Our California Medical Insurance would not cover my son while he was attending school out of state. I was referred to Jesse. He conducted a thorough phone interview with me months before my son was scheduled to leave for college. I made it very clear that I needed temporary medical and dental coverage while he attended school out of state. Medical because he was an athlete for the college and dental because he would need his wisdom teeth pulled. We signed up for dental immediately so that we could make the required one year of payments before wisdom teeth would be covered. We signed up for medical just before my son left for college. Here we are 3 years later and $9,000 in USELESS insurance payments...Dental did not cover the wisdom teeth surgery and medical did not cover his sports injury bills. I've tried to reach out to Jesse multiple times in these last 2 years. He was never available and the reps I had to speak to could only provide scripted answers. If you are a Californian looking for temporary out of state coverage, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!

Your request for short-term medical insurance and dental coverage was diligently handled by our team, and we secured policies from highly reputable companies with long-standing histories of reliability dating back to the 1800s.
While it's regrettable that you encountered issues with your coverage, it's important to clarify that any alleged scripted responses do not align with our company's practices. We pride ourselves on transparent and personalized service, evidenced by detailed notes and call recordings from every interaction you've had with our team. Allow me to address the specific concerns you raised:
On 09/12/2022, you contacted our office expressing dissatisfaction with your dental insurance claim denials. Despite our efforts to assist you, including intervention by Eric and attempts to resolve the issue with the carrier, you remained adamant in your stance, eventually opting to cancel the plan against our recommendation.
Subsequently, on 02/07/2024, we notified you via email regarding a lapsed medical insurance payment. Rather than addressing this issue directly, your response mirrored the sentiments expressed in your review.
It's imperative to note that had you approached us with the explanation of benefits for any denied claims (or contacted us at all), we would have promptly contacted your medical insurance company to rectify the situation. This proactive approach to advocacy and resolution is fundamental to our daily operations, as we understand that insurance carriers can make errors that warrant correction.
Your referral to us by your previous broker, along with the thousands of positive reviews spanning our 17 years in business, underscores our unwavering commitment to exemplary customer service. Our track record, with less than 1% of reviews falling below 5 stars, speaks volumes about our dedication to client satisfaction.

Easiest Insurance Process Ever
Chris Thomas was phenomenal throughout my whole process. When I contacted iHealthBrokers, I had no idea if I would even be able to get health insurance. Chris helped me understand the different plans and even got me on a cheaper plan than I would have individually selected. Chris completed the application and I received my insurance card within 2 weeks. I recommend this service to anyone needing insurance coverage. I was extremely confused and quite anxious about all of the Medicare parts and plans. I was afraid that I would mess something up and make uninformed choices that I would later regret. Fortunately, I stumbled on to the IHealthBrokers YouTube channel and started watch every video relating to Medicare. Because the videos were so well put together, and presented in an understandable way, the clouds began to part and the angels started to sing! Pretty remarkable for not being a person of faith! Go to Marketplace for accurate and cheaper options
Dental and vision monthly payments way more than if you go to Marketplace.
Also misleading is their database: much cheaper options can be found on Marketplace.
Answers to questions were vague and uninformed.
Not rated highly on Better Business Bureau.

Amy, this review is not helpful for anyone and is not factual in any way. We sent you specific dental and vision quotes based on your request. The dental and vision quotes sent to you have an annual maximum of up to $15,000 annually. Additionally, we sent you plans for large nationwide PPO networks. Most plans on the marketplace cap at a few hundred dollars per year and have very small local networks. Our clients often have difficulty finding a dentist accepting these plans. We would have provided some marketplace plans if you had asked us to send you the cheapest plans regardless of benefits and network. Additionally, if you had mentioned this to us after the fact, we could have sent you some cheaper and less comprehensive plans. We work for you, not the insurance companies.
To your misleading database comment, I assume you are referring to our website, which is a direct feed from the marketplace. Rates are set by law and can not vary from website to website, so the rates provided to you (by me) were a 100% match. If they appeared different, that would be because you used different criteria on the marketplace compared to the criteria you provided to me, like estimated 2024 income.
As for your questions being answered vaguely, my last email response to you was detailed. I strive to answer every email in bullet point form because I can't stand when people don't answer ALL of my questions...
Lastly, you stating that we are not highly rated by the BBB, which is also false. Our BBB rating is an A+. You can verify this on their site by searching Google for BBB iHealthBrokers. Our ratings on all sites across the internet are 5 Stars or an A. We work tirelessly for our clients and earn thousands of positive reviews by attempting to go above and beyond at every turn!
If this were on us, I would own it and apologize. Had you brought any of the above to my attention before your review, I would have happily helped educate you and helped find you the exact dental plan that does what you expect and works with the dentist of your choice. I hope that the plan you're referencing is sufficient for your needs. In the future, we would prefer that you seek assistance elsewhere because this clearly wasn't a good fit for either of us.
