Although my coach and physical therapist were initially wonderful, the big-company-institutional depersonalization took over, removing me inexplicably from the formerly successful program. They tell you one thing then quickly change their tune. Too bad but not surprising in today's corporate health care environment.

The program is very good. However, the latest version of the Enso unit is a significant decline vs the prior version. The prior unit held a charge for multiple uses and multiple days if you didn't use it. The current unit holds a charge for 1 session only and is drained by the next day without use. I was very happy with the program and the Enso unit previously.

Not for me. Made my pain worse and the app is annoying to use. I made my own PT routine using exercises that I found on a variety of online resources.

My coach and PT person were nice but I'm not into the app itself.

I just saw one review from someone who had been on program 4 months and LOVED it. I wish i could have replied—-Well, its about to fall off a cliff. I felt the same, less pain, better mobility. I am at the 4 month point. Then exercises on app started showing tabs saying-modified per request for things i never tagged. The video evals, while good concept, are a pain to get right tech-wise. Worse, i was out of the blue asked to verify approval to share w pcp, which by itself was upsetting. When i replied no, the page closed, no explanation allowed, and my access was partially locked. Spent the whole day, now going on day 2, trying to find out why. There is no one to tell you. AI said it is bec i must share to continue,but maybe not. I would like to know. If this is the case, i wish they had told me before i started. Tech issues and lack of communication, possibly MIScommunication are a problem. So disappointed. This has tainted the entire experience

First of all, the only reason I’m giving the Hinge Program 3 stars rather than 2 or even 1 is that I was reasonably satisfied for nearly a year-and-a-half. No longer! I started the Hinge Program in December 2024, completing a clearly labeled 40-level regimen over time. With my therapist’s blessing, I was working through the levels once more. I had reached level 14 again when all the levels disappeared, replaced with jumbled pictures and random dates. I thought it was a technical issue and contacted both my PT and tech support. After a series of back-and-forth communications, I was told that my program had been upended to “improve it” and would not be restored. This made it impossible to navigate. To my knowledge, Hinge solicited no input from its client base and offered no preview information or explanation. They just arbitrarily changed everything and politely dismissed my concerns with a “head pat” and a “There, there. It’s for you own good” attitude. After a 76-week streak, 391 sessions, and 37,511 points amassed, one would think my input would have been taken seriously. Maybe it was, but it didn’t change anything. Unable to continue advancing from level to level, I gave up on the program. The last time I checked – just a few days ago –the levels hadn’t been restored, and at this point, I’m sure that is not going to change. So much for “improvement” and client satisfaction!

This is honestly the best experience I’ve ever had with a product. This is actually my first time writing a product review because I usually like to use something for a while before I share my experience.
This little device has truly made a difference in my life. I’m a competitive tennis player, and at 45, playing tennis regularly can definitely take a toll on your body. After a tough match, recovery is really important for me, and this device has become something I genuinely look forward to using.
What makes the experience even better is the company itself. Their communication and customer service are amazing. Whenever I’ve had a question or needed help, they’ve been incredibly responsive and genuinely helpful. You can really tell that they care about their customers.
I’m so happy I found this product. It has become an important part of my recovery routine, and I honestly can’t imagine going back to playing without it.

I’ve been using Hinge Health for a few years now, and it’s genuinely the best pain management and physical therapy program I’ve experienced. The device and app are easy to use, and being able to do my exercises from the comfort of home has been a total game changer. Highly recommend to anyone dealing with chronic pain who wants a convenient, effective PT option.

The program was newly introduced to me at my previous employee and at that time my couches seemed to care and were good on following up after we made plans for improvements. The big problem I have right now is that I do not work at that company any longer and i am in need of new gel pads. I have communicated with the companies support team and have been denied any assistance in getting new ones. Because my current employee does not participate in the program. I am frustrated that the answer from their support was to recycle the device as they could not provide any way at all to receive new gel pads. It seems Hinge health seems to only care about a persons health if their company participates and not really about an individuals actual health. It is frustrating that the company support would rather you recycle the device that works perfectly for helping with the pain I experience rather then stand behind their product and support the people who use their device.

After doing all the required workouts to earn a Tense endo device ..and charging my insurance company....their app crashes. Uninstall, reinstall. .nothing. So I call to cancel. They tell me I can't use any of these devices anymore! Even though I paid for them or my insurance company did! What a massive rip off

My Enso device stopped working after a week. They promised to send a new one but nothing, just lip service. They bombard you with notifications and text messages but really provide no actual help.

It’s not possible to speak highly enough of the Hinge Health recovery program. I was limping and every step hurt. Coach Christy and PT Alec have me moving around again. Most days are pain free. It’s been over three years and I’ve not had a single out of pocket expense.

I signed up for Hinge Health. They set me up with exercises for my back, neck and shoulders. The PT, I guess, is overseeing my PT messaged me. He wanted to know about my health. I have a lot of chronic illnesses and have had a lot of surgeries. I messaged back and said I was not going to text him that information he could set up a call. The esercises that they had set up for me were not a good fit for me. Then a health coach messaged me to set up a call with her. I tried and she wasn't available for weeks. Hinge seems very greedy for the business yet doesn't have the workforce ready to get this app off the ground. I agree with another persons review that they want your camera on for your exercises. You have to be so far away from it for it to work you can't see the exercise you are supposed to be doing. Good concept messed up execution. My muscles are so tight all the time I need the PT massage but the exercises.

Order the Enzo device, received it and it doesn't work. Contacted customer service and they couldn't provide assistance because tech support wasn't available. They instructed me to send email and to no avail.

Scam, not free. Also they constantly hound you for information. Not worth it.

Hinge Health is a great way to keep movement present in a quick way. I also like the interactions with the care team.

The physical therapist and health coach are great you can pretty much customize your work out . My biggest problem with hinge health is the say it’s free but it is not they ask for your insurance provider to see if’s covered in my case it said I was covered so I could start the program and I did a couple of months later I’m getting E O Bs saying it not covered now they want me to pay for it even though they checked my insurance. BEWARE!

I've been using Hinge Health for 3 years. At first, it was great. The Health Coach and Physical Therapist are available through texts and/or video chat. The PT exercises (calledd Playlists) changed on a regular basis and were pretty personalized.

But my experience has steadily declined over the 3 yrs. I had built up to about a 20 minute session that changed every week or so. Suddenly, they were cut in half to just 9 minutes. No explanation provided. It was a real setback, and I had to make up the missing time on my own. When I asked why my sessions had been chopped in half I was told "shorter sessions are our new policy." Imagine doing on 10 minutes of physical therapy! Why bother?

Each exercise always had great videos to show you how to do each exercise. I am not athletic. I never really learned how to do even basic stretching exercises or yoga.
I really relied on these videos. You could pause your session and watch them. GONE. As of April 2026

So I asked what happened to them. Hinge told me "oh, you can listen to the audio directions and follow along. The videos are permanently removed." Keep in mind, my Health Insurance and employer pay for my use of this app! And now I can't even follow along because the exercises in the sessions are too fast. I can't pause them to get video instructions that break down each movement of the exercise.

So far so good.
I'm on day 7, staying consistent with daily therapy and it seems to help with back and sholder pain. Free gifts are a plus. Wish they're was an option to ask questions about other items like bladder control device on the app. Other than that. Love the program so far 💯

I love Hinge and recommend it often. While I've never finished a program, I love being able to jump around programs and learn new moves. I did the knee program for a few weeks, learned some moves and saw improvement. Did the same with neck and shoulder. It's great to find new exercises to do. Everyone is always great and listens great.

I cannot say enough good things about Hinge Health! If you can get access to it, do it and use it. Explore and play around with! I joined for pelvic floor exercises to help me stop leaking and it worked so well! I have since used for plantar fasciitis pain and found relief and help with shoulder pain. Seriously the best thing ever to help you enjoy life more!
