This is a straight scam. You agreed to an amount and then they keep asking for more and more and more just to stop answering your phone calls and not get anything in return. I’m going to be suing these people. This is a scam. This has been ongoing for years.

USELESS! Cannot follow instructions, keep changing "Project Managers" on you frequently, deliver 1st grade quality in writing. After 4 years, I have 1 chapter from them. And each comments I provided (in writing or in meetings or recorded sessions were ignored). They refuse to refund money. I am taking them to court now. They are a complete waste of your time.

It would be redundant to list all the reasons for the one-star review of Iconic Ghostwriter / Eternal Ghostwriting. I have been dealing with them since 2021, and the frustration of apologies but no answers and no resolutions is beyond measure.
I also experienced every issue the other one-star reviewers pointed to.

The writing/editing was from a third-world country, whose idioms and vocabulary would have completely confounded my readers, so I ended up writing and editing my book myself.

The marketing package I purchased was a colossal fail, with about one-half of it not accomplished and the other half a substandard mess; from the website, which I pulled the plug on and created my own, the Facebook page, Facebook posts, from which I have been trying for months to get the log in so I could "fix" it, to the constant change in personnel, not knowing from one day to the next what the scope of the project was, it just wasn't worth the headache.

The Artificial Purchase package, which I discovered later, was, if not illegal, against all of the rules of Amazon's purchases and reviews.

Please don't waste your money. Is it a scam? I don't know for sure, but because this company operates under different names, I suspect there is definitely something nefarious going on. I have requested a refund several times with no results. I'm done and now talking to my attorney for remedy.

It's a full SCAM. The operate the umbrella of Professional Ghostwriter. The owner(s) and writers do not have any scrupule. They will take your money and close shop. They have a few other ghostwriting companies where they run the same scam. All Writers and owners should be sued.

Last summer I answered a text about Iconic Ghostwriters. Pandemic hit us hard & even against my attorney’s thoughts, I felt desperate enough to try to get help to accelerate my project.

I gave Iconic $8000 for (2) books, marketing & got unexpected results.
Communication inconsistent, many delays.
The result of first 6-7 pages was nearly a copy of my story, little to no additions, editing, but company completely had NO CLUE to a story about teenage & family angst while living on a tropical island.

After seeing how Iconic changed MY longtime saying:
“I love you more than the Sun & the Moon, the Stars in the Sky & the Seas & the Oceans wide.” (Love right?).

Iconic changed the last word in MY words on love “to Tide”, my brain exploded. My love for all things does not go with the tide! In and out! Horrible image for pure words!?!?

I knew right that minute something not right & searched & found the good internet comments were now flooded with bad. Got my attorney on it immediately & got most back. Big hassle.

I believe these folks might change the name of “shell companies” as needed & will MOSTLY target senior folks wanting to share information, educate, entertain.

Anything on internet that says 75% off or similar is a scam! All of them & yes, they very well may be part of a bigger operation! My imagination perhaps!

If you have what You think worth writing? It is worth more time & yes, maybe more $$$ to get ‘er done!

I am beyond disappointed in the iconic ghostwriting company. I started my book with them over a year ago, and even though it was finally published, I did all the writing and they did not even publish my final edited book document. They wanted money for everything. I had to constantly have them change things and I was always editing what they supposedly edited. The marketing was not up to par and they were rude when I wanted a refund. I ended up disputing the charges because I wanted to be done with this company. My book was all my doing and I feel I would have been able to write it without paying them money. They did a website for me and I found all sorts of inappropriate posts. The employees are difficult to understand and I don't think they are not from the US. When I would speak with them on the phone the connection was horrible and I could not concentrate on what they were saying because there must have been a bunch of people on other lines in the same room. It was horrible. I would not recommend this company! Stay away! Stay far away!

I had high hopes that the services they would be providing would be a positive experience. I was looking forward to the professionalism and expertise that they promised. Unfortunately, that was a big mistake.

There seems to be no pride in what they come up with, and I would be embarrassed to publish what they write. I have trouble just reading some of the edits I get back. The sentences don't make sense and have contradictions everywhere in the story.
My experience is that the writers are not from the United States. Their command of the USA English language is not consistent with how we say things. Don't be fooled by the Texas area code on their phone calls; and they are not in Texas. Please pay attention to the way they date their communications. They use day/month/year, not the month/day/year that we use here. Most everyone I have heard from is in India.
Most of what they listed as to how they approached a project never happened. Including the claim is that Iconic Ghostwriters can offer a quick turnaround of one week for a chapter, but my experience has been that it takes months to get something back. Then I found that I spent way more fixing their edits than I expected.
As stated in their contract, I have asked for a refund, "100% money-back-guarantee." They wanted one more chance, and I gave them three more chances. Nothing changed except that each time they gave me a new team leader. I have now had six of them. The last one said she agreed that what I had received was poor in quality but that she would take care of everything from now on, and I could trust her.
I asked how long she had been working for Iconic Ghostwriters out of curiosity. She answered for a while. Then asking how long is a while, and her response was, less than a month. I have been now attempting to get my refund now for five months.
There are good ghostwriters out there. Do your research.

Horrible do not work with these people. They do very mediocre work had to complain about the editing job they did a little better?, but the story still didn't make sense. They don't talk to you about what you want out of the book. They don't make the book fictional so that readers will not know the book is about your life. These do not seem like quality writers and when I asked for my refund because the contract said if you are not satisfied with the process, or writing of the book you get 100% refund. When I requested my money back due to them not reaching out to me on a weekly basis and only poorly editing three pages of my book. They would only give me 60% back because of writers times that was invested. I thought it was a joke because thats what my complaint was about and why I didn't want to work with the company because I was not contacted for months after I paid my money and complained about the poor writing skills. No one would respond to me until I asked for my money back.

This company are scammers. They will create a book that is poorly written and won't even complete the job they were hired to do. They have several businesses they are running under different names. I had hired Iconic and they didn't provide the services they were hired for yet they keep calling me like once a week under different ghostwriting names. BUYERS BEWARE THEY WILL NOT PROVIDE SERVICES YOU HIRE THEM FOR. PLEASE DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. I wish they would stop calling my phone. I am glad I learned the business of self publishing and, I will not hire anybody again unless I know they are a company with a proven track record. Anyone looking to self publish go to Up Work that is safer than dealing with these scammer companies. I wrote my own book myself and sent it to a editor on Up work to do my edit and formatting that was the best thing I could have ever done.

Stay ...away from this company!!!! I had a contract with them all they did was listen to my story on tape then transcribed it!!! It wasnt turned into a story, then they gave me another writer, same situation occurred. The grammar was so poor now they are trying to keep my money saying they will give me 80% back...they said they have to pay the writers!!

It’s only fair I update this I don’t believe they are scammer they did resolve my issue. But it look a month to get it resolved which was very frustrating. I don’t think this company has enough staff to keep up with the demand which causes them to not be able meet deadlines. I will also state this isn’t a US base company they are somewhere probably in India. I rate 2 stars because although, my issue was resolved it was like pulling teeth to get things handled.

Iconic Ghost’s writers. I paid for their service in March 2021. They made all these promises that they would have my book done by June. 30 chapter book today is June 8th and they only completed 5 chapters. After many times going back and forth on making changes, and me asking them please take the time and read my manual script instead of coming up with your own story that don’t have anything to do with mine. Finally they listen. I am very disappointed with this service. In the beginning Before I hired them. I check their rating with BBB it showed that they the Iconic Ghost’s writer inc. had a A+ rating. I started questioning that. Went back 4 months later to see how can a company be so terrible with a BBB A+ rating.

Beware because BBB stated that this company creates fake URL and Fake BBB sites that is affiliated with the real BBB site. On their fake BBB sites they are giving themselves A+ rating.

I was wondering why I was not able to view other companies on their site because it was fake.

This company has several other companies and I believe the other one is Scirbe Writers. So as I mention about canceling my service I received a text from Scibe Ghost writters. I question the person that text me and said you are the same company under a different name. I also believe that they are giving themselves excellent reviews from within their organization. They use Dallas Texas numbers and California.

It’s tough to find real ghost writers companies that are real.

I spoke with salesman name Adam, Judy or Karen, Melvyn, Robert, and a few others. Just beware.

They also have a Portal that you upload your material this Portal was created by amateurs and very difficult to work on.

Once’s you start complaining about them not delivering they stop accepting your calls. And keep saying someone will call you back.

Overall bad business and fake.

Buyers be aware and no don’t to business with this company they scammers that will steal your money and will not provide the services you hired them for. This company is under several different other websites. They are scammers.

This website, and many like it are all under the same umbrella of scam operation. The big names they post on their site are not clients of theirs. They have never worked with any publishing house they may advertise on their website. These are scam operations run out of Pakistan, Indie and the Philippines. English isn't even their first language?

Hired them to ghostwrite a book. Terrible communication. They didn’t read anything I had wrote and sent to them. In one month, they had accomplished nothing and contributed nothing to the project. They didn’t listen to my concerns or needs. When I asked for a refund they avoided my calls for days. Still waiting for my refund which they haven’t paid back. Again, they produced NOTHING contributing to my project. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

First I was afraid of even getting a ghostwriter but working with a company like them has given me hope I clearly wanted a memorial of my dads life and these guys helped me turn it into a book the family and I will be proud of professional,ever ready, and always there for a question to be answered
