Accueil déplorable et irrespectueux. Emplacement nature pour tente recouvert de profondes ornières. Piscine salle avec une odeur de chlore épouvantable. Sanitaires laissant grandement à désirer.
Huttopia est une réelle utopie. Rien d'écolo ni aucune humanité dans cet endroit. Boîte à fric.
Camping à fuir !

I stayed with Huttopia all over France; on the 14th of July I arrived at Oleron Chenes vert on the second day (the 15th) of my stay in Oleron I found cockroaches (and fleas) on my campsite, the cockroaches were all over my electric coolbox that had been placed on the ground next to my car, then alarmingly, when I sat in my camping chair and lent back, they scurried out of the holes in the arms!!! I told the manager at the time and on the 17th when I left. Nothing was done. I have contacted them since and they deny any infestation, however, I only stayed with Huttopia throughout France and I first saw these horrible things on that campsite. Had I known at that moment that they would travel on with me to my next campsite where they became a serious problem in my roof tent, I would have been more insistent that the management take immediate action, but I try to be accepting and I’m far too British sometimes! I became very ill during the night on the 19th and felt unwell every night for the remainder of my stay on Ile de Re. I had swollen glands and eyes, itchy runny nose and skin. The roaches increased in number despite my trying to kill them with spray and my stress level all increased. When I closed the tent on the final day on Ile de Re, I gave it one last spray and set off on the 5hr journey to Calvados, my last stay with Huttopia. Whilst I was driving, I saw one of the cockroaches crawl out of my bedding across my pillow! I realised then that they were now in my car and also that I could not bear another night sleeping in the tent with them. I didn't want to go to Calvados at all, but felt I had no alternative as I was travelling with a dog during high season and had no idea where else to go. When I arrived at Calvados I asked to see the manager and told her that I couldn't sleep in the tent because of the infestation that I had picked up in Oleron. She upgraded me to a glamping tent for the following two nights and told me that she would contact the manager in Oleron to ask them to pay for it.
I spent the entire time in Calvados washing clean clothes and bedding, everything I could wash, at high temperatures to kill them, trying to contact a doctor, speaking to pest controllers about the problem, and trying to figure out what to do when I got back to the UK. The manager at Calvados subsequently told me that I would have to pay the extra 212.61 euros for the upgrade because the manager at Oleron had refused! I was outraged but paid. I had had no holiday in Calvados, the 'glamping tent she had put me in was dirty too and I would not have chosen to stay there if I had had any option. Obviously, I could not enjoy exploring the area or relaxing in the sun or walking through the forest, because my whole life had now become about trying to find a way to rid myself of this awful infestation and get home safely to recover.

I had to cancel the stay at a site near my friend’s house in Folkestone and book a hotel for one night instead; more money. I had to drive home on the Friday instead of the Saturday which made a 5 - 6 hr drive into a 9hr drive. All the while with these unwanted guests crawling around with me in my car.

I had to wash everything as soon as I got home. Including myself and the dog. Clothes that could not be hot washed, had to go into the freezer (had to buy one specially) I had to get pest control out to treat the car, they took my BRAND NEW roof tent away and disposed of it. All in all, I've lost over £2000 and had a seriously traumatic experience instead of a holiday.

I went to the doctor and am now taking my second round of hideously strong antibiotics for a staphylococcus aureus infection in my lungs (known to be carried by cockroaches).
I have tried everything I can think of to get the campsite concerned to act responsibly, but they refuse to acknowledge that the infestation originated with them, they have been quite rude and dismissive instead of supportive and helpful. They evidently do not care about me or any other guests who will inevitably, whether they know it or not, have been affected by this. There was a lot of sickness on site that I noticed when there, children crying, coughing, diarrhoea. The whole site was filthy, the ideal habitat for cockroaches. I'm so exhausted, disillusioned and very, very sick; I will never return to France despite its beauty, because nobody seems to care enough about this. No regulating body to oversee how the campsites operate.

Unless this is the kind of adventure you are looking for, avoid this place and stay somewhere else!

Deze groep heeft onze vakantie gered.....wat een toppers zijn ze. Na een horror ervaring met capfun zijn we in de hemel gekomen.. alles klopt hier.. ontvangst de huisjes, mooi schoon en netjes. Wij hebben als gezin onze plek gevonden bij Huttopia

Mooie huisjes op twee prachtige campings gehad; personeel heel vriendelijk, leuke activiteiten voor de kinderen en een fijn restaurant met een kleine maar lekkere keuken. Ik snap dat airco voor het Huttopia begrip een no go is en op zich niet nodig als je een fan hebt en de ramen open kunt zetten. Maar is het nou teveel gevraagd om een paar horretjes te plaatsen zodat je eens lekker alle ramen open kunt zetten zonder dat je ‘s avonds wordt lekgeprikt door de muggen. We hopen nog vaker van Huttopia gebruik te maken maar een hor is toch echt wel noodzakelijk.

I’ve used their Beaulieu site for several years and never had any problems with Huttopia. Excellent well run site with pleasant, helpful staff and would highly recommend it. This year we also stayed on their Gorges du Tarn site and experienced the same high standards.

Il n'y a pas de sentiment personnel chez Huttopia parmi les salariés. Soyez prudent lorsque vous prenez rendez-vous et assurez-vous de lire les petits caractères. Assurez-vous d'avoir souscrit une bonne assurantie annulation. Huttopia vous facturera tout l'argent et n'aura aucune pitié. Je ne retournerai jamais chez Huttopia. Ils n'ont aucun respect et aucune appréciation. Le personnel ne es soucie que d'eux-mêmes. Ce sont de vrais loups d'argent.

Bourg St Maurice en Vallouise heb ik qua voorzieningen met ruim voldoende beoordeeld door de inspanningen van de beheerders. En ook Huttopia is een investeringsproject wat geld op moet leveren. Heeft niets met de natuur te maken. Je ziet de veroudering in het materieel en heb heel veel respect voor de beheerders, Camping Vallouise Greg en Shara die er helaas niet meer waren, een groot gemis, die dat maar moeten oplossen. e kraakman ziggo nl

Have tried to contact them by e mail (they do not answer) and telephone (always engaged with no answerphone message possible) several times over two days to change the dates of our booking. They have our deposit which we want returned if we cant change the dates. All confidence in them gone. Are they still operational?

Tried to book a campsite in Northern France through the Huttopia website but when I confirmed the payment in my banking app they confirmed the booking for a different site in Spain. Immediately contacted them but 2 days later haven't heard back. My bank were unable to reverse the payment because I confirmed it. Seems like a con and will now avoid all Huttopia campsites.

Naast onze chalet in divonnes les bains stonden chalets met oost Europese arbeidsmigranten en Frans Arabische bouwvakkers. Met de nodige overlast. Afgelopen nacht twee uur durende vechtpartij in het chalet naast ons. Geklaagd bij de receptie en daar noemen ze het werktoerisme en dat doen ze bewust. Dat staat niet op de website. We dachten tussen vakantiegangers te staan maar zitten in een soort banlieue. De manager van de camping gaf aan dat wij iets tegen immigranten hebben en dat ons probleem is. Enige oplossing via hoofdkantoor Nederland is tegen bijbetaling naar andere camping. Schandalig met bij betaling! Dus wees gewaarschuwd beste vrienden bij Huttopia is het policy om ook bouwvakkers en arbeidsmigranten in de huisjes te laten overnachten met de daarbij behorende overlast.

Problème de porte qui ne se ferme pas donc obligé de changer de chalet mais en forçant car pour eux c pas grave si la porte ne se ferme pas à clé
En aucun cas j'aurais dormi avec une porte non fermée à clé avec mes enfants et en voulant me mettre à l'aise.

Huttopia winkel Utrecht: Ik heb voor de verjaardag van mijn man een dure Yeti koelbox gekocht. Toen hij de koelbox uitpakte zag hij dat er krassen op de deksel zaten. De koelbox is de doos niet uitgeweest daarvoor. Toen ik afgelopen zondag terugging naar de winkel was de bedrijfsleider heel resoluut: dat zat er 100 procent niet op toen u hem kocht. Ik vertelde dat hij de doos niet is uitgeweest en er niks op de doos heeft gestaan. Ze was onvermurwbaar en bleef volhouden dat het er niet opzat en dat hij wel beschadigd zou zijn tijdens het vervoer. Ik heb 10 % van het aankoopbedrag teruggehad maar ik had liever een ongehavende koelbox. Ik vind het buitengewoon klantonvriendelijk en storend dat iemand je eigenlijk voor leugenaar uitmaakt ipv te kijken hoe tot een oplossing te komen. Ik kom hier nooit meer!

I looking online at the prices - it was 770 euros for our stay. I tried to book this evening of 31/12 but the network didnt work - after putting in all my details. I then went and booked my ferry instead and then tried the campsite again.

As it had gone past 12o'clock GMT the prices had increased by 30 euros.

I wrote to Customer services to see if they would honour considering their site was the problem and flatly refused with a total air of rudeness. Honestly - you would think such a small token would go such a long way.

After seeing these reviews on here too - I am worried about spending our time there. It doesnt look like they have responded to anyone on here either.

Huttopia stuurt ongevraagd reclame-mail nadat we ons via hun website een keer hebben ingeschreven bij een camping. Afmelden voor de mail helpt niet. Het blijft komen. Zelfs spam melden via de telefoon houdt huttopia niet tegen.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans l'Huttopia de Lanobre.
Excellent accueil, chalet spacieux.

We hired an electric bike from the campsite.
We locked it on the bike rack in the centre of Boise while we ate lunch. Using the lock the campsite provided.

The lock was cut and the bike stolen.
The campsite forced us to pay €2000. They said we could claim it back on our insurance. We have not been able to claim any money back and are furious that we had to pay this.
Surely Huttopia is insured for losses like this?

We have made a formal complaint but are not getting anywhere with Huttopia.

Een waardeloos bedrijf dat aantoonbaar liegt. Bij aankomst op camping La Parenthese bleken alle faciliteiten gesloten, geen eisjes voor mijn dochter, geen pierenbadje voor onze jonge baby’s, geen ontbijtservies, geen koffie voor ons en zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan. Helaas is de camping overgenomen door Huttopia en daar is het niet beter van geworden. Een grote teleurstelling, zeker na ons prettige verblijf het jaar daarvoor. Na twee dagen hebben we alles maar weer ingepakt en zijn we weggegaan. Direct is een klacht ingediend en werd er gedaan alsof het aan ons lag, dat het altijd al bekend en zichtbaar op de website was dat de faciliteiten gesloten waren, geld teruggeven wilden ze niet. Ik heb aan kunnen tonen dat ze herhaaldelijk liegen en de website pas hebben aangepast nadat ik mijn klacht heb ingediend. Uiteindelijk hebben ze met veel pijn en moeite een minimale vergoeding gekregen en kan ik fluiten naar de overige +/- EUR 750. Schandalig hoe dit is afgehandeld en voorgelogen wordt.

Huttopia Versailles.
Vi havde reserveret 4 pladser i en uge. Der skulle være plads til 1 autocamper, 1 campingvogn og 2 mindre telte.
Da vi ankom fik vi anvist pladser langt fra hinanden. Den ene plads var derudover asfalteret og fremstod som en parkeringsplads, der lå meget skråt.

Efter en masse snak fik vi byttet rundt på pladserne, så vi måtte ligge de to telte tæt sammen på en og samme plads.

Selvom vi havde betalt for 4 pladser, men kun fået 3 pladser, fik vi ikke penge retur for den plads vi ikke benyttede.

Efter vi havde tjekket ud, fik vi alligevel en kreditnota på 423 EUR, for den ubenyttede plads.

Men da jeg bad om at få udbetalt pengene, så skrev de en ny faktura på "ubenyttet plads" på 423 EUR og svarende ikke på min email.

Selve campingpladsen er ok med pæne toilet og badeforhold. Der er meget stor forskel på de enkelte pladser, nogle er store andre er meget små, men prisen er åbenbart den samme. Der var stort set intet græs, men meget grus og støv.

Very concerned about forthcoming holiday with Huttopia. Booked after Xmas by phone but tried to contact twice about an issue via email and have had no reply. Having seen reviews on this site am concerned this companies poor communication is an indication of problems to come. Not happy!
