need of help before a test, In Gear driving school is the one for you!

Recently needed to upgrade from automatic to a manual licence, I used in gear to help me achieve this 1st time. My instructor Kim was excellent in every aspect, put me at ease, gave me homework, things to improve on and assured me I would be good to pass the test if I followed his advice and he wasn't wrong. 2 days before my test disaster struck Kim's car broke down ( I was doing my test in his car) and before I could even start to panic Kim had sorted Damhir another in gear instructor for my final pre test in a similar vehicle, Damhirs final hints and tips also helped me pass 1st time. 2 great instructors and I would recommend either to everyone learning to drive and looking to pass their test. Both are experts in Mulhuddart and Finglas routes

In gear driving school was great. My instructor Kim was very professional and wasn't afraid to hold back on where I needed to improve. He never wasted my time or money. Gave me advice I needed at the right time and encouraged me to practice on my own time too. I passed first time no doubt due to the extra lessons on the days leading to the test. Can't thank him enough.

Havnt a bad word to say thanks to ingest I’m now a fully licensed driver. And a big thank you to Norah who could of done more to help me would recommend this driving school to anybody I have done 2 previous test with other schools and was unsuccessful but Norah listened to me and we worked on the problems I had
