They will give you a good sale but then avoid you, never call back, never reply to emails

AVOID AVOID AVOID. I issued a ccj against 'Ideal' Cars and won. I paid a deposit, Samir then sold the car to someone else and would not refund the deposit back to me. Dreadful experience. They ignore your phone calls and emails but persevere if you want your money back.

Do not trust this dealer and do not pay any deposits as you will not get it back despite him advertising that they are fully refundable. Paid £200 to hold a car for 2 weeks. 5 days later he said Management had asked for another £100 as 2 other people were looking buy the car (which was lies and the car is still for sale - after 6 months - and he owns the company, so more lies about Management asking for additional deposit). So I told him to refund my deposit - as he "didn't want to lose out on a sale". He refused and said they are only refundable after 24 hours. I had booked flights to go and view the car but after his lies and checking other reviews, I realised I'd probably saved myself a wasted journey. He will tell you the car will be marked as reserved (it won't). Untrustworthy and will scam you out of your deposit and constantly lie. AVOID !!!!

This car dealers, should be shut down, they will sell you an unroad worthy, vehicle, putting members of the public at risk of death or serious harm. I purchased a car from these, low lifes and, had to spend an extra few thousand to get it safe and, road worthy. This place is a serious, hazard to peoples lives and, lively hood. Report this place!!!

Don't buy a car from here. First thing MOT won't show up faults on car. The brake disc was badly need replacing didn't show on mot not even as advisory. Guy was smiling when was saying this and I said even you can see this is a joke. Then tried being serious after. Sam told me this was refundable deposit yet to get back. Don't trust this car dealer

Shocker of a company, deposit put down on a car (that apparently only needed valeting) Monday for collection Wednesday, no contact, chased and was told it would ready today, chased again and now needs a new sump and wouldn't be ready until next Wednesday!!
Called owner earlier to clarify every thing and he was defensive from the off and put the phone down, called him back and he said I couldn't speak to him like that and he wasn't my husband or friend (thank God) and put the phone down again! Wouldn't mind but I'd only asked why we had to keep chasing for updates and to clarify the issues. Called in back and got a mouthful of abuse, he obviously doesn't like speaking to women.
At this point Sam you can shove your scrap car. Will be going through the bank for a charge back for our deposit.
By the way would love to know why the car we were buying is still advertised on numerous selling sites!

Please please do not give this conman any business, he takes refundable deposits but doesn’t refund them if you don’t buy the car or change your mind. He’s refusing to refund my 18 year old £99 deposit. Please check out all reviews before even contemplating buying.

Unfortunately (as per many of the reviews) behind the friendly demeanour of Sam, there is a problem here. Yes, they have a nice looking array of vehicles and on the surface the welcome you get is good - until something isn't right and then you don't get any response. I'm still waiting for my deposit back like so many others.

I put down a deposit over the phone to secure a CAT S Renault Captur. They have lots of these types of car available, as do many garages. These vehicles can be a good buy if they are properly repaired.

However, I opted for an AA inspection to be carried out in the vehicle prior to purchase. I said to Sam that providing this was ok I would come and collect the vehicle. He was fine with this at the time.

The AA inspector called to give me a damning report on the vehicle including things like missing bolts, poor quality repairs, bends in the structure, poor mismatched paint work and discrepancies in the mileage. The list goes on. The inspector also advised that he did not test drive the vehicle - which they would normally do - because he did not consider the vehicle roadworthy.

I contacted Sam very politely and advised him of the report and offered to send him a copy (which I did) so he could attend to the issues before selling it to someone else but under the circumstances I would not be proceeding.

I explained that given the report (which suggested the car shouldn't be on the road!) and not because I had merely change my mind I would request the return of my deposit - which only seems fair! Sam advised me that this would be fine.

I'm still waiting. And waiting. And waiting. No response toy emails or messages.

It would appear they've bought the car at auction (I suspect as this is normal) and bodged up the repairs to get rid. I can only assume they do this to all of these types of vehicle.

My advice is to steer clear altogether, get a proper inspection on these type of vehicles before buying and do not send these guys a penny of your money in advance because if there's an issue you won't see it again.

Oh and by the way - they advertise on auto trader that they are in some sort of AA scheme. I spoke to the AA and they aren't listed on their database.

Paid a refundable deposit to save a car decided not to take car they said my deposit would be returned in a couple of days it’s been 10 days, still no deposit

Avoid this company at all cost, they were willing to let me drive away with a known fault on a car and lied twice about a date to get it fixed. Refused to refund my deposit as the car was not as advertised.

Avoid Ideal Car Centre. Bought a car on 17th September 2022. It was a Cat N but advertised as minimal damage and repairs to a high standard. Discovered later that a bolt had been sheared off the gearbox, the gearbox was leaking oil, and there was internal damage to the gearbox. And a water leak. I fixed the water leak for £1200 of my own money. Now the gearbox needs to be replaced and this might cost £10000 and Ideal Car Centre Bliston don’t care. They are the worst car company I’ve come across and (like others have said) should be shut down.

If I could rate them -5 stars I would. Bought a car online and after talking to Sam agreed a price and had it delivered , big mistake, after it was delivered we discovered that it was a CAT S , which it didn’t say in the advert or I wouldn’t have bought it. So drove it back to dealer and was shown an advert which was completely different to the one I saw. Sam agreed to refund and said it would take two or three days to come through. Well after a week still hadn’t arrived so called garage and it was paid the next day. But it was paid minus £150 delivery charge and a £150 admin fee , which is not right. Don’t trust Sam he lies just to get a sale , and do what I didn’t and that’s read some reviews of what other people have put up. Don’t trust idealcarcentre Wolverhampton they will have your pants down .

DO NOT USE THIS CAR GARAGE!!

I cannot stress this enough. I purchased a car for £14k. Did not haggle with the price at all. Left the garage and after an hour the EML came on. Got it diagnosed and it is clear the garage reset the light and sold the car with the fault. Car has a blocked DPF and EGR due to excess soot in system. Not something that can occur after a few hundred miles of motorway driving.

I asked about the warranty and was told the warranty company did not cover this part. I spoke with the warranty company who I was told I had cover with - they had no record of a warranty in my name. This was clearly sold to me FRAUDULENTLY AND ILLEGALLY!!!

Sam who I am dealing with is a terrible person to try and be reasonable with. I have incurred over £200 in costs on a new sensor to fix the issue, and diagnosis'. A recent quote to fix the car is £540 of which Sam is only offering £250 even though the fault was pre-existing.

The after care from this garage has been the worst experience I have ever had. I would plead with people to avoid this garage like the plague as they are nothing more than con men who sell faulty cars with fake warranty.

If I do not get an acceptable resolution to the situation I will be forced to take legal action against the garage for selling me a car which was faulty and for selling me FAKE warranty - how do you think you can get away with this.

Words cannot describe how bad this company is. Lets just say, he (Sam the owner) has scammed me out of over £50k.

Car not as described, further faults and missing parts found after driving away. Returned the car for full refund which he agreed to via email, signed contract for refund of purchase price after he inspected the car, then refuses to refund the full amount, trying to deduct admin fees, vehicle prep, cost for removing his own personalised plate!

He has basically stolen over £50k of my money, and left me with no choice but to take legal action to get it back.

Ads changed on his website after the purchase to try and cover his back. Pictures were out-of-date and he'd done another 4000 miles in the car since taking the pictures.

I have a contract signed by him for the full refund, emails confirming his agreement to the full refund, a and copies of all his ads before and after his changes.

Total scam company. Do not buy anything from them. If you have any problems, you will lose ALL your money!

Avoid avoid avoid disgusting service especially sam. will lie about car having full service warranty. make sure you take diagnostic computer with you to check properly they will turn of any engine light warning before you arrive. You’ve been warned please stay well away!!!!!!!

What a waste of time. Saw a car advertised that was interested in asked for pics to be told it’s gone for mot. Waited over 2 weeks then seen pics on website.made app to view car and left my caravan a day early to view only to be messaged 730 pm to say they were closed due to bank holiday ! Hubby and father went to view car today 100 miles away car hasn’t had new mot and couldn’t test drive it. Sounds to fishy to take a chance.
