I didn't know house sales move direct where a online housing estate agent. It' shows. Let me explain. I can say this now, I finally got my holding deposit back of 6k which they refused to hand back over a month sooner, apart of their terms, which I didn't sign up too.

This company trade under Lowerhousing estates limited. They never viewed the property. I got told that by the seller. He let slip. When I went sale agreed, Jordan who works in sales was extremely pushy that I depart with 6K as a holding deposit. I did, after a day and a half, stupidly. However it took 2 months to receive this back after I pulled out of the property after I got a survey done. It stated that it was non-habitual by the surveyor report. They were extremely pushy that I proceeded. They had there own independent panel of solicitors on board.. Carbon Law being one on them. Obviously some kind of business deal.

Red flags... if you look up housing sales direct..they're a dissolved company..but trading under a different company. They're pushy for you to depart of funds to make money. my opinion is to hold it in their own account to gain interest of the company's behalf.
They tried to convince me to live in property after it had ABESTO'S issues, damp, electrical faults/ plug sockets falling out the wall, ventilation issues were also included. ( jackpot)

Contact with them over the start via phone was instant, and i was getting closer to proceed with the sale until the surveyor report came back ..which i sent to them. Communication became impossible. They still had 6K of a holding deposit of mine, and took away for £500 as some kind of agreement added on top of that. I called them.

Long story short I got the money back after two months, doesn't help if you're a buyer and if you have a mortgage offer in place. Please avoid. I don't write reviews usually but the icing on the cake was when they informed me that I would the funds on the day. Didn't happen. I couldn't get hold them via phone. They blocked my number. i called on a colleagues phone, they answered,. and wrote a emails

It was very stressful. Please avoid!!

All staff at this estate agent are very friendly,polite and professional.
My house viewing with this company was very pleasant experience.

I had a very bad experience with this company selling a flat. They took a far larger commission than is reasonable even allowing for the fact that they specialise in selling difficult properties. The contract, which I didn’t see for a month after they started the process, gave no indication of the amount of commission they would charge. If you decide to go with the company, get this information in writing before agreeing to anything. The ombudsman found in my favour and I was awarded compensation. This did not make up the loss but at least gave the company hassle.

Simon went above and beyond on many occasions and was utterly brilliant throughout.
Scheduled calls, never missed. Informative friendly and professional. I have to admit I was sceptical of the whole online estate agency but I was proved wrong and very happy to be! Wholeheartedly recommend
