I moved into an apartment next to the highway and there was, needless to say, a lot of traffic noise. I looked Into doing my own plexiglass inserts but it is a major pain to figure out what size you need, etc. I found indow and it is definitely pricey, but you get what you pay for. Their system is great. I have windows where I could put a 6 inch gap between the window and the insert and, holy cow, the result was incredible. I seriously can’t hear any cars on the highway except the big trucks that you can’t block without lead lined walls. The essential is I am sleeping much better and I am grateful to Indow. Great service and good system.

Very easy process that got great results.

Did absolutely nothing. We can't return as the company offers ZERO garentee which should have been a huge red flag. There is no help provided by the company what so ever. Huge scam that means we are out a lot of money and still dealing with so much traffic noise making our house inhabitable. Save yourself the hassle and go with a company that stands behind their product and can provide a solution.

This fall I ordered and installed five Indow Window inserts in my bedroom. Last winter (without my inserts), during the coldest of days I had my wall heater unit set near 80 degrees F, the windows were covered with ice, and I was still cold inside my room while wearing a heat and heavy wool sweaters. Last night's temperature reached -9 degrees F, and strong wind gusts chilled conditions further. I had my heater unit set to 69 degrees F, the windows had minimal to no frost formation, and I was comfortable walking around my room without a hat and only a light sweatshirt. Wonderful!

Easy to place, great customer service and minimal/no impact on the architectural integrity of my 1824 home (approved by my state's historic society for use). Hands down best purchase of the year. Thank you Indow Windows!

After being quoted $10,000 to replace a single pane double hung window in our finished attic (heritage home awkward location), I was looking for a more cost effective solution for noise and draft insulation. The Indow solution worked perfectly at a fraction of the price. The phone consultation provided needed advice and the online ordering was extremely convenient and easy. Clear and helpful instructions, including measurement instructions were provided along the way. Communications were timely and clear. The product was fabricated and shipped in a timely fashion and arrived in perfect shape. Installation was incredibly easy and the final product looks great and fits perfectly. I highly recommend this product !

I ordered these for a home which had lost all of its original interior storm windows to foolish previous owners. The measurement kit was easy to use and all of the windows arrived intact and fit properly. I probably spent more time getting them out of the box than I did installing them. I purchased mine for additional insulation and I look forward to the reduction in cold drafts this winter.

I ordered 2 windows at a cost of $1200.00. They did nothing for muting the sound of outside noise. I didn't expect a miracle, but I did expect some difference. To make sure, I used a decibel meter. No change. They responded quickly and said they would help with possible solutions. I sent pics. That was the last I heard from them. Most of the reviews are good which is why I tried them. But I thought I should let everyone know that they will not work for all cases. My house is only 9 years old with standard construction. I will soon post a Youtube video to show my experience.

I’ve ordered inserts twice now, the process is very easy, I had someone from the team reach out to me and check up on my progress…the customer service is great and responsive. The measuring is made very simple and all together the whole thing was nice and easy and my windows are no longer drafty! The inserts also look great, in fact, you don’t even notice them, they just look like the window. The fit snug and I haven’t had any problems with them popping out or anything.
The only downsides are:
They are kind of pricey but they are custom made in the US, and seem like a quality product that will last so I don’t think the price tag is unfairly high. You get what you pay for is my mentality.
The shipping/manufacturing process takes months…so if you want them for winter, order in summer. I don’t know if this is just a covid / post-covid thing so I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt and not going to take away any starts from the review.

I ordered an indow window for the traffic noise. I spent 1400.00 on the insert and got no noise reduction. I feel I was missed lead by the company that I would get a noise reduction of 50% I have double pane window and a new construction cement block home. Wanted to let consumer know let the buyer beware.

I purchased three inserts for our primary bedroom windows. We live in a downtown area and over the years more and more development has led to increased high rises and traffic noise. I can say these inserts have drastically decreased the noise around us. Loud mufflers and reving engine noise was decreased by 90 percent! Normal outside noice decrease more than that. That makes a world of difference. I actually can sleep through the night now. Super easy to measure, order, and install. Highly recommend!

Ordered my Indows for noise reduction. Works great and even keeps the temperature down. Measuring was easy, the fit is perfect. I am a senior and installation for my very large indows was also easy. I did it myself.

David - Place an order for 3 windows noise reduction inserts about 3 months ago. Got the inserts about 2 weeks ago did installation in about 2 hours for all 3 inserts, fit perfect and reduce the noise buy 98% I have a pickleball courts behind my house ..... All I can say is "NOISE is gone"....

The acoustic-grade indows are great for reducing road noise in my home studio. I even installed one for my skylight and it worked nicely. Now my noise floor is much lower!

I wish I could take a picture to show you how great these Indows look. But I can't because....THEY'RE INVISIBLE!! Heck, even the nicely moulded vinyl or rubber (or whatever the edging material is) looks perfect.

Installation instructions were totally comprehensive. Installation was a breeze, even in this ancient house with ancient rebuilt windows. I can't tell you how happy I am.

Of course, a bit of credit on my end getting the dimensions right. But how could I go wrong with that laser measuring tool.

I'll be ordering 3 more as soon as I can budget it in.

We had a great experience from beginning of the processing working with James Werth who helped us understand how Indows worked and led us through the process! We got our inserts for 5 strategic windows where the highway gives a lot of noise, and we are superbly satisfied with the end result. The noise has been greatly reduced as was promised, so we are infinitely happy and satisfied! Highly recommended and end product fit perfectly!

Yes, they fit and they work! Do follow the measuring guide carefully and they will deliver a truly fitting window insert. We experience road noise but conversely have a lovely view. The noise is down at least by 50% and the inserts did not bother the view. I recommend and will buy again.

We moved into a new house that is on a busy street, and the second winter hit it was SO LOUD outside. I was incredibly anxious and starting to regret our house purchase. I looked into window inserts and after getting quotes from a few companies I decided to go with Indow. They were not the cheapest option (right in the middle price-wise of my research) but they were the only company who provided the measurement tools and customer service I needed.

I was pretty skeptical that these would work. However, now that I've had them in for three weeks, they are AMAZING. We bought the accoustic inserts and I honestly haven't heard any noise in my office since putting them in. I used to hear tons of street noise and a train that goes by once an hour. Now, next to nothing. They were incredibly easy to put in as well. I'm so glad I made the decision to get these. Thanks for helping me love my new house!

Easily scratched, easily damaged, requires special cleaning, dangerous. Lead time is 25 weeks. Measuring and ordering is a headache. Atrocious customer service.
