They promised us covers for the Deck furniture we purchased. I asked their customer service chat what the difference between 2 different collection(Ardenelle and Hawthorne)were and they answered that the more expensive one came with covers. We paid more & when the set arrived there were no covers. After at least 25 exchanges via email, they offered a $25 refund, when the covers were worth $150. We spent over $1000 on the set, but they would not budge. The set is good quality, so we are happy about that… Disappointing.

We purchased a 5 piece Hillga set last year and initially were very happy with it. Then a gliding rocker broke, the rocking mechanism is faulty. Hillga sent new parts, we fixed it, then BOTH rockers broke a few months ago. Two months of back and forth with Hillga's terrible customer service, they said sent new parts that never arrived and now they say they don't have any more parts so we have to wait 3-4 weeks until new parts are manufactured ready to ship. We have lost an entire season+ with them. Their customer service is terrible, Ivy, the worst customer service rep I have ever encountered, actually said she "CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY WE ARE SO FRUSTRATED" - what? After spending $1,500 on a set that is faulty, we tried their parts once and they DON'T WORK and they refuse to send new chairs. They are trying to push us past the warranty. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE INITIAL SALE, they sell faulty rockers - if they were good, why would they break TWICE in less than a year?

Do not order from them ! They don’t want to give you your money back ! They make you buy the product and you have to email them to get a return label and they won’t give you the refund !

Beware of doing business with Hillga.
I ordered the Ardenelle wicker 5 piece set on May 23, 2026.
I based this order on their ad that said covers were included with this set ( covers can be pricey) and the quality appearance of the furniture.
They immediately charged my credit card the full amount.
The 2 swivel chairs, side table and coffee table arrived in a few days but no sofa or covers.
When I emailed Hillga asking about the missing sofa and covers, their answer was the sofa is out of stock (they never mentioned this as I was ordering and I had to contact them)and there were no covers included in this offer.
I sent a hilighted screen shot showing covers were supposed to be included.
After going back and forth several times, still no covers and now they dont even say when the sofa will be delivered .
Their customer service is terrible. There is no phone number to contact a real human. It is apparent that they practice deceptive advertising and I doubt I will see that sofa any time soon.
The furniture they did send seems to be good quality and not too hard to assemble. We had one broken screw but they send extras and tools that you will need.

We asked to delay delivery until july due to house not being completed. I was told not a problem but today everything shows up. The delivery was dropped off at top of driveway in street.
This is terrible customer service

I needed some inexpensive sofas for our patio at our new home. I was already be on my budget so I didn't want to spend much. they're really cheap sofas didn't even hold enough weight to seat three adults. I ran across hillga.com and I found these great synthetic wicker sofas for $549. I place the order and immediately realized I wanted a different color. it took me a day or so to get a response but they wrote to me and said it was no problem they'd be happy to change it to the color I like even though the order would reflect the original color. I thought yeah right. well 4 days later my sofa showed up in this little box like 4 ft by 3 ft by 18 in high and I thought there's no way. my neighbor and I started unpacking and I couldn't believe it the minute I snipped the packaging the cushions all plumped up immediately to their full size and they were really well made. we barely looked at the instructions. these things are so well designed they go together quickly and I think we might have spent 20 minutes max on each sofa. they are extremely comfortable and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I highly recommend them especially in this world where so much that is advertised is garbage when you get it.

Unfortunately this company uses FedEx to ship this product so although all 8 boxes were shipped the same time out set arrived on three separate days. While the boxes were pretty beat the well packaged items inside were unscathed. Furniture is very high quality. Happy customer :)

I would not recommend this brand at all. I was very disappointed with the wicker construction and while they say 6 inches with cushions only the seat cushion is 6 inches but back cushions are awful and worse than normal pillows you could buy at Walmart. Very disappointed. There are so many good reviews online so I wonder if the company deletes the bad reviews. glad I only bought two chairs and Ottomans as I will not buy anything else from this company.

I very rarely write reviews...but here we go......The Good, and the Bad!
We ordered the Ardenelle set...the top of the line.
The Good.......beautiful looking set well crafted (imitation?) wicker.
Very nice finish. Plump ~6" base cushions. Excellent shipping. Well packed. No flaws. Extra hardware just in case you lose a piece. Nice ratchet installation tool included.
The Bad........The back cushions are filled poorly. The pictures all show as if they are as thick as the base cushions, but they are not, and they flop over easily in the wind. The ottomans cushions are flimsy thin and slide off whenever you rest your feet up on them. Two of the wicker sides should extend up to hold the cushions in place. The seating in the chairs are much more comfortable than the sofas...which are very hard. The reason for that is the cushions of the chair sit on wicker, while the cushions on the sofa sit directly on steel. We bought an almost identical Hampton Bay Cambridge set off the floor from Home Depot a few years back (they no longer offer it)....the price was much less, and the comfort level was far superior. Even the fabric was a much higher grade than Hilga offers. We regret our purchase here and hope others don't make our same mistake falling for Hilga's great marketing! I hope they improve their product......It wouldn't be hard to do. Also, the back pillows are flimsy and blow over with slight breezes.....Don't forget to watch Hilga's sale...it's always on sale....always last chance....always the same sale price.

They still have not sent the covers 5 weeks later

I ordered the Ardenelle Conversation Set with Ottomans on 6/9, but the website didn’t say it was a pre-order. A week later, I found out it would be delayed because it was pre-ordered. Chairs and table arrived 6/23, but the ottomans are delayed until “around 7/3,” even though my order was marked “fulfilled.” I believe Hillga confused my order with the Ardenelle Conversation Set without ottomans, causing this issue. Hillga only communicates by email, and updates were unclear and slow. Be aware of possible delivery delays and communication issues before ordering. At the time of this review, I have not received my ottomans and their websites states the delivery status as "preparing".

We purchased some lovely, comfortable chairs from this company but not directly from them. After only a few months one of the bases snapped. The chair is useless without this piece. The company does not honor the warranty unless the chair is purchased directly from them and will not even make the one piece we need available to purchase.
