We gave HireAra’s CV formatting tool a trial because we wanted to speed up the time it takes to format CVs. However, we found that any time saved during parsing is completely lost on checking for errors/hallucinations and reformatting bullet points etc; you also soon notice the time parsing takes when you’re sat waiting for it to complete before you get down to checking the next CV.

The support was good but no matter how many changes they made to the AI prompts, we still had to spend a significant amount of time checking the parsed document in a way that we don’t when we format CVs manually.

I cannot see how this product will give a decent ROI if it takes much longer to format a CV than it does if you format it manually. If you’re looking to reduce the time it takes to format a CV, I would look elsewhere.

A simple, well designed tool that can be used to format CVs as well as creating sales/marketing content for candidates and really save time while improving branding and consistency
