My partner got her work visa declined after receiving a bad advice from our previous immigration adviser. After that, they didn't even show interest to apply for reconsideration for they know that our case is impossible to win after the advise they have given.
My partner did her research to look for a lawyer who will represent our case better , however, she became unlawful unintentionally and we needed to apply for section 61. Of course, we were so nervous because this can affect our family especially my partner has just given birth to our son. We booked a face to face consultation with Simon and before we even reached their office he already knows what to do with our case. He is so professional and very smart with immigration matters. He guided us and is very sympathetic for he understands how important it is for us and our family to stay together here in New Zealand. After 2 weeks and few days our Section 61 case has been approved and now we are such in relief and is so excited about the future. We are grateful to God and Simon and his team for their concern and assistance. We look forward to work with immigration trust again for our next visa application.

UPDATE 1/11/21: Our Partnership Visa was approved last week. We applied during the three months visitor visa we were able to achieve with Simons guidance under section 61. This Second partnership visa did not come easy we again received a multitude of concerns as PPI from INZ, very similar to our first application which was declined, so it has hard to imagine we could swing their decision this time considering we were declined on many of the same concerns last application. However, this time the new factor was we had guidance from Simon. Simon remained very calm throughout the process and was always one step ahead. Simon guided us on how to approach our visa and PPI Reponses by showing us the best way to structure our information and proofing all our work to make sure we were sticking within his guidelines. He understood what we needed to do and showed us how to do it.
I would like to thank Simon for the incredible news we received. My partner and I can finally plan our future and live life without the worry of being separated.

Update: 15/11/2022

My partner got her residency. It was almost close to impossible as she was illegally residing for 2 weeks in NZ. Thanks to the firm who made things impossible , possible. This is the biggest blessing of our year and it will never be possible without the help of Simon, who is very knowledgeable with all the immigration processes. After a successful application for work visa, my Partnership based resident visa has been approved today..

I had been been on partnership work visa.
Previously I was on essentials work visa but then wanted to change job, so I straightly got advice from Simon.

I have been working with Immigration Trust for over a year and half now so I can assure everyone that Simon and his team at Immigration Trust are the best NZ immigration lawyers and advisors. My parter was unlawful in NZ for almost 12 years due to circumstances out his control. We thought there was no hope for our little family as I consulted multiple lawyers however felt that they weren’t skilled enough in immigration law to be able to assist with our complex situation. I engaged Immigration Trust on the 24th May 2022 with the application being sent on the 21st July. My interim visa was received on the 22 July. My Post study work visa was issued on the 1st September. Total time from engagement to Visa issue was 3 months. Although there were issues that were beyond our control and this took up some time, the overall service provided was excellent

Partnership Resident visa Approved

We came to a situation where we almost give up, I’m living with my partner (NZ citizen) in relationship more than 5 years and we have a son together but because of character waiver problem my visa gets declined, and we don’t really trust immigration advisors anymore because we had bad experience with last few advisors which lead our case to very difficult situation
But with the help of god I just randomly check immigration trust website and I was impressed with the reviews especially with partnership visas and s61 and also minister intervention successful cases, so I decided to contact with Simon.
Simon is very professional, he understand my case & decided to engaged with us and immediately request all my files from INZ to go to the bottom of my case which was very impressive. We have never met Simon in face everything happened through phone call & online portal which is very easy and time saving. We uploaded all the requested documents and followed Simon guidelines.

My case was one of the most challenging cases. It was because
1) INZ declined my first Partnership based work visa application due to character issues.
2) I became unlawful and received a deportation order.
3) a Deportation Appeal (Non-resident) to IPT was successful, and IPT granted me a 12-month open work visa.
4) but when I applied for a Partnership Based Work Visa, believing that my application would be successful, INZ declined my visa, making me unlawful again.
5) INZ refused my following Section 61 request.

However, my ministerial intervention was prepared and submitted after working with Simon. The Associate Minister of Immigration approved our request, and I got a 6-month open work visa. After that Simon start working on my resident visa & after 2 months it’s got approved as well, Simon call me to deliver this good news, I know that it could not have happened without the help from you and your team.
