No noticeable road noise difference after installing a 4’ x 5’ window facing traffic.

Works well. Not that easy to measure and install acurately. A bit expensive for what they are.

Not near has good as promised. Did help a little with outside noise. A LITTLE! Will not purchase or recommend to anyone due to high cost with small return.

Terrific solution to storm windows. A bit tricky to put in and take out correctly and even in big urban areas the company reps are relatively hard to find and change hands making customer service tricky as well.

The windows are okay for insulation but sound reduction is not as good as we had hoped for. Customer service was slow and lacking in responding to pre-purchase questions. The installer did a decent job and was clean and respectful.

Our Indows are definitely worth the investment.

These additions solved a very long search for an appropriate, affordable solution to single pane Palladian type half round windows. Could NOT be more satisfied!!

They were the perfect solution to our porch windows. Much more economical than replacing the old windows and they work great.

The Indow Windows have definitely improved my heat retention in the winter and prevented heat from coming in in the summer. I love that I was able to maintain the historic windows in my house, and the price was much better than replacing 14 six-pane windows.

I requested a representative in the Indianapolis area to come out to do a consultation and show me the product I was advised that the corporate office would mail me out a measuring devise to perform my own measurements. This was intimidating to me, because of the cost of the product, so I contacted a competitor company in the area and they were much more cost effective and provided excellent support and customer service.
It also, took over 3 weeks for James at Indow Windows to initially contact me back with any information about the product. I expected a call within a few days and this failed to happen.

I have Indows on 80% of the windows in my 1939 brick Georgian in Chicago. I couldn’t be happier with the product and with my distributor. Oh sure, I could’ve tossed out my beautiful, original-to-the-house, 6 over 6 double hung sashes and gotten replacement ones but .... NEVER! They add so much character to the house both inside and out. Partnered as they now are with Indows, I am warm and quiet inside. (I got acoustic grade because of O’Hare flights in the sky above but what a help with street noise, as well.). Indows are a wonderful product! They insulate against temperatures both hot and cold, reduce noise, and, are a solution for homeowners like me who want to save those beautiful, original wood sashes while improving interior comfort. I ordered the acoustic grade undoes to block out noise from street bands outside my downtown Chicago apartment. In short, the indows do not block out a significant amount of the noise. Sadly, the small reduction in noise was not worth the significant cost of the indows.

New windows are really expensive and can ruin the look of a house. These Indows are not the cheapest inserts on the market, but they are really clever, do not require permanent frames, are made very precisely (none of my hundred year windows were still square) and our home was a lot warmer this winter because of them.

Replacement window salespeople promise the world in terms of ease and energy savings and rarely deliver. These are such a simple alternative that do just as good a job.
