De bestelling was niet helemaal goed gegaan, en ik werd daarover gebeld door een vriendelijke mevrouw, die het allemaal in goede banen heeft geleid. Zo kreeg ik een keurig verpakte zending met bier en een gratis glas. Zeer netjes en adequaat op gelost. En zeker aan te bevelen.

Super! Ich kann nichts negatives sagen

Énorme choix de bières, de très bonne bières, et des bières vraiment d exception.
Et surtout certaines que l on ne trouve plus ailleurs.
Je conseille à tout amateur d exception.

Horrible experience. Husband bought a shipment of beer and after a lot of issues with the order (approx a month of back and forth to resolve) they shipped the order. Then, when fedex requested additional documents HoB told us they wouldn't help. Ultimately, after letting the package sit for a month in the Fedex warehouse in the US, the package was returned to HoB. We have bought beers and foods from other businesses around Europe to ship to the US and this was by far the worst experience. Terrible communication from day one and then they just wash their hands of it in the middle of the process. They also apparently lied several times about various things. We even did some of the paperwork on our end (that we shouldn't have had to) so they only needed to give Fedex a couple pieces of additional info we could not provide. They refused.
Do not support this business.

Miscommunication with store, their shipping partner and FedEx resulted in packages not being delivered. Store eventually dropped the ball and decided to give me a refund even though FedEx only needs documentation that apparently the shipping partner did not provide. I stated I still wanted the package but the store decided they did everything they can.

Very bad kommunikation.

I bought 26 bottles of kronenbourg blanc with them on 10 March 2026, delivery failed the first time for some reason via dpd (when it failed, the business asked if i wanted to collect them from the store instead, but why would i when i paid for delivery and i wasnt free to do that, that was why i chose for them to be delivered), and then after receiving them on the 2nd week from the date of my order on 25 March 2026, the beers turned up with an expiry date of feb 2026. When I asked the owners about it, they said " Beer doesn’t have a strict expiration date. The date you see (02-2026) is a best-before date, which indicates when the brewery expects the beer to be at its optimal quality then. The beer is still perfectly safe to drink after this date—often even years later—though the taste may gradually change over time.". This shouldve been highlighted on the website because if i had known, i wouldnt have bought them. It was for a special gathering at mine and what an embarrassing moment when my guests thought id served them expired beer. Also, bear in mind that I paid 1.95euros per bottle and on top of that 9.50euros for shipping, I think i deserve a better treatment. I would not shop here again and I would highly NOT recommend you shopping here for the sheer lack of integrity in this business.

er was een foutje op de website geslopen mbt omschrijving van een product, kenmerken van het product weken heel erg af van wat er op de website stond ( wijn ipv bier, had ik kunnen weten )
de wijn viel daarnaast wat tegen
even contact opgenomen en prima geregeld , ga zeker vaker bestellen

Goede afhandeling van de zending, was ook goed verpakt

Hele snelle service en onwijs lekker bier.

Zeer uitgebreid assortiment, veel kennis van zaken, ze hebben echt een passie voor speciaalbier en je wordt er altijd erg vriendelijk geholpen

Alle glazen waren goed verpakt. En zijn zonder schade gearriveerd. Laatste keer bij hertog jan heb ik 3x nieuwe glazen doordat ze in scherven op mijn adres arriveerden. Dus dikke pluim voor house of beers.
