I needed a basic DBS Check and I was in a rush, it is made to look like an official government site so I didn't realise it was just a private company. The request was done and I paid and I haven't been able to upload my details or access and sign the application is in progress or exists so my experience is functionally a scam.

Very disappointed, I was not able to call them urgently to cancel submitted application, I asked for enchanted DBS check on Google and they sent me basic DBs check, which apparently is nearly 100 pounds and gov.uk 21 could do by myself,

Also wouldn't recommend to do documents have to be careful with them. Sending wrong form applications.

Very disappointing service from HRcheck. I paid extra fees specifically to receive my DBS within 24 hours, but it has now been 9 days and I still haven’t received it. There has been no proper explanation or accountability for the delay, despite the premium charge. If you’re paying extra for fast processing, you expect the service promised — unfortunately, that was not the case here. I would not recommend relying on HRcheck if timing is important.

Almost paid £81 for a basic dbs check i am now going to spend 21 on the gov website instead.

This company is a SCAM company! It's an absolute disgrace that companies like this are allowed to operate. I wish I'd seen the reviews first, but I believed that I was using the actual government DBS site! I have no idea why companies like this are allowed to exist when you can buy your basic DBS from the government for £21.50. this company charges £84 for the exact same product! I wish I could give them zero stars. I do not need a basic check and bought one in error thinking I was buying an enhanced check, I cancelled within minutes and was told they I am not entitled to a refund. They are a complete rip off, they are just a money making scam. I hope this reaches you before you use this company in error like I did.

I help at an elderly centre. I was asked to support with the DBS. It take HR Check 3/4 months to complete one.
Plus the first one which was in June, they overcharged us. Still waiting for a refund. Every time I send an email, they say we will escalate it to our account team. Still waiting on a compliance of one submitted in September, still waiting for it.
This company is a joke. Quick to take your money. But very very slow in return it. And a very long long time for application to be processed!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Was under the impression that I had applied for an enhanced dbs and was charged £86 only to be told they were only sending a basic dbs. Why would I pay £86 for a dbs costing £21.50. They are a disgrace. Am now making a complaint to the government site, this company needs sorting

My experience was that , it’s easy , quick and not complicated.

HR people overcharged the customers doe’s look like they belong to gov.org but they don’t
They are independent company who overcharged the customers
I been charged £109.14 for enhanced DBS while the standard price is £65.00
Please check carefully when you applied on the website the address and what price going to charge u

Your contact gave me the impression this was sent on behalf of the company I work for. I was puzzled as I wasn’t aware my check was up for renewal but thought it seemed official, which the company is. However, I do NOT appreciate the cold call contact and having to pay WAY over the odds for a DBS check. If I could, I’d get my money back but no doubt your company are well used to this. Not impressed and have warned my 360 colleagues of this scurrilous practice.
