I had a car delivered yesterday to South Wales was a bit apprehensive as I was paying alot of money for a car I hadn't seen in person. But I got to say Jamie Waller was outstanding he did a walk-around video twice for me letting me know if there were any little chips ,scratches etc. Lots of photos taken and every question I asked he was there prompt with all the information and answers. The communication was key , even from the time the 3rd party delivery driver left the dealership to giving me a 45min left on the journey heads up so I could leave work and meet him at my house without losing half a days holiday , the driver was very professional and sorted all the paperwork out promptly . I would recommend croyland cars to anyone , I will use them again. They are definitely 5 star rated.

For someone who doesn't know much about cars, it was very reassuring to buy from a trusted local company. Their attention to detail is great (Mark even lent us a big bow to put on the car for the surprise present). I would highly recommend Croyland to anyone looking for a car.

Smooth sales process
Ben, the sales person managed to get me the car I really wanted and to suit my budget. Was a smooth process without any dramas. This is the 2nd car I've bought from Croyland so would recommend them. Only picked my car up today but so far so good. 😊
Mixed experience
What I will say is that I have a working car that I'm happy with. That said there were some failings in the sale, transparency and aftercare.
I attended croyland after reserving a car online my visit was organised over whatsapp and getting my appointment set up was really easy.
The car was set up ready in the lot when I arrived.
When I came in Dan Aspinall who I'd arranged my appointment with was with another customer due to a colleague being sick which is understandable.
We got out to the car and Dan informed me he'd forgotten to charge it which was a little frustrating given the car is a plug in hybrid so this is a key feature and I'd have thought it a basic for a car salesperson in preparing for an appointment.
Managed to get the car out for a drive long enough to allow the car to charge itself .
Dan told me the battery had been tested as having around 85% capacity this having owned the car for a month or so now can't have been true it is more like 70%.
Dan told me on our journey that the car had a full service history which I would have made available to me. I may have been too trusting as a customer and I took his word on it.
However after purchasing I asked for it for my records and it turned out there wasn't a record of a service history at all, The cars mots had simply been pulled from the government website. I don't know if that is a training gap or intentional dishonesty but a service and an MOT are not the same thing and I was missold.
The charging cable for the car was missing and I asked whether I could have £150 off the asking price as this was the rough price to purchase the particular cable required. Dan said he would order one for me and send it to my house.
The cable did not turn up for around 3 weeks and that was with me to chase constantly which isn't the service what you expect having just spent a large amount of money.
This also meant that I spent a lot more money on petrol than I would have done if I had the opportunity to charge the car at home.
To top things off when the cable did turn up it was battered, dirty and patched up with electrical tape meaning I did not feel safe using the charger and had to purchase one myself anyway.
Overall I'm happy with the car but I don't feel the customer service was where you'd like it to be.

Poor customer service
Visited Croyland cars today Fri 26th on one of the hottest days of the year. Looked around the extensive outside area of used cars. Found a car of interest and walked into the showroom. Walked around looking for a sales person but was ignored by everyone. Went to the Customer care desk were eventually someone looked up. I asked if there was a sales person available. They said they will try find one and picked up a phone. We waited 10 mins in the showroom but nobody came. We eventually walked out. The car of interest was £18,000. Won't be going back. Customer care??

Ben looked after us we are elderly but Ben explained every thing clearly he wasn't pushy he bought the car down to us and explained what all the buttons were for we arranged to collect the car one week later and it was ready and waiting for us we will recomend Croyland motors to our friends. Great customer service

Would like to say that I dealt with Ben for my new car he was very explanatory regarding everything, he is very professional and knowledgeable hence is why I purchased the vehicle. I am extremely grateful for the time he gave to me and I would buy from him again. Well done pity there was not more people like Ben in the car sales trade.
