I was in the briarhill store today and I hope that no one is ever treated like this poor woman I seen lying on the floor crying with all her handbag threw out on the floor where she lost her purse the staff was so rude and horrible to her she knew she lost it in there she went to catch a bus and she hadn't it your store was the only place she had been first they tried to convince her they looked which they hadn't then the girl in charge told her she must have dropped it on bus she had looked on CCTV and no where did the poor woman drop it to get up of the floor they had work to do which as far as I ever see in there they are the rudest staff ever she got up shaking went down all the aisles the lady herself and found it thank god where she had left it down to see had she enough money to purchase something no apology nothing just watched her leave and made jokes if that the kind of staff ye have I hope that poor woman got home safe and never goes back again

Homesavers exchange rate is ridiculously high, item priced at 8 sterling charged 12 euros when it should have been 9 50. Very over priced

Very disappointing costumer service!
Probably the last time when I shop at Homesavers Ballyfermot. It’s the second time when I paid for products I didn’t buy. The person at the till scanned some biscuits I didn’t even have in my basket: 2 packs for €6.99 each. I thought the total was a bit over what I estimated, but I could only check the receipt when I got home.
The first time she scanned a product twice.

I shopped in Homesavers Nenagh, all staff, in particular Mairead & Stephen were such a massive help, ordered items from UK not in stock & kept me informed by text on progress. Great value for money & such a wide variety.

Went in and seen a 3 cube book shelf price on it £40 thought ok most it will be is €50 as the euro price was not displayed. Got to the till had other items paid. Then discovered that I was charge €67.50 for something that was marked £40. Even worse checked B&M their store in the north and they selling for £30. Will be taking the item back absolutely ridiculous inflation and false advertising. Put the euro prices on if you are going to be selling it for euro.

I bought a Stone Buggy rug price sticker said £30/€35 and door chimes £18/€21.. A day later I noticed on my bank account I was charged €45 for rug and €27 for door bell.. I returned to store today thinking I would get the mistake rectified.. The young assistant explained the price you are charged is not the price on the item, there are hidden charges tax and VAT none of which is shown on my receipt..This is false advertising the price on item is the price that should be charged.. I am discussed and will never shop there again..

Went to Homesavers in Nenagh today looking for a Marquee, was greeted by such a friendly crew of staff that could not have genuinely been any nicer! Massive mention to be said about the manager Stephen, he was excellent, so bubbly and helpful and hands down one of the best I’ve came accross in all the home savers stores in Ireland ! Thank you so much for you help and generosity in store, and will definitely call again.

Went in to homesavers in dungarvan purchase a tin of paint on shelf price 11.50 got to the til charged me 14.95 said to her 11.50 on shelf the manager says price is wrong I said to her what ever price is on shelf it has to be sold for that she said no I won't be shopping in there ever again go in every week shopping staff have time to sit around talking no time to check prices on shelf rang ccpc they said false advertis them manager goes up shelf takes all the 3 11.50 price things off shelf .3 different tins all priced 11.50 won't be going in there again rude manager it wasn't in sterling on shelf was 11.50 euros I'm on to the ccpc at moment .can't even get reply back from homesavers on line

Absolutely terrible service was in one in stranolar and was 30 euro for what I was buying and said £20 sterling on it take sterling sticker of if that’s the case got to till he said can only pay euro never heard worse my life what u doing false advertisement for there mate sud called a maneger if called might give it to for me for Sterling rate which stated on item terrible n was not understanding first time shopping won’t be back appauling you should be able to have a choice what u pay with watever shop go to must shops I’ve been in and one I work in you pay euro or sterling 😡

Purchased a product which had a price displayed on the package. The price was in Sterling and not Euros. Got to the checkout and discovered the Sterling price. I paid it but I am now raising the matter with the CCPC as the labeling was misleading. I wonder how many people get caught out by this practice. Anyway, we shall see what they have to say to the CCPC.

Went into homesavers dundalk and woman behind counter was very rude twice, I was getting bottled fizzy drinks and she picked them up and slammed them nearer to her, and person in front of me was slow at paying by card and she let out a very loud sigh, I rang shop to complain and was told she was having a bad day

Total scam. First of all, the Dungarvan store looks as if it has been shut down. I arrived thinking it was closed until I walked by the automatic doors and they opened. Quite unusual as some sort of black tape had been put over the doors. Minimal lighting with about 3 employees inside. All prices were listed in sterling, which I think is a complete scam for people to pay extra. I had picked up quite a few bits and went to the till. The staff were alright. The total price seemed a bit much, but I had picked up many items, so I didn't think much of it. Arrived home and checked the receipt, only to find that I had been charged three times for multiple items! I got a refund, but I would avoid this store at all costs. Some sketchy stuff going on here...

Absolutely appalling customer service. I purchased 2 toy sets for the promotional price 2 for €25. One cost €16.99 and the other €8.01. I tried to return one as it was faulty having travelled 30 minutes. I was told it could not be exchanged as I needed to return both sets as the deal was 2 for €25. Their thinking is that if I return 1 set for €16.99 I may look to return the other set for €16.99. However, my receipt clearly states one set for €16.99 and the other for €8.01! As a receipt is needed for any returns - and as the receipt clearly shows the two different prices -their reason is completely illogical. When I suggested they should have a sign informing customers that if they wanted to return sets from the 2 for €25 deal, they would have to return both - I was told I was being rude...... As a customer I have a right to return faulty goods, I had my receipt. They had no returns policy displayed. She refused to help me and told me to come back tomorrow to speak to a manager. So if you wish to purchase the 2 for €25 set, and one is faulty, make sure to return both to ensure you are not making endless trips. I will never purchase anything from this store again. She said that if I returned that same day with both sets that she would not help me. I would have assumed a manager would be on duty daily. Futhermore, she told me that if I was having a bad day that I should go and take it out on someone else and indicated to my son! I was actually having a lovely day with my family, I simply wanted to return a faulty good.

I go to our local Homesavers every fortnight and I love the store !!
I buy all my Xmas Halloween decorations from there my whole house is top to bottom in small furniture from them too 🤩
Excellent value I find the staff very helpful and toiletries are cheaper than the supermarkets!!

You need to watch your pricing I picked up some light bulbs there was two prices on them 599 and 699 I got charged the latter told till assistant did not even get a reply talk about pay peanuts get monkies

Im a very loyal customer to HomeSavers, I took a trip down to the new Homesavers on Tullow Road in Carlow yesterday (4/1/2022). I went in all the workers apart from one was just standing around chatting by the front door and around the till in a little group. As I was walking around at the other end of the shop I could hear two workers loudly laughing as other customers were walking in. I needed assistance and after waking around I found a worker and she was extremely helpful. When I was getting into my car to leave I saw a different worker standing by the front door and she was having a smoke and just laughing, which I thought was very unprofessional.

A total dive the shop is falling down literally, floor is in bits a real safety hazard, a law suit waiting to happen, also the staff are very young and immature always shouting and useing foul language at each other in front of customers, even the manager allows this i see her joining in. Not run like a buisness at all. The staff would not get a job anywhere else with this rude carry on. Avoid like the plague. This is purely for the ballybricken Waterford store only

I bought a vanity table from home savers and the drawer when you make it the thing that makes it pull out it was broken I went back in and I didn't get my money back everything was in it and they didn't even give my money back

There customer service is non existence.
I am now waiting 2 weeks for someone to phone me.
I would advise people not to buy any firelogs burners as I was given one for a birthday present and it's wasn't open till this month to discover there was a fault with one of the legs.
As it was over the 28 days they are doing nothing about it.
Customer rights have gone out the window with this company
