We stayed in the Oak7 lodge. It’s lovely and spacious and it’s on a lovely peaceful site.
I do think the cleaners could do a more thorough clean as the windows were filthy and you want to see the lovely views outside.

The furniture outside is a little tired and the hot tube filters weren’t the cleanest but we didn’t let this spoil our stay as we were only there for two nights.

I would definitely visit the sight again.

JJs restaurant was lovely, definitely worth a visit.

Ideal location near everything we wanted to be. Yes there was loud music from bars etc but all good, ideal for a 2 night stop.
Only negatives - wish we had one of the appartments on floor below as it was about 70 steps to climb to get to the appartment.
Issue with temperature of hot water and it was difficult to control. It really needs looking at. The hot water was scalding and difficult to get a good temp with the cold mixer tap in the shower and sinks.
Cleaning could have been better ie a mop around all floors but nothing to stop us booking again.
Finally, we had plenty of bath towels but perhaps a few more hand towels, we only had 1 between 6 of us.

Brilliant service, always responded to messages/queries quickly.

Very modern and comfortable apartment, plenty of room for a family of four,great location and parking right outside front door.

Overnight stay was well priced for bed and breakfast. The room had been updated, somewhere to put a bag or hang towels would be good. Hotel was clean and customer service good.

Well-appointed, clean and tidy cottage in the centre of the town near the river with walks, pubs and restaurants close by.

The beds and living room were extremely comfortable and the kitchen is fully featured. The small back garden is a lovely sun trap.

The complementary items and doggy treats were a nice touch.

Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Devereux House. A superbly positoned property only a few minutes walk to the restaurants and bars, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The upper floor has wonderful views of the abbey across the harbour. A very relaxing stay.

Really great town centre location and a clean, tidy apartment. Nice kitchen, good bathroom with a big shower. Ample dining space with all the usual cutlery, plates etc.
I’m 6’4” so would prefer a king sized bed but all in all a great stay thanks.

Needs a little more tlc scruffy rug , in lounge garden furniture i had to clean full of dirt
Stayed 3/4times before and enjoyed this i feel housekeeper didnt do their best .

The property was beautiful. Absolutely stunning views from every window. It was spacious for 6 guests and the parking for 2 cars was a brilliant bonus. We would stay in this property again in a heart beat. A hint that I picked up from previous reviews was to closely follow the very clear access instructions because the property is tucked away! Thank you !!!

Wonderful location with great views and beach access. The home was comfortable and a lovely space to stay in.

Good location as a base, great house, deceptively big inside, really enjoyed our stay.

Accommodation was great and very handy to the town centre.

Had a lovely three night stay at the lobster pot. Everything was great : very clean ; pleasant decor; comfortable beds; excellent communication with the host.
We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Personally everything was spot on. I can't find any faults whatsoever with the accommodation. It was clean, modern & well kitted out with everything you would need for a pleasant stay. In fact, it was so nice, I didn't want to leave the apartment so didn't see enough of whitby for that reason 😆

Excellent communication from booking right the way through to the stay and beyond. Property was beautiful, very clean, exactly as the pictures showed. Kitchen well stocked in terms of crockery etc and 2 ftidges great for the 9 of us stsying. Location was fabulous with the beach and 8 minute walk away. The enclosed garden allowed us to relax knowing the dogs were safe.

Lovely cottage with the most comfortable bed. Cleanliness was second to none, place was spotless. On the down side although we liked the peace and quiet there was really nothing to do close by. One pub just outside the entrance which does great food at very reasonable prices. A few of the dishes were chipped and there’s nothing worse than drinking from a chipped cup. Overall a lovely place to stay and we would go back.

The apartment is exactly as described - my 5 stars is based on it being as I expected and not a 5 star all singing and dancing apartment. We stayed for 4 nights and had a great stay. Great location, clean and comfortable stay with everything we needed.
