Awful company to deal with - zero stars
Quite simply the worst experience I have had with a company.
I was sold a shutter that your fitters are inadequately trained to install.
When it subsequently broke, I tried on multiple occasions to have someone come out to fix it - the fitter then didn’t show up on the day of my scheduled appointment and ignored all requests to contact me by staff.
I was then told I could have a refund, which has not yet been processed despite being “raised with your accounts team” 29 days ago.
I have never in my life experienced such appalling service at every single stage of the process - poor quality products, fitted incorrectly and a completely ineffective customer service team when trying to sort out a simple issue.

Excellent service from start to finish! The fitter Suryan from Hillarys Blinds and his worker were very professional, efficient and did a fantastic job. The blinds look great, and the quality of the finish is excellent. They were also very tidy and cleaned up after themselves once the job was completed. Really happy with the overall service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new blinds. Thanks again for a brilliant job!

My only issue there are puckers in the roller Blind where it meets the bottom bar. It looks lumpy and doesn’t correctly fit the window to block out light.
I find there is too much of a gap around the top and sides to let in light.

Lack of communication and long time to wait but turned out fine
The only faults I could find is I couldn't contact the rep about the installation. So no contact up to a few days before. It took over 3 wks waiting on my order to arrive which I found a long time to wait. My old blinds weren't taken away which would have been a bonus. Having said that the installation was seamless and professional and the measurements too were carried out with precision.

Having made contact with Hillarys, I received an email promptly inviting me to choose a date on which their representative could call on me. Date decided, a text from Colin informed me of the time he would call if it suited me. On the day, I got to choose the material and colour. Colin informed me of the approximate delivery date. In due course, he texted me the exact date and his arrival time. He fitted my blinds quickly and efficiently. Colin was very pleasant and did an excellent job. The blinds are lovely, the quality seems great and they really are blackout. I am very happy with my purchase.

I was so impressed with the professionalism of the customer advisor. He called on phone few times ahead of the first appointment to check if I would be available and the time was suitable.
He came on time on the day of appointment and offered professional advised with my choice of chosen fabric and style. He did an excellent job with the fittings and advised of the 2 years guarantee after sales service. Fittings was done ahead of the time agreed. Very friendly and professional.
TO HILLARY COMPANY IN GENERAL
About 3 years ago, an appointment was given to me but the customer advisor /representative did not turn up. I made a follow up call an hour or 2 hours after the agreed appointment time on the day, she promised she would call but did not come.
No apology email/text or phone call from the company. I was so disappointed and unhappy that day.
