We went to HSL in Glasgow. It was easy to find and disabled parking right outside.
Staff welcomed us in and talked us through the range of furniture available. We wanted chairs and were shown a great selection. I explained that my husband and I had different needs but we were both blue badge holders. The member of staff we saw was called Marlene. She told us about the furniture they had in the shop and explained that the chairs were all made for each individual so all of the chairs could be made in each of the fabrics.
She started letting us try some chairs before showing us some that might meet our needs better. From the minute I sat on the chair we eventually bought I knew that that was the one I wanted. It felt so supportive and comforting. I could feel my body relax into it. I have never had that experience before. My granddaughter said she could see the relief and relaxation on my face. Once we had made our decision Marlene spoke us through the process including delivery.
The service Marlene gave was outstanding but we did not feel overwhelmed by it at all. It was just right and felt very personal to us.

Marlene welcomed us in to the shop with a smile and spoke in a very friendly manner.She asked what we were looking for and offered us a coffee whilst we had a look at the chairs we were interested in. She was very knowledgeable about the chairs and answered all questions we had.She put no pressure on us to buy and left us to make up our own minds.When we decided to purchase 2 recliner chairs she gave us a very good discount which we delighted with.Marlene and her colleague Natasha could not have been more helpful and we enjoyed the experience of being in the shop and making our purchase.

Daniel gave me a warm welcome to the HSL showroom this morning at 10 o’clock and followed it up with superb service. He knew everything about the kind of recliner I wished to buy and showed me many approximations until he guided to the correct choice based on my age, height, weight, body type and my general health condition - just every detail you could think of to move gradually towards the right choice and ultimately my desire to get just the right chair at the right price. His natural authority in the matter of chairs arises from his experience of actually building them before his present position of actually selling them. So, I am very grateful for his expertise and kindness. You will be too.

Natasha was very informative when we were choosing a chair. Although the delivery of the chair to us was much delayed, Julie at customer care was helpful and responsive.

It’s a bit difficult to write anything as we are still awaiting delivery which is about 9-11 weeks but sales woman Marlene was lovely

This is the second time I have used this Company. On the first occasion I went to my local branch, and because of the way I was treated, and may I say, respected, I decided to ask for a home visit this time, as my mobility has greatly reduced since last year when I bought my first chair. Now this chair does not give me the assistance to stand safely, and so I decided to see if it was time to move on to a riser/recliner. The home visit was very easy to arrange. The day prior to the visit I received a phone call to enquire had I a chair in mind, and if so would that be fabric or leather. I confirmed I had and so on the day of the home visit the chair I had mentioned was the one brought for me to see and try. Daniel could not have been more helpful. He talked me through all the aspects of the chair and control. He made sure the chair fitted me and before long the order had been placed, and in the fabric I had in mind was also available. Daniel also told me about other features that could be added to the chair, but I decided that I did not need them, but took his advice about chair arm covers. He was extremely knowledgeable, clear and precise, and was able to answer any question put to him with confidence. It may appear strange to say that the home visit was a most enjoyable experience, but it was. Daniel was a delight, a truly great representative of HSL. I know I will be more than pleased, and happy, when the chair arrives.

Although I was prepared in my head for looking at armchairs that best suited my and my husbands needs I felt quite overwhelmed initially. It was a big step for us. There was a great selection of chairs and we were taken through the choices by Marlene. She assessed our needs as we came in and steered us towards the chair we eventually bought. My daughter said she could see the relief on my face when I first sat down. For me the feeling of relief and being cocooned in the chair is something I have never felt before. Once we had made the decision Marlene went through the process of the chair being made for us and then delivered.
Marlene was very caring and understanding of our needs as well as being very efficient in outlining the choices of covers and discussing delivery.

Natasha made our experience of buying the chair we wanted a pleasant one. She was very informative and focused on helping us to us to come to a good decision.

Thanks to Marlene in the Glasgow office for all her assistance in purchase of new bed for mum. No high pressure sales and allowed mum lots of time to try getting in and out of the bed and using the controls. Looking forward to delivery of her lovely new bed

no hassle , no hard sell explained every thing, delivered when said person went through all the points was very cheerful. Delivery was perfect the driver brought the chair in and set everything up and explained how it worked could not have been more helpful.

We bought a reclining leather chair from HSL Anniesland Glasgow for my mum. The staff were so helpful and friendly and took the time to through a number of products that were available for a quick delivery. A speedy delivery was organised by Natasha the manager and Russell was kind enough deliver the chair to my mum’s home, ensuring that it was set up and ready for use. He also spent time going through how it operated etc. we could not ask for better customer care. I popped back in for a leather cleaning kit today and again, the staff were happy to assist. I even got offered a cup of tea! Highly recommend this branch of HSL.

The showroom was clean, light, well set out, and attractive.
We were warmly welcomed by Daniel, who gave us his undivided attention for the duration of our visit. He gave us time to look around on our own, but was on hand to answer our questions. Daniel pointed out the features of each product we were interested in and explained the options available. His product knowledge was excellent, and he calculated the cost of various options quickly and efficiently.. We were very happy with our final selection. Daniel processed the paperwork and payment, with the same speed and efficiency, and detailed the next steps.
We were very pleased with our visit to HSL Glasgow; both the quality of the sofas we purchased, and the excellent service from Daniel.

I recently visited HSL Anniesland with my parents looking for a riser -recliner for my dad on arriving we we immediately warmly welcomed by Natasha offered tea and coffee I won't go into all the details to much to write but the team in that store Marlene Daniel and Russell led by Natasha went way above and beyond so lovely to witness staff who genuinely care this much about customer experience Natasha explained everything about the product and choices available quality furniture UK made I'm happy to say my dad has ordered the perfect chair Natasha has pulled out all the stops and my dad will be relaxing in his beautiful chair by Monday I cannot Thankyou all enough for everything and taking care of my parents so well
