I bought a caravan at middlemuir heights tarbolton in 2022. 3 weeks after the boiler broke. I got into debt trying to keep myself heated in winter. The site owners have no people skills! The way they treated me caused great distress and they took a £14500 caravan and all my outside belongings, bbqs, garden tools, tables etc for £3000 debt!! I would NOT recommend! The dodgy seller was Martin Heggie. He got a dodgy plumber to pass the boiler, wouldn't recommend trusting him either!

Judt had zoom phone call with them, was supposed to be an hr. Went on for soo much longer. Must thino we're gullible as they were asking for £13,000 for setting up the claim And then 40% of any claims. Didn't feel comfortable to continue with this claim. Didnt fancy loosing any more money

Haven - Rockley Park
Caravan was lovely but they are packed in like sardines, you felt like you could touch the caravan next to you. Harbourside restaurant was closed Monday-Thursday which is no good if your on a 4 day break. Was only asked to show our pass once the rest of the time the staff were too busy chatting so why pay for them in the first place. Sad to say this is one haven site I won't be returning to.

Stay away! This company is a scam.

There is no customer service what’s so ever, they have turned off their phone lines and the only contact is email which is either ignored or takes up to 2 weeks for a minimal response.
They are the most cold and cynical company we have ever dealt with.

There is no option to cancel your holiday despite very good reason, they want to take 100% of your money (90% if they are being generous), due to the long waits of a response and the deliberate state that you can’t contact them they have got you, the longer you wait of course the sooner your holiday date is nearing. If you want to cancel your holiday they will take 100% of the money. They will it move your date either.

Our son has a medical condition and unfortunately has deteriorated, we have been told that we can no longer travel with him due to the condition he is in. Holiday park specials couldn’t give a damn and it’s more or less our fault, they send a link for us to cancel the holiday but will take 90%-100% of the money, there is no option to move dates and no option to talk to someone over the phone. You will get passed person to person and have to continuously repeat yourself for the same cold answer in response.

They got you and there is nothing you can do about it. They can not provide you with a service and the customer service is non existent.
It’s incredibly upsetting to deal with a company like this in this day and age.
On top of the awful news about our son we also have to loose over £700.

We are trying to get in touch with HolidayParkSpecials but all their phone numbers result inactive, or switched off, there is no other way to contact them, no one replies to the email, they don't give the possibility to get contacted in other ways. Not helpful, awful customer service (if there is any, considering that they avoid talk with you), stay away from them

Our week’s stay in Recreation Park De liestert Roggel, Netherlands, was supposed to be a restful break for our family of 6 to enjoy, however the park’s lack of rules meant it was spoilt by two houses of Dutch people directly opposite, that were allowed to use their stay for loud drunken and drug taking parties that went on through the night, every night!
On our very first night the noise from the music, shouting and screaming got so loud that by 2am I managed to find the out of hours reception number and phoned to complain. The receptionist told me that the rules of the park were “no noise after 11pm” and he assured me he would put a stop to it. However, despite his visit to quieten them, the noise just continued once he’d left.
The next day I visited reception and made a complaint about the disturbance, but I was told there was nothing they themselves could do about it and that if it happened again, I was to just telephone the out of hours reception and they would deal with it.
The next night we endured the same experience and again I telephoned the out of hours reception but again the receptionists visit had no effect.
The third and fourth nights were unfortunately a repeat of the same and by this time I was at a complete loss as to what to do, especially as we were booked to stay for a further 2 nights, we had all really had enough.
I again visited the reception, this time asking to speak with the park manager. I told her that I wasn’t happy about the lack of action from the Park to my noise complaints and She advised that they don’t normally allow groups of young people to book the houses, but as it was booked online, they couldn’t really tell. The manager also assured me that they were aware of the noise disturbance from the houses and had thrown one family out, but this was clearly a lie to pacify us, as upon returning to our accommodation we understand from neighbours that they were due to leave anyway and another family arrived later that day to take over their house. The manager also informed me that she would ask her director to telephone me during the day to discuss my complaint, but this didn’t happen either.
So, to sum up, if you want to visit this park to have all night wild parties then this is definitely the place for you, oh, and you can make as much noise as you like, because there aren’t really any rules.
If you want to have a restful break with your family, you’ll just have to either gamble on the goodwill of those around you or better still book Centre Parcs nearby at Limburgse Peel, where I understand that they take a firmer approach to this kind of behaviour.
In addition, we are an English family which the Park obviously doesn’t cater for as nothing is translated into English. Even the app for booking swimming times is either Dutch or German and we were told by reception that English people don’t often stay here, I can now see why!

Booked a surprise mystery house and got a standard cottage. I emailed them and their reply was, we didn’t promise anything special or specific. The website was really misleading

I got contacted today ref a parking I’ve made for september I had a live chat with Gemma. Of which as I’m in quarantine at the mo I couldn’t do another quarantine in September with my next holiday. Gemma kindly issued me with a cash refund so I was very pleased with the service I had today as I’ve used them in the past and will carry on to do so in the near future.

Had to cancel due to covid 19, no refund or chance of voucher, will never use again, and recommend nobody else does.

We hired a super deluxe static caravan on the beach for a week and it was a great holiday. Freshwater Beach is a nice clean, friendly site with facilities for tourers and camping as well. My parents took their tourer and were very happy with the pitch size and very clean toilets etc. It's a little more than other sites in the area but the location makes it worth it. I would recommend this site to anyone! Book in advance to get a pitch or caravan in a good place, some static caravans are on the main drag going into campsite and would not be suitable for small kids.

Just retuned from 5 days at the park and could not fault it. The staff were very helpful and everything was very clean. We visited during the uk school holiday but not the local Dutch holidays so the park was very quite, in fact we were the only people staying in our area so it was great. I am not sure if it would be so nice when the park is full as there is a LOT of accommodation and I think it might be very crowded. Overall a good small park and nice swimming facilities at a very reasonable price.

Accommodation was not luxury. Furniture was very worn beds wore bowed mugs were chipped microwave oven plate wouldn't sit straight. Cleanliness was not up to scratch. Full ashtrays were left outside on the garden table the hot tub had green slippery meldew around it for two days the hot tub was not used because the maintenance guy didn't turn up and there was no chlorine and the water began going green and had a vile smell. Reception wasn't open at the given hours. I just couldn't wait to come home.

We've just booked a week at the Efteling Village in Holland. Was really easy to book and everyone I spoke to was very helpful. Good price too.

My 2 children and I had a wonderful week. I could not fault the park, the facilities, the staff or the location. I would unreservedly recommend the park to anyone, especially those with younger children (mine are 8 and 5). Also great value for money and on site food and drink was very reasonable

Holiday Park Specials made my booking experience so easy, with a great choice of parks to choose from and super good customer service I will definitely be using them again and will recommend to friends.

Really good value - amazing compared to UK and much better choice of parks and facilities. Was really easy to arrange and staff very helpful.

I wanted to get away and didn't want to go through all the hassle of searching and searching about where to go and Holiday Park Specials was the answer to all my questions. They had a varied choice of holiday parks to choose from and the booking process was so simple and quick. I would recommend to any holiday goers.
