We are absolutely delighted with the service that Des Hayes provided when we recently got Venetian blinds fitted. His professionalism showed when he called to measure up and subsequently returned to fit the blinds last week. He was so efficient and left everything spotless after the blinds were up. Great service delighted with my blinds. Phil measured and fitted he did a great job.

I got sets of blinds and curtains made at the cost of €3200 and got 6 cushion covers. The covers were made not fit for purpose, they were too small. I brought them to the shops to get new cushions and they would not fit and was also told they were too small and not standard fits. When I made contact with the Rep that was assigned to us he told me they were free after all and cut the phone. It was a horrible experience for us.

We renovated our house over a 12 month timeline. On a number of occasions we found tradesmen did not arrive on their due date and often left a mess after them.
I found Hillary’s Blinds to be very friendly and they replied to my emails promptly. Phil was our fitter and he was a pleasure to deal with. He was very knowledgeable and offered some fantastic advice. He was very punctual and hung the blinds without any fuss. A big “Thank You” to Phil.

Excellent experience. Had wood shutters made and fitted in County Sligo. Wojciech the rep was very professional and shutters were fitted by him with great care and attention. If require more shutters would definitely use Hillarys again.

I spoke to Jennifer to advise her I mislaid clips for holding pelmet on my Hillary blinds she advised she would have to order these from the UK as they were unavailable in Ireland the whole transaction was completed ahead of time and free of charge Thanks again Jennifer

Phil came to our house and measured our windows so quickly. He was able to show us a huge range of blinds and advise us on what would suit each room best. Would highly recommend the service.

Very disappointed with Hillarys services. I placed an order for curtains and blinds back in January and paid a significant deposit, but now it has been over 3 months with no results.
During this time, I had to constantly chase them myself for updates. I was told the order would be ready in April, yet there was no communication from their side at all.
The biggest shock came today when I called and was told that my order had simply been cancelled — without any notice. No phone call, no email, no message. Completely unacceptable, especially considering a deposit was already paid.
This level of customer service is extremely unprofessional. A complete waste of time and trust. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Brilliant service. We were in the middle of some renovation work and dealing with contractors all the time not comingbthrough on their word. Our fitter Greg could not have been better came on time delivered on his word and provided a great service. Would highly recommend.

If you’re considering Hillarys for blinds installation in Ireland, think twice.

This was a frustrating experience from start to finish. After waiting nearly 3 months, I was informed on the day of installation that multiple blinds hadn’t even been sent for production due to an internal error. No prior communication, no warning — just a failed appointment after months of waiting.

The installation experience itself was equally disappointing. The installer was rigid, unhelpful, and lacked basic customer focus. A simple request to remove an existing curtain (a few screws) was refused, which made the whole interaction awkward and unnecessarily difficult.

Because of their internal mistakes, the order ended up being completed in parts, meaning repeated visits and repeated disruption at home. With a young family, this is not a minor inconvenience — it’s time, planning, and disruption that could have easily been avoided with proper coordination.

What this reflects is a company struggling with basic organisation, communication, and customer service. Delays happen — but poor handling, lack of flexibility, and zero ownership make it far worse.

A small discount was offered at the end, but it felt more like a token gesture than a genuine attempt to put things right.

Overall: unreliable service, poor communication, and a disappointing customer experience. I would not recommend

Fantastic service. From coming to measure and help choose the right blind to fitting, absolutely great. Greg was brilliant and helpful.

Our advisor,Fergus was very helpful,efficient courteous and professional.The blinds arrived and were fitted when expected.
