Having initially contacted Gordon by phone I found it helped to send details and photographs of the clock via email. Gordon provided me with detailed explanation of the various aspects of this particular clock that might require care and attention. In the event we delivered the clock to him. He worked diligently putting the clock back to a full working condition. At every stage he shared what needed doing and how much it was going to cost. In short order he had fixed the clock and put it back into full working order. On collection he gave me clear instructions how to care for the clock and what precautions to take. Needless to say we were delighted with his service throughout the whole process. Thank you so much from a fully satisfied customer.

I gifted a Moorcroft clock to a friend, but unfortunately it developed a fault, draining the battery every few months, which was clearly not normal.

Recently had my small grandfather wall clock repaired and parts replaced by Gordon after it suddenly stopped working. He seems very knowledgeable and informative.
He only had it for a few days as needed to get replacement parts so service was very quick and now have it back with various options for the chimes and also the option to be silent at night which is something more than we had previously. I would definitely use his service again and would be happy to recommend him.

An excellent and very quick service repairing a broken and obsolete clock insert for a Moorcroft pottery

Called about two issue with my clock and the gentleman was able to talk me through the problems to solve both of them over the phone, one issue was the chimes being an hour out, which he managed to easily solve by getting me to push the hour hand back, (it must have gotten moved due to day live saving time at some point) the other issues with the pendulum kept stoping, which, by putting the phone close to the clock, he was able to determine and help me solve, the fact that the clock was not level, minor things really, but things I wouldn’t have figured out myself, I am so grateful and amazed at the man’s skill and knowledge, especially just by listening over the phone, I really can’t recommend enough.

Gordon to the rescue once more. Gave me great advice on how to get my longcase working again without having to take it to him. Thanks again Gordon.
