Purchased the iFi Zen Blue V2 Hi-Res Bluetooth DAC on 6Feb2022, and have not experienced any problems, works better than expected, pleasantly surprised and satisfied of the product. The product should have better ouput signal, as I need to increase the volume more than a bit. Product was extremely easy to setup via RCA connections, and connected into preamp tuner inputs.

Since I’ve had my IFI Go Blue it’s been an eye (and ear) opening experience.
Aside from being a DAC ..it’s Bluetooth capabilities are in one word extraordinary.
Using it in Bluetooth mode it decodes the signal with great clarity and fidelity.
A perfect gift for those who want their music on the go.

Having purchased an iFi stack consisting of the Zen DAC V2 and the Zen Can, I have to say I'm truly, truly impressed. I've been an audiophile for many years and have ran quite a fair share of headphones amps and I'm completely blown away with this stack, especially for the price.

The Zen DAC V2 sounds incredible on its own, and the backlit volume knob showing me which colour depending on whichever file/bitrate I'm running is a nice touch as I use Qobuz on exclusive mode, so it's nice to know it's working its magic.

The Zen Can, for me, however is the star of the show.
So far it's chewed up and spat out absolutely everything I've thrown at it. Including Sennheiser/Massdrop HD6xx, Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro, and last but not least the infamously tough to drive Hifiman Arya, this amp has had absolutely not trouble powering these cans whatsoever.

You've won me over, iFi. Truly impressed.

I was seriously contemplating this dac vs blu go.
After researching and reviewing I ultimately chose this as the sound quality on this dac is superior to the Bluetooth version.

After a few days. This was the correct choice.

Build. It's robust, metal and of premium high quality material. The functionality and layering of buttons is easy and beautiful designed. It has "A what we say, chic le freak " feel. Front has the power boost and bass buttons. Power to match your headphones impedance. Bass is obviously added base but with a delicious flavour to kick. Sort of like a cocktail bass kick.

Sound. To be the man, you have to beat the man( rick flair)
I always though high quality headphones would be suffice. I recently purchased Grado sr80x and these are super amazing headphones, read my review for this.
But with the hip dac attached ....wow

Even at low volumes. Tested with power boost off bass on
Instruments are separated like your were sliced with a katana blade . Each Instrument is defined with clarity and purpose.
Vocals show true emotion.
Bass is allowed to flow like how butter melts on toast.
Wow
With power boost on, Instruments that were conjured under layers or hidden under a rock..burst to life..

Bought iFi Bluetooth DAC and am delighted with the sound quality. The unit is small but sturdy and was very easy to set up and use. In fact was so impressed I bought another for my birthday for my other hifi. Highly recommended.

Quality can be felt from opening the box, sound is fabulous and can't beaten for the price, help was found easily and was very useful and honest. Would never buy from any other brand in their areas of audio.

I have a iFi DAC which works well so I thought I might buy the new Streamer. Reviews say the sound is very good and the price seems reasonable. I was a little concerned about forum members mentioning setting up and other problems so I contacted support to clarify how one might set up Qobaz/Adirvana. I received a reply eventually which seemed to have no bearing to my question. The 'helpful' photo attached was an advert for a new product. Asked again but did not receive a reply. Lack of proper support says a lot about a company so I will be buying a streamer from another manufacturer who responded quickly with pertinent information.

I recently got an iFi Zen DAC V2. And wow, has it made a big difference in my set-up. It's build quality is great. And it has just the right size to belong on almost any desktop set-up.

This unit offers unbelievable value as a DAC/amp. And has enough juice to drive almost anything from sensitive IEMs to 250 and 300-ohm big-boy cans, even through USB power only. (The package does not include a power supply unit, and you can connect one to the Zen DAC V2 to get more power out of the amp)

The sound is also fairly linear, yet still that tiny bit fun and musical. It has just the right amount of color to give life to your music. It also has the very helpful Truebass bass boost function that can give you that extra sub-bass rumble plus a tiny bit of mid-bass thump for those tracks that warrant it.

If you're not looking for the most neutral, clinical, and linear amp, and are looking to just enjoy your music, have enough versatility with different gear, and stick to a reasonable budget, then THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED.

The I/O layout is very well thought-out and also very feature-rich. It offers SE (6.3 with an included 6.3 to 3.5 adapter) and balanced (4.4 pentaconn) headphone outputs in front, an RCA (with included cables) and balanced (pentaconn) out. And a variable or fixed switch for the rear outputs to disable the volume pot. Adding a balanced tube headphone amp for more power and different flavor, or using the DAC to elevate a speaker system should be made easy with these.

So just how good is it? Well, I don't even use the MQA features of this thing and I still find it worth more than the money I paid for it. It just has AMAZING value for money, yet it also sounds so good you might not even be able to justify the price of upgrade anytime soon.

iFi's Zen Dac V2 has a definite wow factor. Plug and play right out of the box, (thank you for the thoughtfully included cables, iFi)
Build quality on par with the sound quality. Cans and speakers doing overtime since connected. It's been a long time such a small add-on to the system had such an impressive impact on my listening pleasure.

I bought a Zen Dac and love it! Music quality is so improved compared to straight out of my laptop. Got a balanced cable for one of my headsets to see if I could hear a difference balanced vs. Unbalanced. Wow! Stay up too late listening to music now. I have read a number of reviews that say a balanced output at the price point of the Zendac is unbelievable. I Knew I would be doing some air travel this summer so I bought an ifi hip dac for that. So glad I did. I use the hip dac for all my commutes now and use the Zen Dac at home because sometimes I use the RCA outputs for use with my tube amp.

I was looking to get an upgrade for audio, and after trying numerous DACs [typical hyped ones from the internet reviews], but there was always something missing. Eventually, I ended up on the ifi Zen Signature stack, and I believe it offers best bang for the buck in terms of pure sound performance. The internet reviews are completely wrong about many other popular competitors, this stack is a clear winner in it's class. Also to mention that ifi's build quality is amazing. After using it on headphones, I decided to test it out on speakers, and it's a bliss to hear on the balanced output.

iFi makes fantastic products and really pushes the envelope between price and features. There isn’t another company that delivers this level of quality and features with a relatively reasonable price.

I’m a repeat customer, and will continue to be in the future.

No matter what new product comes out, I will always trust and buy it.

I have a Chord Hugo 2 coupled to the streamer Chord 2 Go and also a Chord Mojo dac and now an IFI Audio iDsd Diablo which is my favourite not only for the high quality of the sound but also for the extreme ease of connection and use.

My Hip Dac had a loose output port and was returned for repair within the warranty period. The Customer service response and follow up was really excellent. As the problem proved intermittent and took a longer than expected time, a brand new unit was sent to me.!! Really excellent all round service. CS

Ran into an issue outside of the warranty period and being pretty tech savy I decided to try and fix it myself. After reaching out to iFi to purchase a replacement part, they graciously offered to fix it free of charge under warranty, covered shipping there and back, and even included a free Earbuddy. There and back in just one week.

I've been using an iMac as a source for my digital music for some time. iMac>Pangea AG USB cable>LPS>Audiophellio 2>25' Canare Coax to Metrum Octave. I decided one day to try a AQ Jitterbug and the original iFi iSilencer USB. The Jitterbug did help the output on an iPhone 7 - the iFi less so. With the iMac it was the opposite, iFi helped. Which got me very curious about the current gen iFi iSilencer +, and the next step up. the iPurifier 3 USB. I received the iPurifier + first. Wow, frequency response was enhanced top to bottom with the bass becoming so much more clear and defined, much more delineated images, maybe a little leaner in terms of image saturation. From the album 6 String Theory, "68" - the intensity that was there blew me into my sofa like an intense audio wind! That was the immediate impression with very little break in. I think up to 200 hours is required to get the maximum and refine things out. A few days later the iPurifier 3 USB arrived. Plugged this directly into the audiophellio 2. I tried with the LPS both before and after the iP3. It sounds more refined feeding the iP3. So now the image density returned, not quite as intense as just the iS+. More calm, a coherent fabric of sound now. The body of the Metrum Octave sound returned, just given a purified stream of digital, now just more space between images, and as it runs in more and more, and with the iS+ adding a bit of energy - it feels like the iMac is now an audiophile source ( using Amarra Luxe in Bypass with a scanned iTunes Library ) It starts to feel like the images are more lifelike, I'm hearing much more of the spatial cues than ever before. I assumed that this part of my digital chain wasn't weak. But kept hearing about how much noise computers introduce. The iFi components really do a job canceling noise from the computer - which the Pangea people say can distort from the power side to the signal side in a usb cable. Then making sure the digital signal is correct going into the audiophellio 2. These two components have transformed my system very affordably!! I've heard that John Curl has been adding his audiophile magic in specific areas of these parts and it shows.

I have had my Zen Blue working in my system for over seven months. It has been transformative in how I listen to music as I mostly stream now. But more than that the Zen Blue is a quality piece of 'Hifi' equipment and punches way above its weight with regard to the quality of sound reproduction and build quality.
