Great service
Great service. I opened this account as a student and during the years I was a client I never had any issue. Their app and online services are clear and accessible and the most important thing, you do not need to physically go to the bank for any minor transactions or changes you want to make, you can do it all through the app - which is why I give 5 stars :) Many other banks in Romania are behind and make it so much more difficult to get things done by requiring physical presence; not the case with ING.
Thank you ING, I will happily choose you next time I will need a bank service in Romania.

Can you f...make your customer support to f... work and anwser f... emails or not? half month of waiting for simple information. Bad quality of service is main thing I want to close account with you. Worse bank I ever experianced in my life.
Account blocked for no reason!
About 1 month ago I realised I had my ING Romania account blocked for a couple of months. Since I no longer live in Romania, I use the account very rarely, so it took a while to realise I can’t access a significant amount of money. I never received any communication from them telling me that my account was blocked, I only noticed when I wanted to transfer money between accounts. I spoke with multiple people from ING during the past month and my account is still blocked because they are the most incapable human beings that work in any financial institution worldwide I ever experienced. I provided them all the required documents to unblock the account and still nothing, they can’t even tell me why my account is still blocked… they are an absolute joke of a bank, please don’t use their services if you ever want to access your hard earned money…
Instant transfers from Revolut rejected by ING
I recently had to make a payment from personal Revolut account to a company with accounts at ING. I was rejected by ING all transactions. ING did not provide to Revolut any reason for rejections (Revolut support confirmed this). I also mention that previous transactions to same account worked. I complaining to ING and i got no reason for rejections. They always invoked client confidentiality as reason for not giving any information although I wasn't asking about their ING client. At the same time, the supplier (intended beneficiary) of my failed transfers also complained to them, and they did confirm me that ING stopped all instant payments from Revolut bank and recommended them to ask the customers to not make instant payments. As a result the supplier is now opening accounts at another bank in order not to loose customers. I mention that at the time of writing I am also a customer of ING, but with intention to liquidate my accounts with them as soon as possible.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I was in Romania for one month .I intended to move my money from Raiffeisen Bank to ING (Bucharest/ Obor branch).I went there with my Passport showing my Romanian CNP Social security) being a Romanian Passport ;on the PP was written that I am a Romanian citizen living in other country; they insisted with the sky to show them my Driver License to show my address. Who cares where do I live in New York(are they going to come to see if I am still there? New York has 9 million people moving all the time(this paysans coming from the nearby "Piata" have no idea about it; the government is not going to change the Driver License every time. I finally found the document(I didn't know I have it in the handbag. The young paysan looked at it and fond it not being good because will expire next month and half. She nastily refused to help me; she was the Interpol .I told her that she is a monument of stupidity, and she answered me back:" Thank you, you too" Where did they find this half humans to work for them ?Stupid, incompetent, mentally blocked and nasty. So, somebody is coming to give you money, is giving you the document with picture and the info; the result: you refuse the person the chance to give your bank a lot of money. WHERE IN THE WORLD YOU FOUND THIS "TOAPE"? And her boss had nothing to say about her behavior. Teach them people, to be professional, not beat their belly with me. I am the customer who is bringing money to the bank, who is making their salary; without me, the customer, they are NOTHING!!! She is not there to fight me, no matter what I am saying; as professional she apologias for the situation ,not fight me back. In here, she will be out(off) the next 10 minutes. In there no, because they are ALL THE SAME;NO EDUCATION,NO MANIERES,NO PROFESSIONALIM. NOTHING!!! THE 4TH WORLD UNDEVELOPPED COUNTRY AND PEOPLE!!! Teach this .....how to behave in the NEW World( not in their villages) UNBELIEVEBAL!!!HORRIBLE! And they are almost all the same! They will need 100 years to change, to really leave their villages!

Nu recomand aceasta banca din nenumărate motive : ești un client absolut anonim , la ivirea unei situații problema trebuie sa explici de n ori la n angajați problema de fiecare data din nou ( indiferent dacă te duci intr-o filiala sau contactezi banca telefonic ) ; reclamațiile nu sânt luate in considerare :primești un răspuns tipizat de genul ca îți mulțumesc ca ii sesizezi de problema respectivă și că vor lua măsuri însă nu se corectează absolut nimic ! Nu poti ajunge sa îți expui problema la etajele superioare , șefii sânt de invizibili , intangibili și sacri așa încât ești la mâna unor angajați foarte politicoși dar total nepregătiți și neștiutori care trenează la nesfârșit problemele ! Pe scurt EVITAȚI BANCA ING !!!

Fugiti de ei, caci informeaza gresit clientii pentru a scoate mai multi bani, practic te prostesc ca apoi sa platesti o suma mai mare de bani daca iei un credit de la ei. Asta au facut in cazul meu.
Am fost informati gresit despre procedura de rambursare anticipata a creditului si ne-am trezit dupa 3 ani ca creditul e inca activ si ca inca mai am de platit rate. Ei sustin ca noi nu am cerut rambursarea anticipata a creditului, DESI S-A INTRAT IN SUCURSALA SI S-A DISCUTAT CU UN CONSULTANT ING. Ei sustin ca acea discutie nu a avut loc si ca noi nu am cerut rambursarea anticipata a creditului. Am cerut filmarile video din sucursala si au refuzat sa raspunda cu privire la acest subiect. Sunt foarte tupeisti si obraznici la relatii cu clientii si te expediaza fara sa rezolve problema!

Fiica mea a avut un cont în ING bank România pe care la închis. Firma la care lucrează având cont pentru salarii într-o alta banca.eu lucrând peste hotare am dorit sa ii fac o surpriza plăcută care a avut un revers al medaliei neplăcut pentru mine.Fiica mea nu a menționat în discuții despre închiderea contului ING. Bani erau trimiși sporadic mic surprize nu era abonata la salariul meu.Eu dorind sa o surprind în mod plăcut făceam mici transferuri.Contul fiind închis de doi ani și sumele trebuiau sa fie returnate expeditorului în acea situație.A fost una de 50 de euro una de 40 și una de 100.Returnata a fost doar cea de 40.Banka mea dacă erau returnate sumele ar fi apărut în contul meu.Ultima 100 de euro fiind transferata pe 16 când transferul este respins în următoarea zi ești informat.Problema fiind ultima depunere .Ce sa înțeleg ING BANK ESTE O GAURA NEAGRA.NU SUNT SINGURA PERSOANA CARE A TRANSFERAT BANI ÎNTR-UN CONT ÎNCHIS. ING BANK ESTE O ZONA CREPUSCULARA.AM SESIZAT TELEFONIC FARA NICIUN REZULTAT

Abhorrent policies
1. Called customer service 1 month ago to update my information
2. Customer service said all ok and will come back if more info needed
3. 1 month later I get sms that account has been blocked because I did not update my information
4. I call customer service again and ask why they blocked account
5. customer service says I need to send proof of address, I say I already sent a copy from the driver's license 1 month ago and ask if that is not enough then customer service says they can see it
6. Customer service asks AGAIN about employer name and business area. I told them the business area again and asked why was I not contacted
7. Customer service says they tried to call but I did not answer and I asked why was I not sent an email in the age of technology
8. My account is now blocked and I asked when will I know that the "data update" is complete
9. They told me to wait for them to contact me because they cannot tell me when my information update will be validated
Security and customer service issue
After years of working with this bank I was overall happy with it and was under the impression that I have a good deal with them. Yesterday a charge was made on my bank account without my permission and instantly I called customer support like a normal man to block the transaction. Not only they can’t help me with a simple request of a chargeback/refund. Apparently after all the security they have people still can charge you money without your consent. No 3d secure or nothing. I told them I don’t recognize the transaction and I didn’t do any setting or contract. The customer support agent just told like she didn’t even care to go to the app and that there is nothing she can do. I found another bank which provides me with everything I need and more. Not to mention ING HomeBank app interface which looks like underpaid college students did it. At least on my other bank I can request straight from the bank a chargeback. That’s why I moved most of my money to the other bank.

I’m getting my salary paid in ING unfortunately. I am in Greece and they wanted me to go to their office to update some details after years I am using it. I told them I’m not leaving there anymore and we did the update on the phone. For five days now they have blocked my account for this reason and I can’t use any of my salary, I can’t eat.. I can’t pay my rent and they will soon kick me out. When I’m telling them on the phone, they are only replying that they don’t know when it will be resolved. So I don’t know when I can buy food again or anything else. I need to beg so I can touch the money I worked on. Everyone who thinks to open an account just stay far far away from ING
